Idiotic pack of piranha? Don't know when to quit?

"I'll show YOU when to quit!" Riku whipped forward, slicing sideways at the intruder. Wide strike, harder to dodge... go for surface area not precision...

When Roxas hit the ground Riku lost his focus for a split second and looked over at the Nobody.

Before he realized that he'd missed a very important development, he was running past the stranger and he slammed into a bookshelf. Did he duck? What just happened? He fell to the ground, clutching his head where it hit the wall.

Ienzo had just been drifting off into a nice, warm, dreamless sleep when a ruckus woke him. The boy shot up in bed upon hearing Aerith enter, looking like the world was ending. Blue eyes remained in a befuddled expression as he adjusted to the light of the room.

"Wha---?" He stared for a moment longer until he realized that it was kind of noisy close by. There was an angry yell that he couldn't quite make out, but it definitely sounded like a battle. Oh. That's what was going on.

"Ok." Ienzo nodded, lithely sliding out of the comfortable bed (he looked at it sadly for a moment before joining Aerith.) Man, action already? What on earth was it this time?

Ugh, he hated being so lost.

"Tch, yeah, you really showed that wall who's boss." He snickered at the angered boy. So far, two had tried their hands and well... failed ridiculously. Huh, so much for the big and enthralling fight he had been looking forward to. These kids were nothing more than that, kids. Well... maybe those older guys could prove to be a challenge. But his fight wasn't really with---

--Hold up just a moment. There was one. With the scar and the eyepatch. Yes, come to papa. A face-splitting sneer took over his features and he started to chuckle under his breath. Eyes glazed over with a dark red glow, blocking out his whites. The sneer turned into a growl and pearly white canines showed. Five crouched low before launching himself at the scarred man. He wanted a goddamn fight, and he sure as hell was going to get it NOW.

From his throat came an unearthly combination of what sounded like a human scream and an angry howl.

Blood would be spilt, today.

This was NOT the time for this s**t. The gunner was seriously P.O.ed because of various things that had happened over the internet and in his own real life. His hands tightened around his guns.

Warp.

He wasn't happy. He really could have cared less. He appeared in mid hair behind the charing beserker that moved like Saix and started firing. His eye was narrowed and he looked as cold and expressionless as he did when he was a Nobody.

((Forgive this. I'm feeling sick but since I was adressed, I had to post. I'm also about as thrilled as Xig is right now.))

"Follow Me, please." Aerith led the injured man outside of the castle, she pointed to a tiny cottage that wasn't too far away, "Do you see that house? That's Merlin's house...please stay there until we come back for you. You should be safe there." she waved and turned quickly on her heel, running back towards the castle with her staff out.

She had a feeling that her healing magic would be needed today.

Aerith burst through the door and saw Xigbar attacking the brown cloaked man, the brown cloaked man looked like he was in rage...a very serious blinding rage. This could be a tough battle. She looked at Cloud...who...didn't seem too happy to see her back here, she smiled and waved before blasting Fire magic at the cloaked man.

She could get scolded by Cloud and Leon later...right now...she had to help.

Aerith continued to attack with her vast supply of magic. Blizzzard, Fire, Thunder. She cast a simple Cure spell on everyone in the room, to keep them at top form. This looked like it was going to be a long, tough battle. Almost as bad as the heartless invasion.

I'm dead. I must be dead. That card was a bomb....a spell card...something...It must have activated when Axel met up with the rest of us...And now we're dead.

The flash of light was the last thing Yuffie could remember of Destiny Islands. In merely a nanosecond, perhaps the brightest light she had ever seen had blasted out of the card and completely blinded her. She had opened her mouth to scream, but shock had rendered her vocal cords useless. For what seemed like an eternity there was nothingness. Absolute, pure, nothingness.

I'm dead....I'll never see my friends again....I hope they'll be able to fight off the cloak guy

At the end of the presumed eternity, she could feel solid ground under her feet. She wiggled her toes, feeling gravel and stone under her boots. Her eyesight returned slowly, and she was eventually able to distinguish the basic outlines of her surroundings. From what she was able to make out, she was standing in a maw, surrounded by jagged, rocky cliffs. As her eyes returned to their normal state, the scenery became exponentially more familiar.

"Wait a minute....I'm in the Great Maw....I'M HOME!!!!!" The ninja let out a loud screech and jumped amazingly high into the air. "YAHOO!!!" She turned around and saw that the other three from the islands were coming to their senses behind her, seemingly confused at the unusual surroundings.

"Guys!!!! I know where we are!!! This is the Great Maw of Radiant Garden....which is right by the castle where your friends and my friends are!!! Come on, I'll lead the way over there!!!!"

