 Delano sighed as Aruna approached. He had feared he would lose her with that accidental fatal blow...but his honor had not allowed him to leave Rahu to just die. He didn't turn back to Rahu but instead turned his head to look at him. "Scream all you want Rahu, but as I told you before. your actions speak louder then your words do even right at this moment. If your feelings are different then what your actions or behaviour portrays then you did a good job and nearly ruining an innocent mare's life because of your selfish pride, your inability to show her your feelings and hiding it instead. A very cruel game, whether intended or not, it played with her heart. A true and real stallion would never jerk a mare's heart strings in that manner. " He wanted to stomp on Rahu's head and knock sense into his thick skull. "And perhaps she called to some stallion she knew would be there for her and not jerk her around...." He turned his head away from Rahu, disgusted. "You are nothing more now then a snarling beast crying your case when its already too late and falling upon deaf ears." He closed his eyes and let his head lay on Aruna's back. Her warmth and nearness was a comfort to him.

“Ruined her life no I kept my self from ever doing that. I did what I did so she could go on and find another who would love her how I could not. Apparently she already has done that. You still say actions speak loader than words when you only speak of actions I took to try and drive her away from me. And I never jerked her around; she should have known from my actions that I could never truly return her love.” He snorted and stumbled onto his feet though he was still weak. “But apparently that does not matter to no one but me. A snarling beast, no I more of a foolish, stupid snarling beast that made bad choices because of pride.” Limping away because of the knee injury, he was now more torn inside than ever before.

Delano next to her comforted her as she closed her eyes to Rahu's limping form, the last of her pain leaving with him as she finally understood his true intentions... though it pained her, it didn't hurt as much as it used to... now, she had truly moved on. "Thank you, Delano," she said, turning slightly to nuzzle him. "It seems things are settled... I feel so light now." As if a burden has been taken away... were my problems so heavy? It's no wonder if felt like I was having a hard time pulling through my life... A single tear fell from her eye, the last tear she would ever shed for her first love. For Rahu. Sighing, she closed up the special part of her heart that held Rahu into memories for another time. She now wanted to look toward the future... a future, she decided, would be with her new... interest. "You know... Rahu... was right, Delano. I..." she paused, wondering, if maybe, it was too soon.

Rahu never looked back as he limped away from both Aruna and Delano. he was now toren and broken inside after what had happened. sighing as he limped, he never wanted to see or hear from Aruna again. but it always seeemd something always happened between him and her. snorting he would now go on into hiding for now.

Delano watched as Rahu limped away...he had forgotten to heal that wound on the leg....at least it was not life threatening and might keep him out of trouble for a bit. He felt Aruna's nuzzle but he still watched Rahu. He heard her speak and turned his troubled eyes to meet her gaze. "Right about what my angel?" He looked towards Rahu once more and turned back to her. "Are you sure you do not wish to speak with him privately one last time? You have your closure and I am glad the burden is lifted, but what about him? Does he have his closure? " He tried to smile weakly, and as much as it pained him to do so, he knew there would be a need for them to speak one last time of their love that could never be it seemed. He closed his eyes once more and lowered his head to his chest. "Go, speak to him. I will be here waiting for you when you return from your talk. Right now he needs you more then I, even if just for a little while." He looked back at her, eyes soft and wondering but still troubled. His eyes told ehr he would always be tehre waiting for her, and of a love that would always be hers, if she wanted it. He was worried about her and also in a strange way worried for Rahu, although he knew not why. Sometimes that was the way it went and such was his ways in life as a unicorn. He turned his gaze back to watch Rahu's limping form.

