Mr. Kennedy Loli Kyr Mr. Kennedy, you're in this guild too? Oh yeah, my favourite horror movie, (If I haven't posted it already) would have to be, and probably always will be, The Amityville Horror, or Saw. Just joined ^_^. Great flicks. How is the REmake? Good.

drowning_in_blood Psycho is the highest rated (#25 on imdb's top 250 list) and most "Hitchcockian" (10/10) Silence of the Lambs is second! It pwns! (10/10) Jaws is 3rd! smile (8/10) I didnt finish Manhunter, but it was good. The wheelchair scene was scary! eek (?/10) On imdb, Indiana Jones: Temple of Doom was considered a horror. (8/10) Would Jurassic Park count? (8/10) I didnt think The Village was half-bad. Not much of a horror, though....(7/10) blaugh

I'm a huge fan of the Zombie genre. Romero's "Dead" series is excellent. Not only are they fun on graphic effects and suspense level, they also make you think...about pretty much everything you take for granted.
I'm also a huge fan of the Hellraiser series, which is my overall favorite series. Although, I didn't tihnk too highly of Hellworld, Inferno was my favorite- by and far.
My second favorite genre are Werewolf movies, they are easy to write, but hard to execute. Most commonly you get good stories, bad but monsters. But when it's done right, this genre is on point. My favorite werewolf movie is Dog Soldiers.
Some indiviviual films that I thoroughly enjoyed are House of 1000's corpses. (I dig that early horror movie homage feel.)Argio's Demons (A dmon story that felt kind of like zombie movie...good stuff.) Pumpkinhead. TCM (I liked the original and the remake.) And Nightbreed.

I don't really have a favourite. It's hard to love a Horror film.
But the ones that I enjoy watching over and over are Suspiria and Phenomena. And they get to me every time.

MathusRayn I like Dawn of the Dead (new version) There's another movie I really liked to... The Comet maybe? Help me out here, guys. A comet passes through the earth's atmosphere and turns a bunch of people to dust. Some people are turned to zombies, and some arent affected. The main characters are two sister (one in a cheerleading outfit) and a trucker who also played Chakote on Star Trek: Voyager. LOL The Comet rocked!! I havent seen that in ages!!

My favorite Horror movie of all time is Demon Wind. Don't worry, no one else has seen it either. Its a cheesy 80's b horror movie that is rated one of the worst horror movies ever made. I don't know why I like it so much.
I DO know I'd give my left nut to get a copy of it.
I also love They Live, All the Romero zombie flicks, The Evil Dead trilogy, Pumpkin Head, and countless Stephen king book-->movie remakes.

4) Aliens
5) A Nightmare On Elm St.
