Survival horror. Silent Hill, Siren, etc...monsters and big guns, that's all I need for some good gamin'. Jk I like rpg's alot too....and arcade games, classic ones.

RyoBeat Zeusthunder is it good? i saw a preview of it on cable, and it looked really sweet. that's half the reason i'm getting an xbox. the other half is halo. and the other other half is kotor. Three halves? that's besides teh point. and i am gonna get sims before fable since i don't have an xbox yet, but i obviously have a computer.

Oh yeah!! I have a new favorite game. whee Castlevania: Lament of Innocence. Sure, it plays a hell of a lot like Devil May Cry, but it's a fun game. I've actually never played any of the other Castlevania games before, and since this one is the prequel to all the others, it was kind of fun not having to check up on back stories and such.

Anyways, I was wondering if you all had any ideas for an actual videogames. I'm not saying post all the information to make the game- just a little summery for us to read. For example: I came up with a game where the main plot is merely living out life in high school.

Well, I own a PSone,PS2,Xbox,gamecube, and gameboy SP. I love all RPG gamer. Like all Final Fantasy ( FF7 is the best), Legend of legaia 1 and 2. Legend of Dragoon, and ever quest. And my favorite game of all time is all the resident evil games. I also like Donkey Kong. Cant wait until the DK bongo game comes out. I was playing it today at the store. Its hella tight!!!!

i haven't posted here. i have been a gamer nearly all my life. i first played Super Mario Bros. at the age of 2, and i never looked back.
i'm more a Game Boy fan boy more than anything. the last console i owned was my Super NES. boy do i regret selling it. the Genesis was great, but only because of the Sonic games.
i have owned every incarnation of the game boy at some point or another. except for the GBASP. that thing made me mad. i bought my GBA and i was all happy. i waited a long time before i got it, too. (i was poor. no, really. don't laugh.) then 6 months later, GBA "Second Purchase" came out. i wasn't about to buy a new game boy so soon. so i still have and use my GBA. i sometimes use my girl's GBA SP sometimes. it's fun to play Namco Museum on that thing.
as far as genres go, i heart platform games and arcade classics. i like them because they are elegant in their simplicity. it's wonderful. arcade classics especially. put me in front of a Dig Dug or an Asteroids machine, give me fistful of quarters, and i'll be very happy.
platformers are great, because they're a little simplistic, but every now and then you still sit on the edge of your seat, screaming at the screen trying to beat that certain level. grr.
i am also a big fanboy of the Pokemon games. those games have a stronghold on me. they are good quality RPGs. it's kind of a shame the gaming community never really gave them a fair shake.

Well...I've been a gamer for a long time. Since I was 4. I had an Atari. Then there was the SNES (with my favs being the Donkey Kong Series, Super Metroid, and Legend of Zelda) and a Playstation 1 (FF7, Star Ocean:tSS and Chrono Cross) and then PS2 (FFX and Kingdom Hearts) and then a GBA (FFTA, the only game I have although I am looking forward to getting into Pokemon). I am totally in love with RPGs. Final Fantasy 7 rocks! Any FF rocks! I am also a Square/Squaresoft/Square Enix fangirl. So I've played stuff from Secret of Evermore and Super Mario RPG to FFX-2 and FFTA. ^_^ I am waiting to get (for I am broke) Star Ocean:TtEoT and Disgaea. I have the Baldur's gate Series for the PC, as well as KoToR (but I don't have a video card for it!! crying ).
