Sasuke had already began to look out the window, and he lost his attention towards the students entering the classroom. The teacher wasn't there yet, and so he had time to daydream for a while, as the other students made their way in.

A little blond haired girl entered the room with a group of girls, and separated from them to take her seat next to her friend, Sakura. "Good morning, Sakura-chan," she greeted in a less-than-happy tone of voice while keeping her eyes glued to the surface of their table.
Being jolted out of her thoughts, the pink-haired girl turned her head to look at the person who had spoken. "Eh -- oh, Ino-chan! Good morning!" she responded cheerfully, acting oblivious to the way Ino was acting. "What's wrong with her.. ?"

Sasuke was stripped of his daydreaming rights when a cheery familiar voice came from behind him. Curious, he slowly turned around.
He was surprised and please to find that Sakura was sitting on the row behind him. She was sitting next to her best friend, Ino. Sasuke didn't know Ino well at all, but the girl was outgoing, and sometimes really loud. Usually she was perky. However, he noticed that today, the blonde wasn't so happy looking.
Sasuke decided that it wasn't his business, so he just smiled -happy that his friend was within talking range- and turned back to the window.

Sighing, Sakura faced the front of the classroom and clasped her hands together in front of her, awaiting their sensei, Iruka, to start the lesson. She figured she could find out what was wrong with Ino either during lunch, or their next break.
The blond lifted her head slightly, glaring at the girl sitting beside her with narrowed eyes, though there was no honest hatred behind them. "Does she honestly think she can make a move on Sasuke-kun and get away with it?"
Her blue eyes softened a little. "But I can't really blame her.. she has no idea that.. I like him, too.." Almost instantly, her gaze hardened once more. "Well, if SHE can make a move on him, then so can I!"
((Are we going to be role-playing through the time they're in the classroom? o_o?))

((A little bit. xD A few moments maybe, and if nothing major happens, we cut to lunch/recess or whatever. Same things for after school. The kids get let out, if nobody has a scene, I'll forward it to the next day.))
Iruka pushed the door open to the classroom, and set down the clipboard he was holding onto his desk. He looked up at his students, and smiled when he noticed that all of the desks were full, or getting filled.
"Good morning, students. Welcome back to the Academy. I hope you all had a fun summer, and I hope that you all try your hardest to become powerful ninja someday! I'm Umino Iruka, nice to meet you all."
He sat at his desk, and looked at the clipboard. "I'm going to call roll, so I can see where your sitting, and so I can learn any new faces that we have this year."
He proceded in Alphabetal order, until the roll was complete. Then, he took a piece of chalk and started writing on the board.
"Take these notes down. You'll have a test on them next week."

When Iruka started writing the notes, Sasuke took out his notebook and pencil, and began writing. However, after the second line, his pencil snapped. "Great," he though aas he stared at his pencil. He didn't want to interupt the class and go sharpen in, so he thought about it for a while.
Then he had an idea. He turned around in his seat and whispered only loud enough so she could hear, "Sakura! Pst!"

Sakura glanced up from her own writing to meet Sasuke's eyes. Her pencil stopped moving immediately before she whispered back, "What?" Luckily, she missed the death glare that Ino shot at her the second the Uchiha said her name.

"My pencil snapped. Do you have an extra one I can borrow?" he asked softly. He lifted up his new yellow pencil, the sharp piece of graphite gone and the tip flat and chipped with tiny wood pieces.

Happy that he had asked her, she smiled in response. But as she leaned down to reach into her backpack and grab a new pencil, something beside her caught her eye.
"Oh, here you go, Sasuke-kun. I've got plenty of extra pencils," Ino stated sweetly, handing her own yellow pencil over to the raven-haired boy. "Sakura's not the only one who can be friendly to Sasuke-kun."
((Eh, I'm going to bed. x_x 'Night.))

Sasuke looked at the pencil in confusion for a second. He had asked Sakura, but Ino offered her pencil instead. To Sasuke, that seemed...nice.
"Oh. Um," He started, alowly taking the pencil from Ino, "Sakura, nevermind. Ino let me use hers. Thanks, Ino!"
He then gave both girls a quick nod and turned back to his notes, using Ino's pencil.

"You're welcome, Sasuke-kun," she retorted, scrunching her nose up a little as she smiled with confidence. She didn't even spare Sakura a quick glance as she reached into her pack for another pencil.
Sakura looked at her blond-haired friend with confusion. Why had she done that.. ? Sasuke had asked her for a pencil, not Ino. Her brows furrowed. Was Ino upset with her for something?
"No.. Ino's my friend! She would have told me." With a firm nod of her head, she went back to taking notes.

After half a day of notes, lessons, and lectures, Iruka had dismissed that class for lunch.
Sasuke was one of the first people inside the cafeteria. He grabbed one of the smaller tables; it was rectangular and had six chairs, three on each side. Sasuke sat in the middle chair on one side, and set up his lunch in front of him. There was food in the cafeteria, but many students brought their own lunch anyway.
The young Uchiha scanned his meal: A bottle of icy water, a few riceballs, and --the boy smiled-- a big ripe tomato. His mother had packed him one for good luck on the first day of school.
"I wonder if Sakura will sit with me today..." he wondered aloud. As more students filled in the cafeteria, he scanned around constantly looking for his new friend, all while taking small nibbles on his riceball.

Meanwhile...
"Neji, Neji!! Wait up!!!" shouted a running Tenten. As soon as she reached Neji she stopped for a moment to catch her breath.
"I told you to wait for me Neji. We always sit together don't we?"
Soon both of them were walking towards a small round table to sit down and eat as they had always done since their first year.
"So how was your Summer? You already know I spent most of mine at my Grandparents'." Tenten asked as soon as they were opening their lunchbags.
Neji just shrugged, "Not much. I was spending most of the time seeing if I could use Byaakugan. It only ended up with me having a headache." He just chuckled and started eating a riceball.
"Why didn't you go out to play with Lee? Speaking of which, where is Lee? He said he was joining us in class."
Again Neji shrugged and replied, "I haven't seen him much during the Summer. Last time I met up with him he said he had found his true role model. I wonder who it is."
"Me, too Neji."
After a moment of thinking, both of them just sighed and said, "Oh, well."

((What? Lunch already? Naruto didn't even enter the classroom yet XD ))
Naruto had a terrible headache. Instead of going to class, he found himself laying on the courtyard. It seems he forgot that he had class today. He kept rubbing his forehead as he looked at the clouds. How long had he been laying on the ground? He sat up and looked for a clock but he couldn't find one. So he ran out of the school courtyard and ran to the nearest person he could ask for the time. He ran into an old lady and asked her what time it is. Her reply was 'I'm not sure, but it's time for lunch'.
Naruto's jaw dropped. He ran back into school courtyard. "Arruggh.. Sensei isn't going to be happy about this."

((XD Gomen. You could've just said that Naruto had went to class anyway instead of skipping. x3 I get nervous and post things like that when an RP slows down. @_@ I'm still waiting for God to grant me patience. <3 Sorry again!))
