Yeah, I see your point. The only problem is that I wouldn't really have a model or a pattern so it would be rreeeeaaallllyyy hard to make without either, and my first BJD is going to be a Luts Soo Angel Elf, so that wouldn't help much either, sorry!

Did I post in here yet? question
Well, anyway, there are some really nice outfits made by the company manufacturers that I wouldn't mind buying. But I'm kind of cheap so I don't sweatdrop .
I do sew my own clothes for which I've been having to browse around for patterns I can use. I don't really know how to make patterns from scratch so sometimes I try to modify what I can find ninja
I get satisfaction from making my own clothes. But sometimes it can be a pain to have to sew by hand (I have a small machine but it acts up on me a lot scream ). At the same time, it helps on occasion to do hand stitching anyway.
As for the style of clothing, I think the gothic/lolita type stuff is my favorite. Some fantasy outfits are nice too. pirate

I've been hand beading an upside down chevron like design (well, it WILL be a chevron once I do the other side of the coat. XD) on Fox's Lestat coat. Um... Fun. XD Actually my main complaint is how I did the sleeves. They don't like me, and I don't like them. So I have to take them in, or redo them alltogether. I think I'll do the latter.

(No pics yet)
I still have Raziel mostly in his default cloths, since I haven't had much time to make him anything new. I've made him one new shirt, which he will be keeping for a while, despite the fact that the color doesn't suite him well, because it took me forever to get it on him! lol.
My mom's teaching me a few things about sewing, and we're planning on turning my sister's room into a sewing room after she moves out, so I'll be able to do much more cloths for my boy, and some for me, as well. (When I get around to it, we will have matching Jedi costumes. XD)

XP (failed horribly) but I have managed to find and make shirts for him! (fashion avenue Ken shirts=love) my brother moved out of his room last year to go to college... unfortunately he came back just in time to stop about 15 sewing projects in various states of completion, and most of which still remain unfinnished... (when will he move out again?!?! gonk ) -I was also thinking about making Adriyn a Jedi costume! hooray for Present Ren Jedis!-

Haha. I can make shorts... SHOTA SHORTS. I tried making a shirt for MSD size once, at like, 3 AM. Failed, miserably.
Fashion Avenue Ken, HERE I COME.

I'd make Raziel new pants, but I ran into a snag that he won't be able to wear new pants unless I can get his old ones off... And I can take off his pants unless I take off his shoes. And his shoes are quite stuck.
And I saw another Jedi Present Ren on the DoA forums. XD Although I think he had taken his outfit from an actual Star Wars doll.... Which I can't seem to find any at a decent price, since I got into the Star Wars fandom a little late.... I want a lightsaber.... Ooookay, getting off topic.
Well, my sis is getting married, so chances are she won't be moving back in. lol.

I've now determined that the hoodie fits (but can't be put on with the wig on and is freaking hard to get over her elf ears and now I'm too afraid I'll mess up her eyelashes if I put it on). She came naked so i had to make her a makeshift dress until I can make actual clothes so she won't be indecent. The problem now? I just got a new sewing machine to find out that it eats lace crying . So now I'm making her tank by hand and it still won't look right because of the eaten part on the edges. see here: This is the makeshift dress (very cute actually, but the hem is lopsided) And this is the original hoodie on my girl when she first arrived before her terrifying first face-up!

EEP! today I just realized that Lena's new 'dress' (very cute black+white striped) has stained her adorable arms! (tube dress so her arms rub against it) and this is right after I clean her! gonk (took her apart, scrubbed, restrung) now I think I need to do that again! (and this time coat her body too!)
yuzuha, I do the same thing, just kinda wing it until I have a substantial amout of the outfit sewn, then try it on, make sure it fits, pin, sew some more, etc, etc...