PhoenixGuardianMikazuki "He's right about..." Aruna let her sentence fade at what Delano said next. "I'm quite sure... I don't wish to speak with him privately... but if you insist, Delano... I guess... I'll do it." She felt really uncomfortable now, not liking the way Delano looked. He looked so hurt... this was why she didn't want him to know about Rahu... and yet he somehow had compelled her to tell him. Sighing, she offered him her own weak smile. "I'll be back soon," she whispered, nuzzling him one last time. "Please wait for me." She slowly lumbered after Rahu, soon disappearing from sight. She had understood Delano's expression when they had locked eyes for a moment. When she came back, she would tell him what she had meant when she said Rahu had been right. samus x Rahu was slow at leaving as he had to limp away. snorting he did no know Aruna was coming towards him as Delano had asked her. still limping he was now thinking of where where he might god for a bit to rest and recover as his leg as chest still hurt a bit. ~Mialee!~XD Delano listened as she spoke. She seemed so deep in thought..HE knew she wanted to tell him something, he just wasn't sur if it was what he hoped for, but he trusted her and he would wait for her....he would always wait for her if she so desired. "He needs someone right now Aruna, my angel....and the only one he listens to is you. I would not insist if I thought it would harm you..but he needs someone to give him peace so he can move on. " He felt her nuzzle and he returned it...longing for that moment to last just a little longer. He wasn't really sure what to expect next, but whatever it was he would get through it with her. He would tell her what he had been wanting to say...when she returned. He watched her figure disappear from sight and he slowly made his way to a nearby tree, laying down under it for cover and also for the protection it seemed to give him. He felt a little more secure there. He laid his head on his forelegs and laid there, waiting. "I love you my golden angel...truly with all my heart." He whispered to himself, knowing she was too far asway now to hear his words but he felt some comfort in the thought maybe the wind would carry them to her. PhoenixGuardianMikazuki Aruna thought she heard some whisperings, sounding a lot like Delano, but shrugged them off. She would see him soon. She needed to talk with Rahu. "...Rahu," She said quietly, walking up next to him. "...Will you... let me help you?" she asked, very much wanting to help him but knowing he wouldn't allow her to if she just went ahead and did it. "...and... We... need to... talk," she finished uncomfortably, figuring out the random possibilities that could happen. She didn't want another injury, but with the way Rahu was now, she hoped she didn't need to worry about it. "...There's a stream nearby... would you like... to go there?" samus x Rahu flanted his ears as Aruna walked up next to him. " help no i need none as you can see i can still walk. and if you want to talk fine with me. if you want to go to the stream near by thats sounds good to me." stoping where he was, he really had nothing to talk about but aparently Aruna did. " lead the way if you want." PhoenixGuardianMikazuki "...okay," Aruna said quietly, feeling a bit submissive. "This way, Rahu," she said, leading him toward the stream. "After both fights, I'm sure... you're as thirsty as I am." She needed to talk to him so that he could finally have some peace in his mind--she was sure that even after what had happened, there would still be chaos going on in his mind. samus x "mmhmm." was all he said back to her. in his mind he was still in chaos, especially after both the fights but more so after the one with Delano. Obediently following Aruna, he still wondered why she would want to talk to him. After all after all that happened he figured she was over everything now and had only Delano in her eyes. PhoenixGuardianMikazuki "Lay down, Rahu," she said, laying down herself. "Next to or opposite from me, it's okay. But we need to talk. Are you all right?" The last question was referring to he himself. She wan'ted to know if he was over everything, if he could move on. He looked like he needed someone to just... help him out. She knew he didn't like having help, but maybe, just this once, he would allow it. She felt... sorry for him. She empathized with him too--after all, they had both had troubled minds--and she wasn't really sure how long it would take him before he would have some peace in his mind. If he would ever let go of the past. samus x "alright." Rahu grunted as he laid down next to Aruna as it hurt his leg a bit with where it was bitten, though after laying down it did not hurt as much. " depends, physical or mentaly. but dont anwser that. physical yes i alright. Mental i guess you can say thats a no. though im curious as to why you want to know. i thought you where over this and cared nothing about me now." shaking his head for a moment, he now would just tell her aything she wanted as he knew he could most likey trust her with anything he said. so far since he had known her, he knew he could trust her.

Aruna use a random bit of cloth she had aquired from her bonded to soak it in the stream and then, best she could, lay it against Rahu's wounded leg. Shifting a bit, slightly startled that Rahu had laid next to her, she cleared her throat softly. "I'm glad you're physically all right," she began in a soft voice, not quite whispering, but not really speaking loudly, either. "I'm sad to hear that mentally, you're not okay. Do want to share it? It might help, even if a little," she said, trying to sound soothing. Even though they had gone head to head with each other earlier, she trusted Rahu fully. Besides, if anything attacked them, she had both Rahu and Delano to come running, didn't she? Lucky me... Whether it was sarcasm or not, she felt priveledged to have at least gotten to know Rahu even a small bit; she could say she even felt special, since she was the only one mare Rahu was even "kind" to.

Rahu only winched a little as she put the cloth on his knee. Shaking his head at the fact Aruna had been slightly started he had lain next to her. He then laid his head over his other knee that made his look away but he still listened. “If I told you anything then you would most likely be go back to be confused and mentally in turmoil like last time.” Giving a sigh and closing his eyes for a moment. Of course even though they had clashed and butted head, he still would protect her if need be. “If you really want I will talk. It’s rare I ever seem to feel like ever showing any kind of feelings I have.” Keeping his eyes closed, he gave a light snort.

"No, I won't. I promise you I won't, Rahu," Aruna said gently. She had found her inner focus when he broke her spirit--and she had accepted. She had been stubborn, not wanting to believe anything and had denied so much for so long--and then tonight happened. She accepted everything and now was the time to confess truthfully for the both of them. "Would you... please?" she whispered, looking away and toward the stream. "I... I actually want you to talk this time." She felt like any other mare... it... sucked. That was the only word for it. She hated this. "I know it's rare you ever show any feelings. You can trust me, though, Rahu. I promise I won't let anyone know you were like this... besides Delano, of course, since... he kind of got here when both of us were... um, fighting," she said, trying to add a bit of humor, though knowing she wasn't quite succeeding.

