I like yaoi because...well...for me, a guy, it's the 'what if...' part of it. The thrill of the forbidden relationship. The secrecy, the love, the smothered passion.
Yeah...I'm not gay but...sometimes, reading/watching yaoi...I wonder... ninja

I honestly have no idea why I love yaoi as much as I do. I have thought about it obsessively and I still haven't come up with an answer.
Maybe it has something to do with my pervertness and my general bixsexuality. I love all!
Lust has no gender. Neither does love.

Well I like yaoi because it shouldn't matter your gender! You should be able to-- you know, even if it's guy on guy. Or at least that's my opinion... Oh and also, it's mad HOT!!!

It really is the same thing, when a straight guy watches regular hentai, and a gay guy watches yaoi. I like yaoi because it's normal for me. UNLIKE THOSE GODAMN HOMOPHOBES WHO THINK THAT GAY GUYS ARE DISGUSTING.

I like yaoi for many reasons.
1) It's hot (can't deny it)
2)It feels more special than the regular guyXgirl relationships, because they can understand eachother better
3)I used to be a total homophobe before I liked yaoi. When my sister told me what it was (now how did SHE know? stare ) I was completely disgusted. Then I looked it up, and HOO BOY! There's a lot of stuff on it! Then I saw some sasunaru stuff, and I got into it. Now I am completely accepting, and I am beginning to discover my own true sexuality (I believe I am bi.)

Hm, why do girls like yaoi? Well, to put it simply, not all girls like yaoi. a lt of girls are actually squicked by the idea ('cause they're strange, and don't know what's hot D smile But, basically, if you want to look at it from the perspective of guys liking yuri, guys think 1 girl good, 2 girls better. Same thing here, 1 guy good, 2, 3, or even 4 guys better biggrin
Besides, speaking from a personal point of view, if the boys are with each other, more girls for me biggrin It works nicely ^_~
So I guess you have to look at it from all angles, because there's not really going to be one straight (no pun intended) answer for something involving the personal opinions of a huge group in the world. Especially yaoi loving women. It's not supposed to make sense, honey *patpat* It just... is. So don't sweat the small stuff, and just be glad that there's so many people interested in it that it's widely available at your leisure~

Well I like it so much because i like seeing cute guys and sometimes detest the main girls that get with the cute guy. I mean when there's two hott guys than it's no problem. I love them and i'm like. holy s**t there so kawaiiiii. So yea. I just like it and ever since my cousin interduced me to it I was f'n hooked rofl

Fenris Von Uberwald the_nameless_1 yes it is but that is the reason so u dont think that is wrong, wouldnt you rather see a guy and a girl go'n at it? nah! ordinary hentai bores me! so true! what made me love yaoi and everything (other than I'm bi but that didn't really influence it) Anyways i like it over hentai because its different, unique and refreshing! smile come on people, theres hentai everywhere in real life so can't anyone have their own fantasies. I just really like it and I cant really put in words.

I actually don't like slash because it's hot, since my libido is the size of a pea.
I like it because these shows always show so much chemistry between two males, and barely any between the boys and girls. The interaction in het couples is usually plain and dull, like:
"Hay thar, u have teh woman parts and i have teh mens. We is cuple."
"TOTALLYS. LETS HAVE HOT DRAMAS."
But then the relationships between the men just go so much deeper, and I'm a total sucker for romance and relationships. And I like het and yuri, too. It all depends if the relationship is interesting and deep.
