Re's paws fell silently on the earth as he trecked from the river to where his precious Analae and their cubs were to be found. It had been a while since the cubs were born, and they were growing nicely. Aiyanna seemed to be innocent, and then malicious... Re wondered if there was an internal war waged within her little pink body. Kemosiri was harsh, and rude, often ignoring Re or Analae. Naolin was a sweetie, and Re was growing quite protective of her...

Naolin looked up to Analae with a hopeful look, getting a chuckling reply. "Why don't you go introduce your friend to your father first, then you can show Solstice around." she said, turning her gaze back, to see Re coming closer. A larger smile formed on her muzzle at this.

Solstice stopped bpunding around and sat beside Naolin, looking to where Re was. He was a little surpised of how she looked a lot like her dad. "You think your dad it going to like me?" he whispered to Naolin.

Re nuzzled Analae, a purr erupting from his throat. "And my little sunrise, come here..." Re called to Naolin, licking her affectionately. "And whom might this strapping your lad be?" Re was kind, but he was wary of the boy. Yes, he was young, but sooner or later he would grow, and with two daughters to worry about, Re wasn't sure what to think.

Naolin nodded to Solstice, then stepped to her dad, nuzzling against his paw. "Father, this is Solstice, one of my friends. I met him when I..." she began, then slowly continued. "...Wandered off for some play..." she said, and heard a sigh from Analae, but she ignored it. "Solstice would like to live here with us.

Re grinned. "Would he now?" Re turned from his daughter to the male called Solstice. "Is that true, young sir?" If the cub was alone, Re had every intention of taking him into his home, but he wanted to hear it from the cub.

Solstice had never been so afraid in his little life, but he didn't show it. He looked Re in the eyes as he anwsered, which oddly enough calmed him down a bit. " Yes Sir. I would like to live here. My own family abandoned we while I slep as they feared the two-leggers marks on me would bring bad luck to the whole pride. I have been traveling on my own, looking for a place I would be welcomed and I met your daughter who offered me a place here. I would be blessed if you allowed me to stay here."

Re smiled and lifted a paw to ruffle the boy's fur. "You are welcome here, Solstice. Your misfourtune will be our luck." He did not beleive in any curses other than the ones from Egypt, and he knew what Egyptian Hyroglyphics looked like, and Solstice was not a cursed lion.

"You're quite welcome, Solstice." He shifted his amber gaze to Naolin. "Go on, show him around!" re said in an almost scolding manner, then smiled at her so she knew he was just kidding.
Kemosiri sat in the shade of a tree, glaring out at the new male. He wasn't sure he was going to like this new cub.
Aiyanna sat next to Kemosiri, rubbing her eyes eith her paws, since she had just woken up. "Kemo... what's goin' on?" She asked befre stifling a yawn with a pink paw.

Solstice was a little confused on how Naolin's family seemed to work. He was so used to being put down and glared apon that he just thought it was normal. He'd never seen how a real loving family worked, and seening Naolin's family finally made him see how bad his was...But he didn't say anything about this...He couldn't, he didn't want to. He just hid his thoughts with a smile and spoke to Naolin. "I can't wait to see the lands on this pride." he said getting up. "Let go!" he said chreefully to her.

Naolin giggled. "Alright Solstice, lets go!" she said, tugging on his ear lightly to make him fallow her. She led him around, over to the river. "This is just the river... I want to go swimming in it really bad, but mommy wont let me. She says its to dangerous at my age." she said.

Solstice looked into the clear waters, seeing a couple of small fish flee from his presences. "Whoa! I can see why you want to swim in it!" he looked up to her. "I wan to too..But...I can't swim...Hey, I bet when we're older, we'll both be pros at swimming!" he stated to her.

Naolin smiled. "Yeah..." she said softly as a reply, as she gazed in the water, only now noticing that she looked different, a little.. Older. "Solstice! I've grown! Look!" she said, jumping to turn and look at him.

Isis looked around she hadn't been here for awhile, she hadn't seen her albino friend they parted their ways awhile back. So Isis had came back she hoped Shiro would come back later on, she let out a roar signaling her prescence she wondered if she would still be welcomed here as nicely as she was the time before.
