Dia never let her icy blue eyes tick away from the male's form as she noted the intense look of concentration etched on his brow. She was so excited! Mostly for him, but the prospect of fresh food was still for herself as well. But, when he darted his muzzle in and came back out with nothing she felt her body tense up, unsure of what to do or say.

*He only growled lowly to himself. Tanyroku had made a fool of himself. He was trying to go quickly to show off. He decided to not make that mistake again. Once more his muzzle went to just above the water. Once more he waited. Slowly fish began to swim back by him cautiously. A minute later a few were swimming by normally. Now his muzzle shot down again. His teeth clamped down. Smush, sinking into the body of the fish as it wiggled. Pulling it out she could now see the fish. It was not that big. The length of of his tail. It was as wide as a turtle though. Slowly he walked by her not saying a word and laid it down on the bank far from the water. That was a little lesson he learned before.*

Dia's icy eyes lit up like the wings of a bird against the sun and she barked out loudly. "You did it!" she announced, tail wagging hard against the water she was still in. She padded softly up against the waves sloshing against her feet and then stared down at the slimy thing.
"It sure is big," she said in near amazement, trying to make the other feel proud.

*He gloated a bit and just barked and laughed along with her. Then he walked away from her and the fish and sat down seven feet away*
"THat is too small for me. I normally eat them the size of YOU!"
*Ofcourse he lied to her but it was alright.*
"You an ave it!"

"The size of me?!" Dia barked out, quite impressed with that statement and whether or not it was believable she still found it really cool, amazing even. "Okay...Thanks!" she said, propping up on her paws a little as she finally managed to get herself out of the water. After she did that she padded her way over and took a small sniff.
"Delicious!" she announced before taking a small nibble.

*Tanryoku sat back and looked around. The smell of the fresh blood coming to his nose. His ears perked but his body stayed behind. He woudl let her eat. He knew not to press his luck with fishing. He could not possible catch another one. That was his 14th fish ever. So he would not try Instead he just waited*

Dia nibbled a bit more, but soon she let her eyes tick over to the male while she was still chewing. That's when realization hit her, why he was hanging back instead of catching one for himself. Well, that was okay. Dia had always been a light eater, almost like a little bird and so she pulled away, still huge chunks of meat hanging from the fish's slimy body.
"mmmmmm that was so good, thanks, but....I sure am full now," she said, shaking a bit and letting a grin slip to her maw at him.

*Tanryoku nodded to Dia and smiled at her. Now that the light was out, she had a pretty looking pelt. He seemed to be attracted to her. Like some kind of force pushing him to stay near her. He was strong with pride though, so he opted not to eat at the moment*
"Ight. Then ou eady to go?"

Dia felt the same sort of attraction though she was still too young to fully grasp at it yet. She loved the way the marks on his pelt contrasted with the pink and on that note she loved that despite such a feminine color this pup was fully masculine in personality. For some odd reason that made her beam inwardly. She opened her maw to voice that he should eat, but she wanted him to call the shots so instead closed it and merely nodded her head.

*His stomach rumbled again, but briefly. He would wait till the sun was ontop of the trees before he would eat. Tanryoku just looked to her and then the woods and then back to her*
"Ere are we gonna start? Where were they ast seen?"

She stared down at the pink fur around his middle when his tummy rumbled, but she didn't touch on it. Instead she flickered her ears back at his two questions, interested almost instantly. "Ohhhhhhhhh let me think," she said furrowing her eyes a bit. She moved her small head around and then nodded once, "Far from here, I don't remember much, but there weren't as many trees as there are here and....and there was more flowers..."

*He didn't know where she was talking about. But why not just walk till they Came to the place she was talking about. He jumped a bit before stretching his paws forward. Standing back up he barked and started to walking forward. There was no certain path they would take. It would just be the journey of two small pups in the big world.*

Dia was in heaven, this seemed like so much fun! Not to mention she could possibly find out more about where had come from, and where it was her people had gone to. She hoped he could find some sort of solace to his own answers as well. But she was mostly just enjoying the time spent with him.
"What do you think we'll find when we get there?" she asked, cocking her head to the side as she padded along with him.

*His pink fur shifted from side to side. His designs moving in an almost hypnotic way as he walked*

"I hope so too!" she said happily as he walked along with him, staring down at his markings every so often and getting lost. Once she would she would shake her head quickly, her rings jingling a bit as she walked. "I wonder if the wolves we meet will be nice, "she said thoughtfully as they neared their destination. "I remember them being nice....but it's been so long..."
