The thought shook him. What if... Samuel didn't get there in time to pull the plan?
His head could be already felt away from his neck.

The proposal wasn't one that he could believe easily. And, it'd be even harder to pull.

Isabella decided she was brave enough to say what she said next.
"You might as well just kill me now then. I don't want to play head games, or sit here and wait to die. Be a man...Do it."
She uncrossed her arms and put them straight out on either side of her. She really did not want to be toyed with before she died, or just sit there and wait. It was better to get it over with now.

At those words, he threw a dagger at the woman, barely missing. A few strands of her hair fell as the knife sang through the air.
"I may be an assassin by name, but... listen well my words. I've never killed anyone, and I won't stain my hands with your blood".
His breathing had sped up, and he was now sweating...

She flinched greatly, and was glad he had missed... "So you're going to let my blood be on someone else's hands? How very nice of you." Isabella recrossed her arms, eyes flashing.

Falling to his knees, his heart skipped.
For once, he was really afraid. Not when the guard almost finds him, nor when Isabella almost shouts. Nor now, when he could have not missed her.

Isabella sits down on the bed, arms still crossed.
"Well, let me know when you figure it out.." She said flatly. She had sympathy for him, but she didn't want to show it. She wanted to run up and hug him and tell him everything would be okay, but she just couldn't. The sympathy must have shown in her eyes, if not her entire body.

He tried to smile with those word, but he couldn't do more than a minuscule smile. Everything was falling apart. Why? Because of a princess. Because of that princess that was human.

"...we're in a problem, princess... well, rather me. I'm dead now. I could take a pair of guards down, but not the whole army outside".
He ran hastily for his sword, and unsheated it. If he was going down, he would take as many as possible with him.
