Spent most of last night working on leveling, which has rather slowed down since previous levels. Thanks so much Naehev for helping me get some more exp! I think I started the evening at about 15%. I got to about 60% and was feeling ready to call it quits when Naehev joined me, first at pig beach then we moved to the forest with the green shrooms 3nodding And he got me over 20% more! Yay I should be able to level when I get on after work tonight. xd
Why am I so excited about lvl 25? Well, several reasons. I get the last bow available in stores, which is the first to have a fast attack rate rather than normal. I have my bamboo hat and gold rings from quests that I can finally equip. I'm itching to get the new armor which I like better in looks than my current stuff. And I'll be only 5 levels from 30 when I can get my second job advancement! Question on that- should you do it right at lvl 30, or wait to be a bit stronger so you don't die collecting the dark marbles? I wasn't sure how hard those enemies are, I assume when you do it you get ported into an area you need to stay in until you finish it?
Going to go back to town as soon as I get on, have a coupld drops to sell (the usual lemona glove, another garnier thing, and my best drop so far- lvl 18 metal wand. I almost feel like I should find someone who needs it rather than NPC but if I can't to oblivion it goes.) Since lvl 25 is so near I'm going to buy all the equips for it so I'm ready, I had only bought the bow thus far. Oh yes, about gloves- I want to try to get/synth the next up archer gloves. But both the lvl 25 (Blue Savata) and lvl 30 (Brown Marker) ones require 2 golds. I have the rest of the stuff needed for the lvl 25 ones, but I'd have to buy those golds. I'm thinking maybe I should skip to the lvl 30 ones, for which I'd need 2 golds and a garnet. If I make the lvl 25 ones I want to get a garnet anyway so I can turn them into the nicer ones, the Red Savata. For the lvl 30 ones if I get more emerald ores I can make them Green Markers which are quite nice, I like green. But how much would I be looking to spend for the golds, dare I ask? I know the other ores are cheaper, but I don't know if anyone just finds these gloves from monster drops. I only have my one lonely gold ore, I don't think I have any garnet, and I think I have like 3-4 emerald? What monsters drop gold? I forget what I got it off of.

Randomly gave some people arrows, and was in blue mushie forest with a higher level mage (SheHulk or something, she was decimating stuff, but they were spawning fast enough it was actually a help since they didn't get on me too many at a time, and we kept out of each others way.) I had found a sap of ancients or whatever from a stump a while ago, she randomly gave me arrows and I randomly gave it to her. Since it ups magic attack it wasn't very useful to me and I'd just been waiting for a good mage to give it to. For my moment of amusement, I was standing on a platform resting and another archer a bit higher level jumped up and stood next to me, she had the next level equips. She suddenly changed into exactly what I was wearing and grinned at me. I took a screenshot of it I should post biggrin
Oh yes, one other amusing story. Went in a tree where some mages were fighting with the horny shrooms and such. Just kinda stood and watched a bit, and they dropped some stuff and left it for a bit, and were discussing going back to town. Well among it was a feather, so I politely asked if I could have it and they were like sure and dropped some more. One of the guys dropped some arrows and the other was like "kiss me and I'll give you arrows!" I told him I didn't kiss people I just met and he was like "well hug me then?" So I did and got more arrows. I also changed into a cuter outfit for them and the one said his heart was getting all thumpy LOL.

Ah, so same reasons as getting your job right at level 10. I guess if I do it right after I level it won't matter if I die for some reason.

Eeh, I usually don't either, but I thought it was more of in a kidding friendly way or I would have just left. I don't put up with people being rude that way.

*curses work for making her stay late and cutting down on Maple time* Dinner, than Maple. Can't stay late tonight either, I have a 13-hour workday tomorrow starting early morning. If you see me on late, past like 1am, tell me to get off wink

Well, wasn't on as long as I wanted since I got caught up in Gaia stuff, and the night ended a bit disappointing. Got my level, and was real happy, and ran off to buy lvl 25 eqiups. I thought I'd have the right stats for the next equips when I leveled, but I was short, both a little in dex (for clothes) and str (for bow). I don't want to remake my character, I like her and like that name, but I have a feeling each level is going to be like this... I may even need 2 levels to get that last point. Does anyone else have this problem or did I just totally suck making my character?
At least now I can wear my bamboo hat?
Randomness for the night was a mage dropping some bananas and curse dolls while I was shopping in the store.
Bah its 2am.

Was having a bit of crisis of faith in my bowman, but I'm happy again 3nodding I'm not the only one without perfect stats so its all good.
I did however start a new character tonight just for fun- 0KitsuneRei0 3nodding (Will add her to the first post.) She's going to be a warrior and I'm going to be a bit more careful with her stats, will probably be built like a tank. I got her up to lvl 8 and had to stop since the notice for the patch went up, she's still at Maple Island. Will get her about halfway through lvl 9 and then hop over to Victoria Island and taxi to Perion. Will get her a job and maybe a couple more levels and then switch back to my bowman since I'm eager to level her too 3nodding
I havn't been through a patch before so not sure what to expect, if its a normal one or part of Ossyria. I still have so much of Victoria to explore I don't really care about Ossyria's release and probably won't go there for a while when it is. I figure Victoria will get a bit emptier for leveling and such, though at the same time I'll be sad to see a lot of people from the Guild leave for there, I assume the monsters are all more difficult there.

I know, I tend to do that as well, it just eats too much space. I'll still use Yoru as my primary, this is just a diversion for now and again if I need a change.

Some current goals:

My primary currently is attaining a Brown Marker (lvl 30 glove.) Well, ideally I want a Green Maker, but to start I need a Brown one. I don't believe the browns are dropped by anything, but Hidden Street says the Greens are dropped by Dark Yeti, Dark Yeti & Pepe. Odd one and not the other, but okay. I figure I'll probably be at least lvl 30 anyway by the time I get enough golds sweatdrop
To make myself a Brown I need: 50 Leathers, 2 Golds, 1 Amethyst (I have 1 gold ore and 3 amethyst ores.)
To upgrade my Brown to a Green, which has the nice DEX bonus, I need 3 Emeralds (I have 7 emerald ores.)


A secondary goal which I think I need to keep in mind is making a higher level bow. I know that won't come up for a little while yet but if I should still work towards it. I want to get/make the Red Viper (lvl 35 bow). If anyone finds *any* of the higher level bows please let me know! Well I'm sure I can't afford like a lvl 50 one but I would like to buy it off you if at all possible. Red Vipers are Dropped by: Jr. Yeti, Dark Stone Golem
The item requirements for the lvl 40 bow, the Vaulter 2000, are so steep I'm not going to even bother dreaming about it yet, and it doesn't seem to be dropped by anything. The bows above that are drop-only so may just be easier to buy one of those off someone when the time comes. We'll see what happens in the future and what bows I'm able to find people selling.
To make a Red Viper I need: 7 Silvers, 6 Garnets, 3 Opals, 35 Screws (I have 4 silver ores, 0 garnet ores, 6 opal ores, 0 Screws)

I'm not really super concerned about future equips yet, they aren't generally as steep to make and its seems more people have them.


So... anyone selling golds? sweatdrop (eheh seems like everyone is seeking them.)