Not again...I can't die. Not yet...Not after we were just given a second chance!

Saïx had never seen such a bright light. He was puzzled. First a card, the a bright light like an explosion and now darkness? Did...he lose his heart again?

No. I didn't...But why can't I move? I...can't feel anything! Saïx thought in a paniced way. After what felt like sitting in the dark for hours he finally managed to slowly snake his hand from the his side to his chest. Was his heart gone? He felt so weak...

This isn't over. It just isn't! I...need to keep fight. I need to help Kairi and the others! I promised...I promised her I would come back in one peice! He yelled angerly. He didn't want to give up.

"Guys!!!! I know where we are!!! This is the Great Maw of Radiant Garden..." Saïx heard shouting. Yuffie. Great Maw? Where has he heard that...

I don't care about any of that! Just let me into the realm of darkness, okay?! A boy's voice screamed. He knew it from somewhere...If it's Kairi you're worried about, don't. We're taking very good care of her. Said another voice. His remembered it! It was his own. He remembered where he was now! He was in the area where they tricked Sora into fighting an army of Heartless. Before Axel ratted out to the Keyblade Master and he encountered the boy.

He pushed himself up, his eyes finally unhazing to see his surroundings and Yuffie running over to them as they all begun to wake up. "Yuffie? So we arn't dead. Good." Saïx said softly, pushing himself up to his feet. He still felt weak. He glanced back to find blood where he had been laying. They must have been out for a bit. He bled quite a bit, that explained his sudden weakness. But the good thing was is that the blood had clotted and stopped finally.
PostPosted: Wed Jun 28, 2006 6:46 am

"Damn, Saix, you don't look so good." She grimaced at the pool of blood and took a step closer to inspect his arm. "The good news is....it's not bleeding anymore. The bad news....you still have a nasty cut in your arm....and the potion I gave you was the last one I had." She crossed her arms over her chest and scrunched up her face in thought, until her eyes glittered with realization. "Of course, I'm so stupid. My friend Aerith is the best healer I know. She'll fix you up...I think."

She ran past her wounded comrade, past where Marluxia and Axel were still recovering from the blast, to the very edge of the Great Maw. "Okay guys, if you would just follow me, I'll have you all at the castle in a jiffy!" Waiting a moment for them to listen and register her words, she took off, out of the Maw, into a glacier-like cavern. She pulled her shuriken out, and carved a line into the wall as she was running so those who couldn't run as fast wouldn't be left behind. She kept running, into a winding series of caves and stone paths that seemed endless to those not familiar with the area. Finally, she reached an area just outside the construction site that had been damaged in the 1000 Heartless Battle. Originally built with ramps and equipment to get contruction materials there eaisly, most of the structures were flattened, leaving a rocky mess.

On a especially preseved section, there was a large, locked gate with a machine to swipe keycards. Leon probably closed it so that the freak show wouldn't get in.... Rummaging through her pack, she produced a small, colorful ID card bespeaking her as a Restoraton Committee member. Instead of going to open the gate then, she waited for the other three to show up.

What a freakin' bright light! It was kinda annoying, really. It gave Axel a headache, staying in it for what seemed like hours. The thought of death didn't even cross his mind; death was something dark, not light. Why was this light here anyway? That was the only question Axel had.

When Axel woke up, he found himself in the Great Maw of Hollow Bastion, his head throbbing. Ow. He sat up, rubbing the back of his head. This was where he ratted out the Organization's plans to Sora...Wait...he remembered that? It didn't seem like he just got those memories, but more like he didn't know he had them. Never needed to. That was right. Then Saix came in with his thousand heartless and made Sora fight them all. Man, that ticked the red-head off.

Axel looked to his right, a big puddle of blood. Must have been where Saix was, but now he was standing. Marluxia wasn't far away either. But Yuffie wasn't far off either.

Still rubbing his head, Axel stood up and went over to Saix.
"Hey, where'd that Bratty Ninja run off to?" He asked.
PostPosted: Wed Jun 28, 2006 9:46 am

Saïx brought a hand up to his forehead, two fingers at the bridge of his nose. Yuffie's voice hurt his ears that were now sensitive. But now that she left his head begun to stop throbbing. Suddenly he jumped from hearing a second voice. Axel.

There goes his head again...

"I don't know...she said...to follow her." Saïx's voice was quiet. Very unsual when it came from Saïx. He felt very lightheaded from the bloodloss. He had a headache, too...Upon hearing Yuffie say they had a healer he felt relieved but...why the hell did she not help him move? He was already almost stumbling to stay on two legs, now she expected him to walk?

Saïx let out a heavy sigh, slowly making his way to where she had run to. His movements clearly showed Axel that he was weak, wounded and dying. He was seeing double infront of him, which didn't help his balance at all.

