kuraYami no Mitsukai I've read his profile in one of the dubbed version's dvds, and it said Envy is neither a guy nor a girl...but yea...definitely a guy o.O but thats because dubbers are stupid..... xd giving Envy a woman's voice..... I hope they burn... stare

ah, yes. THE controversial topic. geez. i cant understand why people think envy~san's a girl. i mean, hello! he absolutely DOES NOT give out "i'm a chick so deal with it!" vibe. never doubted for a minute that he was a guy. and the creators agree wiv me.. whee

Ep. 50 declairs Envy a BOY, and him as Ed's older brother. Also DOES HE HAVE BOOBS? NO!!!! He is 100% MAN!! Okay 90% man, but that's only bcause he is a shapshifter.

  He's a guy. He was Dante & Ed's dad's first son, in their origonal bodies.
They tried to bring him back with human transmutation, but failed.
Envy was the first homunculous.
He's a guy is the point though.
