"Lord Valkari decided that we shall be departing at dusk." Issildia replied in a distant manner, ignoring Kiris for the time being.
"Though if time is needed for your people to arrive Hykoshi, I advise that you speak with Agara..."

"How dare you!" exclaimed Kiris, at her opponent's apparent disregard for their former conversation. Her hand went for her sword as if to act in challenge.

Issildia regarded Kiris's words with little attention as the woman drew her blade.
"If you mean to kill me...then do it properly...hire someone better than yourself to try." she said with disdain as she turned to leave.
It was easy enough to pick up the heavy footfalls of her opponent as she advanced quickly upon her target. It was obvious that Lady Illendi relied on strength and power, though a potent form of fighting, it had its faults.

At the last moment when the ragged blade of the katana came in for a wide left slash Issildia turned in an unseen instant with nothing more than a kunai held at a slight angle to deflect the blow. Kiris's attack went wide, the momentum of the katana taking her balance with it. Issildia easily caught Kiris's right arm, and with a deft move, there was a grinding of bone as the shoulder blade slipped out of the socket, thus leaving Kiris's sword arm useless until the bone was set back into place.

"Dolle naa lost" Issildia muttered disdainfully as she released her opponent's arm, leaving Kiris to stumble back a matter of steps. Without waiting for a response from the defeated; Issildia turned to leave Kiris in the dusty street clutching at her dislodged shoulder.

"I suppose if need be we can wait for your comrades Hykoshi...I would prefer otherwise...but if you insist." Issildia stated in a conversational manner as she and Kyrion departed from the scene as if nothing had transpired.

~Azure only smiled as he watched Issildia defeat the enraged Kiris. It was alomst too easy, but he knew more about controling ones own power, probably better than any of those who stood in this unit. Had it been he who was to receive the attack, she would not have lived to tell about her experience. Without so much as a word, he turned to follow his comrade. Once he passed her blade, he kicked it over to her almost in a mockery. Hopefully it would make her realise the futility of her argument.~

Hykoshi had almost drawn his blade, but he had sensed herfluid movement. It was the first time that she had shocked him, and he was sure it was not her last time. He fell into step with her. "They canmeet us there, the group are not imbeciles, and can trackme anywhere. They could arrive before us even, ifthey understand my meanings." He looked at the side of Issildia's head. "..such a powerful aura and profile... and she's so young...." Mae caughtup with Hykoshi, and cuddled up to his right arm, not saying a word. Jinzo also appeared, following the group.

"Good." Issildia replied to Hykoshi, offering no other words on the matter. "Tell me Hykoshi, what information do you have on the enemy? You have had experience with the Infinitus in the past, what is their pattern of attack? Why did they take you land?" she questioned.

"The enemy's motive is often their undoing, the answers you grant us could aid us in gaining the advantage." she added as the came to the edge of the city to overlook the desert.

"They overpower you in numbers. Numbers that know what their doing too. Well-trained, well-manipulated, and the communicate well too." He shook his head, "As far as I can tell, they have a perfect form of attack. I cut off a route of their commmunication, and they didn't fall into chaos, they continued without flaw.as far as I can tell, the only way to counter that is to limit their mobility and communique asmuch as possible, maybe scare them a little. It seems they have a shakeable pride though. One who broke his sword was absolutely useless afterwards." He looked down to his wife, and then back up. "I do not know why they attacked us. I presume it is for the prestige and powerof owning the land, or maybe the pride of destroying evryone else. I thought it was for my sword, the onethe clan was originally named after, but they destroyed that in the battle." Hykoshi sighed, "It is mystifying how after a day and a half of mad fighting, they gave us terms of surrender. As far as I can tell, they've never done that before."

~As Hikoshi told the tale of his experiences, Azure listened on with an unusual interest. These tactics sounded falmiliar to him, although he did not recall the name of the faction, he seemed to know something of the battle tactics they relied upon.~

Do you recall a strategist in their ranks of any sort?

"Yeah, let's go. I'm not very fond of the people here."

Lively and happy to be on the move, Satinka led the way to the meeting point.

((Very short, but there's not a lot of action going on yet))

"Not at all. It seemed they amassed around a central point, as if to protect it, or maybe to parade it, but I did not see any special soldiers." He looked to the oungerman. He, too, gavehim a deep impression. "Maybe their lines were too thick for me to see through. They fight like a wall, but their innards are as black as the devils."

Following Satinka Ashrem kept up with her, walking only slightly behind his fellow assasin.

"Obviously open war would be an unwise tactic for us to carry out...I think that a clandestine operation would merit the best result." Issildia commented.
"They can not kill what they can not see...we can strike under the cover of night before this contingent of the Infinitus reaches Celeste...we detain, we interrogate, then we dispose of them. If the information we gain from them leads to one of their strongholds...I believe that we should seek to destroy them by taking out the line of command. Cut off the head and the body will die..."’

"As I explained, I tried that. They know, or at least informed of what to do if they cannot recieve communication. I think this would only delay us. They may be able to see in the dark, I am not sure. Their eyes are horrific to look at, just to say the least. I think if we could find a way to cut supplies, it would be beyond useful."

~Azure did not enjoy the fact that this survivor of the Infinitus was inadvertently objecting to what seemed like a sound strategy. He had decided to make his opinion known as well as give to his companion his own input on the situation.~

A faction of their stature would not be so arrogant as to leave their supply routes unprotected. Although taking their supply caches would deal a devastating blow to their morale, it is not the best choice. If they are as fierce as Lord Valkari believes, any prisioner we capture would most likely take his own life in order to prevent any information from leaking inot our ranks. I doubt that any peon we capture would be of any use either way. Now, should we manage to take one of their generals into our custody, we may gain some leverage over them no matter how little. In war, the soldiers mindlessly follow orders, while the Generals usually coordinate the attack from the safety of their strongholds. I believe we should utilize all three of these tactics.

"None of my soldiers follow mindlessly." Hykoshi said coldly, and then continued, "I will do my part, and I may offer suggestion, but how it looks, thatmay be all." He humphed, and looked downto his wife. He looked back up, and forwards as if towards and beyond the sunset, and clenched his jaw.

~Azure made no efforts to contradict this man. In his eyes, he still feared his enemy...and that fear woudl either aid him or destroy him depending on how he chooses to weild it. Offering no comment to this man, he scanned the group in search of any other feed back to his suggestion.~

Are there any other objections to this strategy?

"If all your soldiers have a mind of their own then I doubt they would answer to any sort of authority, Hykoshi. But nonetheless, Azure is correct, we can combine these tactics for the time being until we discover the weaknesses of the enemy, from that point our plan of attack should become far more targeted." Issildia replied while glancing off towards the sun as it slowly descended towards the horizon.

"Though I am doubtful that a number of the others that are part of this operation will share these views..." she added, concerned that those such as Darin and Kiris along with the two humans might object to this plan.
