((Once lazy Niki finishes her kid, of course... ^^" Sorry, I just haven't been in the mood to sit in front of my comp and color. And I'm having to fight for what little internet time I get... *sighs*))

Nikiana blinked. She knew what it was! It was simple. "Triangletriangle!" She shouted... a little too loudly for what was needed. Grinning broadly, she grabbed her toes and rocked back and forth in place a bit. Wasn't she so smart?

Bored Vinny pointed to the Triangle shape. This was easy, he already knew all of this. His had taught him.
((Woo! Grow those kids... then we can get into action!))

((Eh... almost finished with those kids... Sorry... not been in much of a mood to color lately... maybe I'll get them finished in the next few days that my computer is directly linked to the internet because our main computer got fried today when we lost power for FOUR AND A HALF FREAKIN' HOURS!!! *sighs* That long with no air conditioning in 90 degree weather is not fun...))

Nikiana blinked. Just... triangle? So it wasn't triangletriangle? Was the circlecircle not that but... a circle? And what about the squaresquare? Was it possible that it was just... a square...?

((*does the same* I dont think I missed much either... but I'm still checking... *does one last toddler post*))
Parmida blinked when the teacher changed "shapes" then jumped when the girl next to her shouted "Triangletriangle!" Her heart was racing loudly for a moment before she calmed down enough to hear the teacher telling them to go home and "work" on their "shapes". Home! Food! PLAY! She tried to stand up, but her feet got tangled somehow and she fell down instead. She sighed. No home for her...

Vinny grapped his toes and rocked back and forth on his cusioned bottom. This was boreing. The room was odd though, worthy of attention. His home was blank, there were nothing on the wall that didn't need to be there or on the shelves. Everything was dark, a faded not quite color of the sky. It was blusish like the sky if you concentrated really hard. He didn't know the color really. Even the sky was pale, not like the pictures of it in this room. True the walls were white but they had brightly color images posted all over it or places and things that Vinny didn't even know existed.
True, he had never even seen outside of the giant city walls but whispered before his bedtime were tantalizing hints of wild things that he didn't understand but were fun to listen too.
A dumpy woman ushered the toddlers outside into the bright sunlight. Vincent just followed the others a few steps to the side wonder where they were going now.
The entered a bright dormitory and waddled up stepps and into a box. When the door opened again after a strange wait they were in a diffent place. Vinny found this truely amazing.
He was ushered into a room where there were six beds. One bed was neatly made and the rest were empty except for one bed with folded cloth of a dark tree like color only more vibrant.
The matron took him over and showed him a bag of things that Vinny recognized as his and started placing them in a tower of boxed next to the nearly empty bed.
The brown haired boy that had sat next to the girl who had pulled out his hair toddled in and stared at him. He frowned and Vinny frowned back.
Was he the one that slept in that other bed?
The matron then pulled the folded cloth apart and showed him how to make his bed. Vinny watched but kept glancing back at the other boy.
"Stop staring at Taliesan, 003," She grabbed the new tag around, "Vincent; now pay attention. I'll expect you to do this everyday on your own from now on. We have strict rules here. You do know what rules are don't you? I wouldn't expect you would being raised by a rule breaker. Now, do as I do."
She took the sheets off and gave them to Vinny who followed in a sloppy but somewhat accurate miming of her movements.
"That's pretty good, but you need to make it neater. We have your clothes in this drawer and your stuff will be in this shelf and we have a new thing for you.
"Taliesan, this is your new roommate." She said turning to the brownhaired boy. "I want you to help him out and show him around, I'm counting on you to play nice."
She turned back to Vinny. "I'm sure you two will be great friends." She then left and gently shut the door behind her. Vinny didn't know how to react, this was much, much different than his old home. He wanted to go home.

Vincent was just finishing his smoothing when Tali...something came over. He tripped and rudely yanked his nicely smoothed blanket off the bed then glared at him like it was his fault. That was not nice! That was not nice at all! Forgetting that he was supposed to play nice like the lady said Vinny rushed around the bed and yanked the blanket out of the boy's hand pushing him back to the ground as he attempted the stand.
"No!" He said quiet, but forceful. He pushed the boy again. "Go way!"
He turned his back on the boy, angry, and started to pull his wad of blanket into some semblance of smoothness like he had before. He chose to ignore the boy unless he did something else. He didn't like him, he didn't like him at all.

Time passed as it always does. Toddlers grew into children and new people came and went. Now that they were old enough they would spend the entire day at lessons. Except for today. Actually graduating from those toddler schedule meant they had the day off to celebrate.

Taliesin raced out of the room and down the stairs to the front hall. The sun was barely up but he had fixed his bed already. It was too early for most to be up as he skid to a halt in the front foyer and composed himself to waiting calmly for the rest of his group to catch up. Regardless of what they wanted he was going to try and 'persuade' Niki to help him try to get beyond the walls today.

((Woot! Everyone's grown up and gets a day off from lessons. Have fun while I figure out what *exactly* the event will be))

Vincent woke to the sounds of his rather loud roommate scuttling about loudly without regard of his sleep. What a meanie.
After the door slammed shut Vinny tried to get back to sleep but instead decided to get up and see what that trouble maker was up to. He hoped he wouldn't have to pull him out of a laundry shute again. Niki couldn't do it so he had to. What was he doing in there anyway?
Vincent dressed quickly and made his bed. He took pride in the fact that it was neater than Taliesin's and stuffed a few things in his pockets going in serch of Tali. No doubt he was with Nikiana, they were rarely seen apart.
