"Yeah, sorry about making a fuss..." Kura gave a bow, then put his spear where it normally rested: on his back. He gave a small smile then sat down cross-legged. It was a friendly gesture, though if one thought in canine terms, it placed him lower than everyone else. He was attempting to look as non-threatening as possible.

She looked at Matt and grinned after she seen the wolf take a seat. "Oh look, Matt... You and him have something in common. You act like a dog and he is a dog." She was simply joking and trying to cause Matt to glare at her more than insult the boy.

Raikou arched an eyebrow as he said, "Lightning bug? All I did was practice using my elements while standing on the lake over there. I didn't use any other lightning or water past that point. The lightning must have come from somewhere else." He gave a small shrug as he then looked over at the new person and arched an eyebrow again, "And you may be?"

Kura gave a small twitch. "Ummm... no disrespect to m'lady, but I'm a WOLF, not a dog." He disliked being compared to his less intelligent cousins. He had to admit they were fun and playful... but they were extremely stupid. He watched Raikou and Smash carefully, wondering if there was going to be a point where he'd either have to jump in and try and seperate them, or flee for his life.

Mari had her bow disappear in a black mist and linked arms with Matt. "You know I was just playing." She then looked at Kura and grinned. "My mistake." Though, it wasn't. She said it on purpose, but it was in jest. Not to be offesive.

Raikou gave a small grin as he says, "I am Raikou, Raikou Ryuuisshou. Nice to meet you. Smash, is it?" He gave a small bow and then stood back up and looked over at Mari and then back over at Kura. He gave a small chuckle as he said, "I meant no offense when I was training."

*he relaxed a bit and held on to mari's arm. these newcomers seemed ok. at least they arn't looking for fights eventhough that would be fun.*

Kura's face went blank. "I just... came here? It seemed like a quiet forest to practice, so I came to practice." He looked at the small blood spatter on his chest then grunted. "'Cept something interreupted me... and then I sensed Raikou using an element I also use... so I can to this place in particular." He figured Raikou could answer for himself.

"Like what Kura said, I was using my two elements in traiing. That's where the sound of lightning came from." He shrugged slightly as he said, "Well, that's basically all that happened." He didn't want to go into what happened after that, best to stay quiet about that part.

Kura raised his eyebrow. "Ummm... thank you for the compliment, but I don't consider myself strong... simply your average shaman with a talent for ice magic." The white wolf gave a weak smile.

"Either way... You are both welcome to live in the mansion if you want. Unless, you both would prefer to live in the forest. It's honestly your choice. I don't think many people in the city would accept your kind. Most in the city are human and if they are demons, they can disguise themselves as humans." Mari was looking out for their safety mostly. Kaji wouldn't have a problem in the city, but Kura... He might be singled out.

Raikou rubbed the back of his head slightly, and chuckled nervously. "Thanks, but I'm not that strong. I've had my own helping of humble pie and I know where my strength lies."
