I LOVED IT!
Because a lot of things were revealed. :3 AND MORE NARUSAKU HINTS! *hit with bricks*
AHH! Brain damage. >.<
Being a hardcore NaruSaku fan, this episode brought mixed feelings. Nothing happened to improve SasuSaku for me. Sasuke is still a traitor. But Sakura's feelings are out in the open. She cries too much for him.
But finally, those tears are reserved for Naruto. As is the intimate smile she'd NEVER give Sasuke.
See that smile? It's for Naruto.
There it is again. Only for him.
And again! How can you resist? whee

I'm a SasuSaku fan heart but i admire the fact that you think that way ^_^ i personally dont want her to end up with Naruto but you do have a point abut the smiles sweatdrop , even so i have a feeling ( or hope however you want to put it ) Sasuke will end up with Sakura. I havent seen that episode yet but i have heard so much about it that i just cry to think about it crying

I havent seen that episode yet but i have heard so much about it that i just cry to think about it crying Me, I have the feeling she'll end up with Naruto for the sole reason he ACTUALY CARES ABOUT HER! I mean, Sasuke outrightly rejected her in the matters of love. She's done too much for him to fall in love with her. Sasuke should end up alone....He is a traitor, after all...
Plus, Naruto needs someone strong he can love. And their relationship is just so amazing! It's well developed, there's obvious care and love (friendship or otherwise) and they make a GREAT team.

but then i thought of something....all you see is Sakura laying on the bench...(i know this is far-fetched) but Sasuke could've kissed her (idk on th forehead) right before he left, you never know! X3

Though Ive never actually saw the epi. I did read about it but I think the SasuSaku pairing hasnt ended yet. I dont think so just because when Sasuke left he said 'Thank You'. So basically that would leave a new page for the Sasuke and Sakura pairing. But thats justs me since I love the SasuSaku pairing. heart redface

I loved this episode in a sad way. It showed a sort of a beginning of the end sort of thing. I mean, it started so much.
I dont see it as a hint sort of thing. It actually is a ballanced scale. It shows Sasuke has trust feelings for Sakura. Or else, he wouldnt have listened to what she had to say at all.
Then again, it showed how much Sasuke has hurt her, and showed that Naruto was there for her, to help her in anyway that he could. Even bring back the guy that she really wanted at the time.
But the significance of the episode I dont see as one to show romantic hints. I see it as just a sheer plot. Sasuke had to leave and it showed that no matter how much she cared for him that he couldnt stay. He even admitted that he thought about staying and about living in Konoha. But the truth is:
Sasuke knows that even the people that he cares about arent safe until Itachi is gone. He will do anything to make his life a living hell. More so then it already is.
And it showed how far Naruto was willing to go to make sure Sakura wasnt sad. But that wasnt the only reason. He did it for himself too. Sasuke was his best friend.
So Episode 109 was a goodbye.
And the beginning of the "Sasuke Retrieval" Saga.
Amazing episode none the less.

Considering I've cried a fair number of times whilst watching Naruto, I suppose me crying during this particular scene doesn't mean much.
But I really really love it. No one can say that Sakura is just a silly fangirl after watching that (even though my best friend does <<; ) because its not true.
Sakura was willing to give up her good conscience to go with him. That really means something.

That episode was the best Team 7 episodes. It showed how much Sasuke cared for his team, and how Sakura cherised their memory as Team 7.
NOT SasukexSakura episode, but more of a one-sided SasukexSakura.
But it was sad. I kinda did tear up in that episode, ehehe.... sweatdrop

uh yeah, my eyes started to water. and yes, there are different points of views to that episode, but i saw it as a sasusaku moment. as some of you said, sasuke rejected sakura only to keep her away from itachi so that she wouldn't get hurt. he had to do it on his own. and of course the whole sasuke acknowledging sakura's love was the best part.

The episode still brings tears to my eyes. <3 However, I cant help but wonder why Sasuke said thank you. >w< Yeah yeah, you all have your opinions, but what does KISHI want it to mean? Very interesting way to leave a person who just confessed their undying love to you, and yet, a way to move on and begin anew. <3 Very interesting indeed.
