"Eep... I hope it doesn't trouble them... too much."
Sky Dance sighed, her small cub form perched on Rounce's back, sparkling eyes, eager with curiosity, watching the territory ahead of her. What awaited her now? Gentle acceptance? Or cold rejection? Whatever way it would be, the wind chasing youngster wouldn't be going anywhere even if she was forbidden of entering the pride. Sky Dance'd find somewhere on the surroundings and stay there, not willing to let go of her dearest friend.

Tala, who had been asleep mind you, flew about four feet in the air at the roar. "good god...Ballad...scare the shizz out of me...geez." he grinned, so the new cubs had been born...cool. He jumped off his rock and trotted toward the den. A second roar caught his attention. Ah...Rounce was back...what timing...He smirked at the spot of blue on Rounce's back...he brought a friend? whew...another new member? the pride was gettin bigger. He spotted Ballad, looking very proud, and approached him. "Ballad..." he gave a bow, " How are they?"

Ah, it was a beautiful dayt, and sumner thought of the fortune it held. His love and he were meeting!
Or had he counted wrong? Now that he considered the days, it had seemed like a long while, but had not been. Still two days...
With a glance aroun, he trotted away from the den and past the borders...

Ballad smiled at Tala. "They are well." A rumble of a purr filled him. Such Pride! He had a beautiful new family, and three lovely adult children, a healthy pride. Everything was going well. Cocking his head, he wondered at Rounce's friend, and nodded. "You may go see them if you like Tala, I must go greet Rounce and his friend." With a smile the king bounded off, running to the border with a steady graceful gait. "Rounce, welcome home. And who is this?"
((More comming! Tomorrow?))

Rounce grinned and bowed, careful not to throw his passenger off-balance. "Well, sir... This is my best friend. King Ballad, meet Princess Sky Dance. She lost her family a while back, and I sort of... promised her she could stay here?" His voice got soft as he talked, afraid of disapproval.

"Princess SkyDance?" Ballad echoed. "Ah, your elder sister SunStar is well known to me, and a great friend of my children." He turned to Rounce, tilting his head. He smiled gently. "She is more than welcome among us, if she is a friend and in need of a home." He turned, leading the way back to the Den. "Whistle has just given birth to another four royals, two princes and two princesses." He tossed a smile over his shoulder, pride apparent in his eyes. "Nothing could make me happier than to welcome a new member to the Pride on such a day as this."

Tala gave an excited nod, and slowly walked into the den. He smiled at Whistle, and the 4 cubs. They made him feel old, and he was still young! 4?! wow...plus Rounce's new friend...the pride as gettin alot bigger...

Whistle lifted her head, smiling gently at Tala when he entered the Den. She was tired, but happy, for curled to her side were four new kits. She nuzzled them gently and curled around them a little more, turning her attention to the cub that approached. "Hello Tala, did you come to meet the new royals?" She asked in a gentle voice. "Come closer, its alright.

Tala was quite nervous. He'd never been around newborn cubs before. He came closer, as quietly as he could. He took in the 4 cubs, looking them up and down. A white cub, a famale, giving off a innocent, calming aura. A black male, who seemed as though he was of evil. A light blue-ish colored female, who seemed a protector, and a purple male, who look almost exactly like his mother. He dipped his head in a bow toward Whistle, and sat close enough to look at the cubs, but not so close as to make their mother nervous. No wonder Ballad was so proud...they were beautiful.

Whistle smiled at the cub and nosed each kit in turn, listing off their names. "Sunisra, Aveshar, Reykuri and Kelakohr." As she nuzzled them, Reykuri wriggled her way between Aveshar and Sunisra, pushing her brother away as she curled against her sister.

Sky Dance's lips were pursed in a nervous smile, bowing her head to Ballad as Rounce paid his respect as well. It had indeed been a while since she had last stepped in a pride, so felt rusty in terms of the due manners she should uphold. However, not even such barrier held her from beaming with joy at the mention of her sister, an ear to ear grin lighting her face. Before anything spilt out of her lips, though, the word 'welcome' rolled out. "Oh thank you, thank you King Ballad, sir!! I'll do my best in, well, whatever I can help with!"
With the excitement, the cub flopped down to the floor, slipping from Rounce's back and falling on her back. Quickly, Sky Dance stood back on her feet, smilling embarassedly. Oh, what a happy day!

Ballad turned and grinned. "You are most welcome among us SkyDance, and perhaps you will see SunStar should she chose to visit! That would be quite a reunion." He chuckled, then resumed his treck toward the Den. "Come then Rounce, Sky Dance, I'll introduce you to the newest of the Royals, and my lovely Queen.. And beyond that, perhaps we can find the other royals to introduce themselves around dinner..."

"Yes, Sir. Oh! How are the new ones? Getting along well I hope." He smiled at the thought of more cubs. He did enjoy teaching cubs simple warrior skills, maybe he could do so with the new royals?
He nudged Sky's shoulder urging her not to stray far from his side until she knew the lands. He knew she could care for herself, but he couldn't help worrying.

Ballad smiled, heart lifting at the thought of his new children. "They are wondrous... Whistle is doing well, and we couldn't be happier about our beautiful family... Their elder siblings are grown, and have taken to wandering, so its nice to have cubs in the den once more..."

Whistle paced around her den, furious as her heart keened. One of her cubs was missing! Not long after being born, so young, and gone! The trio still slept deeply, two girls and an indigo boy with their mother's heart in their paws.. But it was the black son she worried about.. The dark one.. The one who was missing... Striding to the mouth of the den she roared, an urgent call. "BALLAD!" Shifting from paw to paw, she prayed he would hurry.
Ballad paused as he listened to his Queen's worried voice, then glanced at the newcommers... "If you don't mind, my lady has need of me..." He gave an apologetic bow of his head and sprinted off.
