"I've met four others who could do it." He spoke slowly, he wasn't going to name names. "Sometimes I wonder if keyblades are as good as everyone makes them out to be. Everyone who's held one has gone through a lot of pain. Though it all started with me." Sora sighed. "Sometimes I wonder if it's all my fault. Most of the people, infact, I could say all of them, have had some horrible things happen to them."
Making his way infront of Larxene his ears lowered but he raised his head. "Wouldn't blame you if you wanted to go off on your own again after hearing that. I think that's what everyone else did anyways." Sora laughed a bit. It was an empty laugh, he was just trying to cheer himself up a bit.
Closing his eyes, Sora looked up. "You're probably right. We're not so different."

Larxene frowned slightly at the change in Sora's demeanor. She tilted her head, eyeing him and resisting the urge to put a paw on his arm. "I don't want to go off on my own," she said, sounding a bit confused. "It doesn't matter what happened before. It just matters what happens from now on, right?" She chuckled weakly, "I can barely remember what happened before now. I certainly hope it's not too important; who knows if I'll ever remember it, right?"
She paused a moment, then allowed herself to pat his shoulder with her paw. "I'm not worried about anything horrible happening to me. I can look after myself."

Sora turned and looked at Larxene. "If you're sure you want to stick around with me, you can I guess." His smile returning a bit. "I guess after everything that's happened to me and everyone making such a big deal about the past...I never really thought about it. It must have all cought up to me."
As Larxene's paw met Sora's shoulder his smile fully returned. "Okay then! I guess things are alright. Sorry about all that. But you can't bottle up emotions! It's better to express yourself, right?"
Sora stopped and looked around. "You know, we've been talking this whole time...and we've been missing our chance to look around this place like we wanted!" He laughed. "Whoops!"

Larxene patted his shoulder again, then dropped her paw. "Well, if there was ever a place not to dwell on the past, I'd say this is it, where most of us can't seem to remember the past." She chuckled a bit, obviously feeling more comfortable with that subject now. "In any case, yeah, I'm sure I'll stick around with you. You're a bit more lively than the books."
She glanced around the aisles as he laughed. "You're right! Let's keeping going then," she said, nodding and heading off into the shadows again. "Maybe we'll find a monster after all."

Sora snickered. "You'd be surprized how lively books could be. I met these monsters once, that were half-book things and did this magic and man did it hurt!"
Hearing Larxene laugh like that was refreshing, he had heard giggles and sneaky laughter from her, but nothing like that. "Hopefully the books arn't the monsters here like those other ones."
Now remembering he was still holding Larxene's book for her, Sora's curiousity of what was inside was renewed. "Larxene?" He held her book out infront of him. "What other kinds of books do you like?"

"Half-book monsters?" Larxene quirked an eyebrow. "That sounds ... dangerous. I mean, magic aside, think of the papercuts." She chuckled a little again. "I think book-monsters might be kind of interesting. I bet they'd be responsive to the lightning at the very least."
She looked at the book as he held it out, blushing slightly. "Um, well, most of the books I've been reading have been about, well, people with ... different kinds of ideas. Interesting ideas."

Sora continued to laugh. Larxene was making jokes, and funny ones at that. Well, funny to Sora, but then again most things made Sora laugh.
Sora stared at Larxene somewhat as she blushed. This made him more curious as to what exactly was in this book. "Different kinds of ideas? So is that what this book has?"

Larxene eyed the book, then smirked. "Yeah, I think that's as good a description as any. The Marquis de Sade had a lot of different kinds of ideas. He was very interested in experimenting and discovering new things."

Sora brought the book closer to him and stared at it. "And you said it might not be appropriate for me?" Sora tilted his head. "What could be inappropriate about someone sharing their ideas?"

"Personally, I don't think there's anything inappropriate about sharing ideas. Knowledge is power, after all. Just those ideas...." She tapped her chin thoughtfully. "Well, you did say you were all grown up. The ideas in there are more... well, more for adults. That's why some people might find them ... less appropriate."

Sora looked from the book to Larxene and back to the book. More for adults? "Uhm...adults also have patience. So I can wait to find out what's inside. Shall we continue our journey?" He smiled innocently. However this smile was far from innocent. He didn't want to read this book infront of Larxene now. From what she said, anything could be hidden within it's pages. If it freaked Sora out he'd make more of a fool of himself, and infront of Larxene to boot. I'll just wait til she's busy and take a peek inside it, that way if I freak out she wont see.

Larxene smirked again as he deferred looking into the book. She nodded, "Sure, we'll have to continue if we ever want to find anything." Glancing behind them, she added, "Or get back to where we were. It's probably the same distance either way, now. May as well go forward then."
The girl stepped off down the shadowy aisle again, ears perking up as she listened for any of the sounds she'd described earlier. After a moment, she paused. "Hey, look at that!" she exclaimed, darting off down one of the side branches of the aisle, into the darkness.

He kept up his innocent smile. "Y-yeah, lets keep going." Sora's nervousness showed in his tone of voice howerver, he couldn't hide that.
Following Larxene slowly as she continued on and abruptly paused when she did. "Look at wha-...Larxene wait up!" Running after her quickly he hoped very much it wasn't anything dangerious.

Apart from being mischievous and a little sarcastic, Larxene proved herself to be very fast as well. There was a trail of pawprints leading down to the end of the aisle and off around the corner, barely visible in the dim light, but no sign of the girl herself. Wherever she'd gone, she'd stopped giggling, leaving the library in relative silence.

Sora looked around. "Larxene? Come on out Larxene!" Where did she go? She couldn't have vanished...or could she? All Sora knew about was that lightning power, could she do more than that? There was absolute silence now. Nothing was moving. Sora called out again, "Larxene!?" He waited. Nothing. She left him here alone. This was...an opportunity to peek in the book! Sora smiled a small smile and cracked the cover of the book slowly. Whispering to himself, "Now to see what's the big deal over this book..."
