Get the actual games people! If all you're gonna do is play them on PC then you shouldn't really be complaining about people not bothering to make/translate them. But yeah, I prefer games on the console. I can do some funky stuff with the emulator but the achievements don't mean as much.

Hehe, well if they would have a ps2 game in english for Zoids or a ps1 game... I would totally buy it. But from what I heard Japanese Ps games can't be played on American consoles.
Also I actually like playing the game in Japanese. True that I don't understand anything that's going on... but it's still fun. biggrin

There are only two games to get though! If I import the others, that still won't help them get translated. xd Either way it sucks.
Yeah, you need to get a special... thingy to play imported games on the larger consoles. I suddenly cannot remember the correct term. x_x; It kills the warranty though if you install it. That's all I know. x_x;

Everything I emulate, I own, but you knew that already...though I'll probably make an exception for the NES games when I run out of GBC ones to walkthroughifiy.
I don't mind playing in Japanese, I can usually figure out the basic idea of what's going on...with a lot of flailing. But the flailing is fun, except when I accidently sell good items or delete my self-healing.

A couple bits confused me (typos? I caught a couple others), but it's a generic intro thing. Rough guess:
6 thousand light years away from earth...the planet Zi. On this planet's central continent, the Republic and Empire keep fighting. The governers of both countries, President Helic and Emperor Zenebas, are actually brothers, though on the basis of a slight misunderstanding (HAH), the direction of this war could not help...something about tragedy...argh!
In the year ZAC 2038, the Republic began a general offensive against the Empire. Zenebas and the army disappeared completely from the continent.
And now, the year is ZAC 2041...
This is followed by the "counterattack" bit of the title, yes?

For a PS2 you can use either a mod chip or a swap disc to play import games, swap disc not damaging the warranty which for the record lasts a single year :p
I've also been playing games in Japanese since I was 7, stumbling through it isn't too bad xp Seriously though, if you are going to emulate something you don't own you shouldn't really complain about a lack of games whether in English or Japanese. By emulating a game you're very much likely not going to buy it and whether Japanese or English, you're undermining the support the game has and doesn't make it likely that they'll try so hard to make a decent game if they try to make them at all.
I own VS III and Tactics, I might've got Infinity and I'm looking at getting Full Metal Crash as well as VS II. Play games on your PC as much as you want, just don't complain to me about the state of the industry afterwards :p

As for game stuff... yeah... I would love to get my hand on Tactics, though I'm sure it'd kill me. Unfortunately I don't even have the system for it. XD; Jammer is WAY out of touch in the gaming world.
Hn... I have FFIV on my computer... and I wanted to buy the recent GBA rerelease of it, but I heard it's rather glitchy. D= Saaaad! I'll never finish that game...

It's detailed in a part of History of Zoids that I'm not up to yet, but it's more a bunch of issues that built up over time that led to all the hatred between those two.

There have been games for Gameboy... Gameboy Advanced... Nintendo DS... Playstation 2... X Box... and a few ooold ones for the original Nintendo Entertainment System. I can help with the two Game Boy Color titles, I've played both to completion (including after-story stuff, though not the Pokedex-like things...YET) and am working on finishing up a guide to the first before moving to the next one.
Other than that I'm pretty useless, though I plan to poke the NES games sometime soon. They really need walkthroughs too from what Jammer was saying...however much people care about something that old. But there's plenty of Saga guides and Vs. guides, so...