Rahu lifted his head to look at the streams water. He knew he could hold nothing against Delano and now did not though they did fight. “Of course since you seemed to have replaced me with him.” He then snorted a little and continued to look at the streams water. “Anyways I don’t even know what I could even start to say to you. I been torn inside and out already enough.”

"Re... Replaced..." she repeated, sounding stunned. "Rahu... I love him. With all my heart, yes, before you ask. But... he could never replace you." Delano never could. The two were too different. Always, Rahu would have a special place in her heart (he was her first love, after all) but she had moved on. Things had been so complicated, so difficult... "...I've just... moved on. Things have been so problematic--you can agree yourself. We've both been through so much turmoil, it's amazing we haven't just killed ourselves to be rid of the pain. But I've had help--more than I could ever ask for. I want to help you, Rahu.
"...We're best friends, aren't we?" She pretty much grew up with Rahu--however, although Rahu was now considered her best friend, she had her best mare friend--Astia--to help later on. "I know you've been torn inside and out--as have I. But... you know you can trust me. If anything bad ever happened to you besides what... I've... done... I could never forgive myself. Delano--he means so much. He's helped us both, you know. Are you sure you don't want him to heal your knee? It'll be infected if you don't heal it soon."

“Don’t worry about my knee it should be fine since after all it’s only a bite wound.” Rahu then gave a sigh and laid his head down again. “Delano helped both of us no. he helped you , all he did for me is beat me down and show that I’m even more of a fool then what I was. You hardly have done anything to me. I caused most of the problems with my stupidity and all you even did was try to bring out the different side to me that I hide from everyone.” Giving another sigh it was true she was the only one he ever really ‘talked’ to in this manor. “All I guess I could say is that I pushed you away for personal reasons I never told you or anyone. And I never actually intended for things to happen they way they did.

Aruna raised her brow at him. "Oh, really, it's just a bite mark?" Sighning, she took the cloth gently off his knee, expression contorted into a disgusted and worried look as she cleaned off the cloth in the stream and then threw it away. "I can't clean it with the same thing again because it'll cause an infection." She sighed, annoyed. "I wish I knew more about how to heal and help your wound. Unfortunately, I don't know a lot... it's the one thing that I hate, because I don't know enough.
"I..." her voice faded as the rest of what he said registered. "...A fool," she quoted, and gave an exasperated sigh. "We both were, in a way. But you..." She narrowed her eyes in frustration. "It feels like I've done a lot to you, though! The way you... argh. Stupidity... I feel like I should agree with you but I also feel like that if I do I'll only make it worse. You've truly stumped me on this one this time, Rahu." Aruna nuzzled him to comfort both herself and him, surprising herself at the same time. "You know what? I'll lay here and listen to you.
"You need someone to rant at, and I know I'm the only one patient and strong enough right now to withstand your ranting. So... rant," she finished, sighing as she scooted closer and until she could lay her head across his back. "I'm here, Rahu--I'm here for you, always. Listening... After all, I grew up with you... so, you're my long time best friend. I'm here." Although Astia was her best friend, Rahu was more of one than ever, because she felt like she knew him the best even though she knew him as little as possible. If that made any sense.

“As I said it will be fine it just looks bad then hat it really is and I know how to take care of it. I been in plenty of fights to know how to or I would not be here now.” He was then at a loss for words as she had nuzzled him and then came close, laying her head across his back. Apart of him was telling him to get up and just push Aruna away but another part told him he should just continue to lay there with her. “There’s nothing I could even think about ranting about that you don’t know about already. But I guess there’s something I do want to say but I rather not.” giving a heavy sigh, he just laid there and closed his eyes. He knew that this would be most likely the last time he would ever be so close with Aruna and would keep his moment in his heart.

"Okay, okay. If you say so," she breathed softly. He was warm, just like Delano. It was too bad he had to make himself appear so cold; he had almost gotten her, the fool. She smiled, but quickly hid it, though she knew he probably wouldn't see it anyway. She needed to hurry back to Delano... staying here any long would make her heart ache to stay... and she... was in love with two stallions. Such a fun situation, huh, Aruna? You're in love with two stallions. "I know. But sometimes it's just better to let it out... if you keep it inside... well, we both know what that's like."
Aruna found herself thinking that if Rahu ever met any other mare and thought her to be special, she would be both jealous and envious... for that mare alone had gotten Rahu. She knew she couldn't leave Delano--she loved him too much to just let him drop like that--but... Rahu. He was her first love. She could move on... but she wasn't so sure she could let him go. Rahu was so strong--he could let her go... but... would she ever let him go? Her mind was in turmoil again. No. She had promised she would leave him with a free mind...
