architect_eyes Oh, I wanted to say something about 'antidisestablishmentarianism': One time, my dad and brother and I were playing Hangman. My brother and I were about, ohhhhhh... about 6 and 7 respectively. My dad put antidisestablishmentarianism as the word to guess... And when we didn't get it right, he wondered why the hell we couldn't guess it. It was really mean. It's why I never play games with my dad anymore - he's a sore loser and he's too competitive. I'm also wayy to competitive for my own good and that's why we sometimes avoid playing games anywhere, online or in real life o.o And it should be available on Satellite because that's how I get my Discovery Channel...we get the link-up from the UK/Europe...but then again it may only be for satellite users only o.o

The_Angel_of_Music 95% of your genes are identical to a Rhesus Monkey's. 50% of your genes are identical to a banana's. Now how's this for irony! My real name (really really) is Illana and it rhymes with banana...so I'm 100% related to a banana xp

I lost the post about the cats and girl ginger cats being rare! Therefore I shall post here miss neko razz
Calico cats aren't into the category of "females are rarer than males, etc"
It only applies to Ginger cats and "Moggy" cats as the crazy cat lady states o.o

I found a random article on one of the communities I'm a member of on LJ and as random the topic is, I thought it was rather interesting! lol! Copy + Pasting cos I can ^,^
The toothbrush as we know it today was not invented until 1938. However, early forms of the toothbrush have been in existence since 3000 BC. Ancient civilizations used a "chew stick," which was a thin twig with a frayed end. These 'chew sticks' were rubbed against the teeth.
The bristle toothbrush, similar to the type used today, was not invented until 1498 in China. The bristles were actually the stiff, coarse hairs taken from the back of a hog's neck and attached to handles made of bone or bamboo.
Boar bristles were used until 1938, when nylon bristles were introduced by Dupont de Nemours. The first nylon toothbrush was called Doctor West's Miracle Toothbrush. Later, Americans were influenced by the disciplined hygiene habits of soldiers from World War II. They became increasingly concerned with the practice of good oral hygiene and quickly adopted the nylon toothbrush.
Some other interesting toothbrush facts:
The first mass-produced toothbrush was made by William Addis of Clerkenwald, England, around 1780. The first American to patent a toothbrush was H. N. Wadsworth in the 1850's. Mass production of toothbrushes began in America around 1885. One of the first electric toothbrushes to hit the American market was in 1960. It was marketed by the Squibb company under the name Broxodent.

^|| Okay that settle's it. If I ever time travel to the past I'm definitly packing a toothbrush. Anyways, on to the random facts that I have. I am typing this while having a headache and tiredness. So, excuss any spelling errors. Actress Luccile Ball went on television and, said in an interview that she heard music through her mouth[fillings]. Mythbusters has tried to recreate the effects. They used gold and, the regular metal for fillings. However, couldn't get a signal through the teeth on any frequency. There has been no documented case of anyone human seeing a gaint squid alive. The documented cases of seeing gaint squids by humans are all already dead. There are people that are lined up for Star Wars Episode III right now at the chinese theater. Last time I checked Star Wars III isn't even officially showing at the chinese theater. I read thier FAQ and, they're aware of this yet, they continue to stand in line. Why? They're hoping to prosuade George Lucas or Fox to show the movie there. Thier FAQ. cool

There was once an old woman who had a stroke in the middle of the night and constantly heard the "Top 20 countdown" from when she was a teenager playing in her head...Doctors were puzzled until they realized she had the stroke which damaged a part of her brain (I forgot which, probably the Hippocampus) along with other elements and damage...which made her hear the music razz And I think the squid one is funny...pretty ironic but insanely funny...~appreciates the irony of things muchly ^,^~