Come on, Axel...wake up Marluxia and bring him along... Saïx thought sluggishly. He had thought he said that aloud, and when he heard no footsteps towards Marluxia he stopped dragging his feet in an attept to walk and turned to Axel. He opened his mouth but nothing came.

In Saïx's line of sight everything was blurry and doubled. He felt so light headed he couldn't think straight or stay up as his legs suddenly gave in and he collapsed onto the dirt infront of Axel. He must have scared the boy...he could hear him screaming at him with anger...but Saïx couldn't focus on the words as they slowly begun to die down into quietness.

Silence felt good. Even if Saïx was fainting...

It had been far too long. It had felt like an eternity since she had reached the gate, and still no sign of the other three. Usually, the ninja could chalk it up to her chronic impatience, but something in her gut told her something was definetly wrong. Please tell me those dummies didn't get lost..... Sighing, she ran back through the twisted maze of glaciers and jagged cliffs back to the Great Maw. As she dashed through, she noticed no footprints other than her own, no further disturbance to the path, in fact no sign the others had followed her at all. Idiots. What, they want someone to hold their hand?

"s**t!!!!" After turning the last corner into the Maw, she nearly tripped over Saix's unconcious body. "Oh s**t, this can't be good....Axel, help me." She grabbed the dying warrior's good arm and threw it over her shoulders. "Dammit, Axel, I said help me!!! I know you guys don't get along....but if he dies out here, it'll be your fault!!!!"

She tried to pull the man behind her, but he proved far heavier than she could have expected. "Marluxia? Please wake up!! I really need your help right now!"

Now both Xigbar and Aerith were throwing everything they had at the Saїx look alike, just as Riku and Roxas had done before. Gloved hands tightened around the grip of his Revolver. Look what was happening now. Radiant Garden was under attack again. The first time that happened, Leon had failed.

But today was not that day.

The man suddenly dashed forward with renewed resolve (and health due to Aerith’s spell) with the gunblade trailing behind held firmly in both hands. The weapon arched upwards and around and began descending upon the world’s intruder. And if he timed the trigger right, even more damage would be done.

The hostile look of Roxas watched the cloaked man carefully as he moved around. The very essence of this man seemed to wreak and fill the room. It was both hateful and choking. Something unlike any other feeling had felt before… but that would not hold him back.

Roxas watched as Xigbar first shot at the man and was soon followed by the just entering Aerith and Leon. Was this the power of the adults? Was there that big of a difference? Could he not help?

Well, he did have another trick up his sleeve.

The boy closed his eyes for a brief moment in order to fully concentrate. He held his empty hand before him… and there it was. A second keyblade. Unlike the crisp, dark look of his first one, this one was white and elegant. Names were never things he considered but since he had just met Sora, maybe he would ask sometime.

He held up the dark keyblade, the one in his right hand, and pointed it at the man.

“I don’t think any of us asked for a fight or even for you to come around! So why bother coming? Why are you here?”

Merlin's house. Merlin's house. Alright, he could probably find that without too much of a problem. Well... now that Aerith had rushed off to help the rest fight, he would have to find it without any help.

Ienzo, you are no child. You can do that just fine.

He began walking in the direction that the pink dressed lady had pointed him in. All the while, it felt like his mind had gone on overtime. What was exactly happening in there? If it was one of those brown cloaks, he really wanted to know why they were after them all. Of course, it wouldn't do to just ask "why are you after us", because the chance that they'd actually give them an answer they wanted was about 4.2%. Not very high on his scale, and he doubted it was high on anyone else's as well. They'd have to find another way to get it out of them.

Which led the shorter man to the conclusion that he'd have to watch them, to see them again. Observational study made great data, and would only increase that original 4.2% into something higher, something they could ultimately work with. Until then, though, he supposed he would have to wait on the sidelines. After all, he knew nothing more about himself besides just a name and some information about an "Organization XIII", Nobodies, and a little about the Heartless that Riku had told him through the network. It was frustrating, not knowing anything. He was in a strange position, since for all he knew, he didn't have a weapon of any kind. Besides his fists and feet, but Ienzo already knew his body was much too lightweight to pack any kind of power in his hits.

When he looked up from his musings, he noticed he had stopped right in front of the door to Merlin's home. Well, that would've been awkward, had he walked into said door. And terribly clumsy. Ienzo raised a hand to knock, rapping lightly on the heavy wood.

"Hello?"

The door swung open after a few bumps and the sound of something falling off a table.

"Yeah, wha' the hell d'ya want?"

That was unexpected. Just who was this blonde man? Ienzo frowned before answering.

