I dont hate the germans, I just get nervous when I hear people speaking in German cause, no offense to anyone, its not exactly the most positive sounding language. To me they always sound angry when they speak, but thats just me.
which is why rammstein is so popular (among heavy metal fans)

and french sounds snobbish. anyone got any other examples?

I always wanted to take hebrew in school
Like I can read it as prayers, but I would always like to of learned it to actually have conversations, or maybe greek. Greek is good too

and french is also extremely similar to hebrew (from a grammatical perspective. the conjugation system is also nearly the same)

well, lashon hakodesh and ivrit (old and modern hebrew) are really two different beasts... they're not really the same language.

THAT ANNOYS ME SO MUCH! People will mention something German and when I walk in to the conversation they go, oh wait you have Germans. I almost want to strangle them.

I understand not all Germans are like that so I do not hate all Germans..

What is with that STEREOTYPICAL STATEMENT?!

I have absolutely nothing against Germans, so I would have to agree with jyu that that is probably a misconception. This probably would be from the fact that some Jews are hesitant about the new pope, but that's just because he was a Nazi.
If i posted this anywhere else, i would tick of countless people Our new pope confesses: I thought the ireon cross was a catholic youth group
I don' know any Jews who hate germans, but once we(jewish school feild trip) drove past facist fest 'o5 and were scared so bad that my freind almost cried

Today, many of the slang words in hebrew are either from arabic, russian or english. I wonder how that happened? rolleyes xd .

My friends here play a card game called... errr, another word for donkey then add the word "hole" xd . They don't even know what it means... it makes me grimace every time I hear "Yay! Now I'm the ----------". Actually I think the ORIGINAL name of the game was president... sweatdrop . I'm tired of hearing everyone playing a game that it's name itself suggests a vulgar use of swear words xd .
