"Thanks, Regan. Dameon did have cute genes, even if he doesn't know how to take care of children." Starry said, before turning to Luau Lulu. "I'll be back in a moment to take Shageki off your hands. He's probably hungry aswell..." she started walking off the beach and back towards her tree. Thankfully it wasn't that far from the beach, and she was able to get Junior changed quickly.
Junior stopped crying when Shageki reached for him, reaching back to the fullest extent. He was finally able to touch his brother just as Mommy walked away back home...

sweatdrop "I never did say that I was a good watcher. Raken is more suited for this." He smiled back at Regan "And thanks. Starry says that I have cute genes but i'm convinced that it's mostly hers in them." o.o wait. Where was he going?! He started crying, wiggling in Luau Lulu's arms.

Starry returned quickly, meaning to keep Luau lulu from needing to watch her children all day long. "Thanks for watching him." Starry said, taking Shageki back from Lulu. She smiled at Regan and Lulu before walking back off into the woods with Shageki in her arms, having left Junior with the sitter while she went to retrive her other son.

Luau LuLu nodded to Regan and to the couple. "You're welcome. Have a nice day, you too." She winked and waved to the two and babies. She turned back to Regan and saw Tiki Jim from the corner of her eye.
Tiki Jim nodded. "Should we go back in, Grandpa?" He asked as he paddled the board with his feet. He saw other pae's and another child on the beach.

Reira blinked passively for a moment before turning on that cute little smile again. "I'll try!" she exclaimed brightly before stepping off of the board. She picked it up again and carried it as she had seen the others do, down to the edge of the water. Having waded in a bit before, on one of her walks with Talea, she knew how to test the water with her foot. When she did so, she jumped back a bit with a startled laugh. In her opinion, it seemed a bit cold...

Hula Bob chuckled. "Yes, it is a bit cold." He then set his board on the water and then sat on it. "This is how you do it. Would you like some help?" He asked with with a wink and nod. He wasn't sure if Dameon was still wanting lessons or not, after what had happened.

Carefully, Reira let her board plop down in the water. After a moment's hesitation, she reached out and grabbed onto it. The only way she could figure to get on the board without getting drenched was to jump, so that's what she did. It worked out so-so; she ended up getting fairly wet anyway, but she was on the board successfully. "I did it!" she informed Hula Bob, as if it wasn't obvious.

Tiki Jim nodded and came to shore near the little dudette. "Aloha!" He said to her with a nod. He then stood on his board to show off a bit.
Luau LuLu watched Tiki Jim and giggled. "Yeah, I think he is. Guess it's in the blood. Your dad is doing great as well." She smiled and took Regan's hand.
"That's good. Now if you want you can stand on the board like my Granddude Tiki Jim is doing." He pointed to Tiki Jim. Hula Bob walked into the water next to Reira, in cause she needed help.

Reira waved at Tiki Jim with a large smile on her face. "Aloha!! She called back, though she didn't understand what that meant.
She laughed as she watched him show off... At least, until she was instructed to try it herself. Nervously, she watched for a moment longer. It was just like when she was standing on land, right...? Ever-so-carefully, she started to stand up on the board, not wanting her pride to be hurt by failure to make effort.
Just as she was removing her hands from the board to stand on two feet, a very mild breeze blew past her. For a moment, she felt light as a feather, but the feeling passed and she was left flailing to keep her balance on the unfamiliar surface.

Hula Bob put out his hand to help her balance if she needed it. "Careful there, dudette!" He smiled. "Almost got it, though." He nodded to her and then Tiki Jim.
"Yay! It's fun once you get it." Tiki Jim told her with a nod. He tried to show her in a slower way, that way maybe she wouldn't fall.

Reira glanced back at Hula Bob, making sure that he was still there in case she fell off the board. After reassuring herself, she turned her eyes back to Tiki Jim.
"It is fun!" she laughed. True, even though she wasn't doing so well yet, she was enjoying herself. It was exciting! She watched Tiki Jim and followed his actions, and soon she was standing on the board as well.

Hula Bob winked. "Ah, that's it! You're doing very well, dudette." He was glad that most of his students were doing well. He'd give her a bit more time before the next step.
Tiki Jim smiled. "Yeah, I like the water. It's nice and cold and fun!" Tiki Jim nodded and then sat back down on his board.

Reira positively beamed at the praise. It was always nice to make efforts and then have them pay off. She practiced her balance for a bit longer before sitting down on the board and leaned toward Tiki Jim to chat.
"And you're good at this, too! Do you come here a lot, then?" Reira began to kick her legs in the water to make tiny little splashes as she talked.