"Aerith sent me she---"

"Aerith?! Well, why in tha damn hell didn'cha say that in tha first place?"

Ienzo was about to argue that he practically had, but before long, he was being ushered in by the coarse mouthed blonde man.

"Merlin, this kid was sent here by Aerith. Somethin's gotta be up."

Kid?! How rude. He was no child of any sort. The blue-eyed man sniffed a bit indignantly, even if it was quietly. He watched as the man addressed as Merlin turned around, fixing his glasses (which were slightly fogged), wizened face molding into an expression of mild surprise.

"Oh! Goodness, goodness. Flibberty-gibbit!" Merlin turned to the pot he had been hovering over and fiddled with the knob before bringing his attention back to the now seated ex-Organization member.

"Now, son. What was your name, you say?" Another adjustment of glasses.

"Ienzo, sir."

"Right, right. I see. Now why did Aerith send you here?" Ienzo bit back the urge to sigh in frustration.

"I think she mentioned that there was a fight going---"

"A figh'?!!" The blonde man stood quickly from his bench, knocking it over.

"Cid, please sit back down. I do believe this young man has not finished." At that, Ienzo wanted to kiss the older man. Thank you! He wanted to get this out without too many interruptions.

"She sent me here, because I had been injured earlier. The fight is probably between this brown-cloaked person we had met earlier. Well, not Aerith, but the others that are with me. Roxas, Xigbar, and Riku. Roxas, Xigbar and I were in Twilight Town, where we didn't remember anything except our names, brown-cloaked people showed up, and we ended up here. Met Leon and Aerith, and now I guess we're being attacked... again." The blue-eyed man stopped, taking a breath while the information sank in. Cid made disapproving noises on his bench, while Merlin nodded sagely.

"Cid, could you see what you can do to get the security system into the castle itself?"

"Whaddya mean? Can't I go ta help?"

"No, we can't leave that computer unattended. I'm not going to leave Ienzo by himself here, either."

"Che! Fine, fine."

Well, he certainly hoped everything was fine.

((OOC: Sorry, had to do some serious modding there. Otherwise the post would've been like "IENZO GOES TO MERLIN'S HOUSE THE END. LOL." Plus, the length makes up for the shitty posts I've been cranking out as of late. D: ))

Now this. This was more like it. There was a barrage of spells, compliments of the lady who had just re-entered the room. Guess she had helped a poor injured little dumpling to escape. Oh well, if they were injured, it would only be too easy to pick them off later.

The man with the eye-patch had done a complete 180 in terms of fighting. One second he had been standing and doing nothing, and the next, he was behind the growling cloaked man. Heh, nice trick, but Five had seen that too many times. He landed swiftly on his feet before turning and springing out of the way, darts just missing him, but tearing a few holes in his cloak. No matter, it was only a cloak. Mid-leap, his focus turned to the lady in pink. Yeah, never hurt a lady. Unless that lady just so happened to want you to die. Then it didn't matter.

Five let out a hissing chuckle under his breath as he landed and sprung again, aimed straight for the staff in her hands. Easy to bite into and pull out of arms that were more occupied by spells than by force.

Well, at least he thought. Until the hardass with the gunblade came throttling into him at full force. Ugh.

The cloaked man hit the ground hard, but did a backwards somersault in order to ease the impact. He heard a few crackles when he hit (probably ribs, but nothing terrible), but sprang back up in an instant, eyes still glowing dangerously.

"Heh heh." A tongue flicked out the side of his mouth, tasting blood. It only heightened his urge to fight, to maim, to kill.

So he hunched, sitting on his haunches as he waited for the next idiot in line.

Going for the gunman, eh? Cloud gripped his sword, ready to take off...just as Aerith burst in with a flurry of magic. What was she thinking!? He'd have to tell her never to do that again, once this figth was won by their side.

The spiky haired man was quite confident that they wouldn't lose, since this man's approach was beyond savage and he was out numbered. He glanced back at Aerith once more, feeling the magic of a Cure spell run through his veins.

Here he came! The savage was coming towards Aerith, and Cloud immediatly stepped in front to block any attack and slice this enemy. Though Leon had jumped in with a load of attacks.

Looking over his shoulder at Aerith once more, Cloud gave a look that said, "Be careful" before taking off to help Leon. That look wasn't reproachful, either. More...greatful. Though she would still get a decent lecture.

Cloud dashed past Leon and this enemy, skidding slightly on the floor as he stopped. He came around the back, hoping to catch this enemy in a corner, leading into a deadly onslought of attacks. When they managed to push him into a wall, the blonde would move out of the way, and continue to attack from the front.

This thing wouldn't be able to leave without a decent set of injuries.
