My first spell was a banishment spell, we were having a lot of trouble from a certain person in our life constantly coming around to our house, and not taking no for an answer. I cast a spell to banish him from our house. It worked and we still remained friends without the complications of him assuming he could spend every waking hour of the day with us.

Well, as I'm new n all I haven't had a first spell as of yet, lol. I really want have the knowledge I need first and not be ignorant of important stuff. This is partly why I'm so grateful for the net lol as I have no other means of finding information. I'm still unsure as to what I want my first spell to be though. I'm sure the time will come eventually although it will have to be in secret because of my parents gonk

Istill don't remember my first spell... It was probably for healing... I think. But I like the idea of my first being for healing... Rather than any selfish means or anything... I donno.... xd .

oh my first spell, it does work for me, but im not sure about others it may need to be reworded to fit someone else
its kind of a protection spell the i say aloud when i get scare...
but it can had i have used it for other things like when im running late
being shy, need extra strenght to get through something etc.

P.S. fell free to use take what ever if you give credit in you Book of Shadows (i dont like calling it BoS, rubs me the wrong way for some reason) just put it under Squeek or Aki

The conflict between them is extremely personal. It was a spell to end a relationship of seriousness, but to keep them together as good friends for a long time to come. And if they had wanted to, they could get back together. Care to see the spell? It's a ritual as well.

My first spell that worked was actually a spell that I created to cancel school. Of course it was winter, and we had been off the day before because of snow. I casted the spell at night, and the next morning school was canceled again. The roads weren't bad at all, and many wondered why school was even canceled that day.

Hate to say it... but Hayate and Midnight... Those two spells don't really sound like a good idea... and I don't suggest you post the spell on the guild forums... But a mod might want to have a look at some stage... Both of you can probably tell why they were bad ideas... Just try to make sure that all the rest are not only with good intention (as I'm sure these ones were) but make sure they don't affect anyone else in a negative way... I won't lecture you... but feel free to ask questions ^^

It is good to gain knowledge of magick and work basic energy exercises and such before you start sending your energy out magickally. I studied for two years before I started practicing as I felt the same way and I know now because of this that wicca is definitely the right path for me. As for your first spell. You'll know when the time is right, there's no need to rush. Just be sure that what you do is in peace and with love and you'll be fine. Good luck on your path biggrin

Well my first spell was when I asked for it to rain. I was rather pleased that it worked but it only rained for a couple minutes.

I've been doing spells ever since I was young, without really knowing they were spells. Read my spellbook in the library, the first I used when I was really in need was there (the protection one)

My first spell was when I was 5 years old. It was a location spell. I lost my stuffed dog toy and my mom taught me this spell in case I ever lost something .
Wolves & faeries, dragons & ghosts
I've lost the thing that I need most
Bring it back safe and sound
Wheter lost above or below the ground
Bring it back just for me.
