Scarlet Clock: Red Rain

Scarlet Clock: Red Rain is the continuation of Scarlet Clock. It's an original fantasy concept, centering on a world still reeling from a curse made by an evil sorceress/warlord 500 years ago. As the curse slowly kills the world through a twisted and sick Catch-22, characters must find a way to neutralize its effects on society. Scarlet Clock: Red Rain continues six months after the original Rp ends, which was a strong and active roleplay that accumulated 56 pages since its starting point in February.

The Rp is strange in that it's located in a Tales of Symphonia (the video game) forum. I won't deny that there's an unfortunate amount of spammers in the roleplay thread, but at the same time there's a strong culture of literate and committed roleplayers.


And, erm...that's it. Did I leave out anything important and necessary for an advertisment in this thread?

The Fire Nation; The Fire nation is a very hostile nation. The red colors of their ninja represent honor. The vast city known as Katongakure is one of the many wonders of the world. It is cold and snowy, Ironicly. The snow and hail constantly rains over the amazing city paving the streets with snow. This nation is constantly locked between 'The new' and 'The old' ways.

Name: Katongakure
Special ability: Tactical Wisdom, And secret village jutsu.

Enemies: The Oni nation - Akumakage




Summary: Furuigakaru; Some know it as Furuishikata Meaning Ancient ways. The hidden village lies along the ocean and still remains a secret against the dark green mountains. Travelers have seen it and it's tales have spread all over the world. Many have tryed, And many have failed to reach this amazing spectical the way to the village lies through the wicked swamp. Travesing through thick moss and hidden ninjas, it is a very rigorrious path.


When men arrive to the village gates an unforgiving question is asked, "Friend or Foe?"
Many know how to respond to such a question and others don't Have the chance, There is but a 5 second pause before the blades impale the bodies of the tounge twisted men. Once withing the great gates, the rapid fog seems to fade revealing the majestic village hidden from the world. Every where you should look green was to be found, the sunlight was able to make its way from the sky down to the village.

Ability: Stealth and unique sealing jutsu.





Sunagakure: The village hidden in the Sand, located in the Nation of the wind and ruled by the Kazekage.

Jutsu:
Keeping with basic traditions, the Hidden Sand has trained shinobi for many generations in the use of sand and wind elemental jutsu. Many shinobi also practice the use of puppets. The jutsus used by shinobi are ancient and powerful, handed down and perfected for thousands of years, before the nation even existed.

Wind Nation

The wind nation is mainly desert, with some mountainous areas around the borders. It is near the south and has the warmest weather of all the other nations. Even those who aren't trained fighters must build up a great deal of endurance to survive the climate and make this place their home. Most of the cities remain very small since water is hard to find. The nation may seem poor from the outside, but in their homes, the citizens enjoy a rich standard of living.

The nation has no enemies, and no allies. Deals are made only when necessary, and last only as long as they are useful. This false neutrality vanishes during conflict, as the nation is quick to take sides in a conflict to suit its own interests.


-Positions to be filled-
Sunagakure is in need of at least one jounin, at least two chuunin, and no more than three genin. All other applicants will most likely be placed as academy students, unless provign youself worthy of a higher rank.
Ability: Sand and Wind manipulation jutsu.
