Ina waited at the bottom of the stairs, rocking back and forth again. She wanted to boys to come~! I wouldn't be fun if they stayed here! They all had to go and get 'colate and candy! Though if Ina had to choose she'd probably bound up the stairs anyhow. Candy was, after all, the way to a child heart. Or something like that.

"Yaaay!" Ina cheered happily when Osha said yes. They were coming, yes yes! She then crawled up the first stair-or rather jumped up the first stair energetically. She wobbled a little, but kept her balance to her tail! Ooo, fluffy tail was useful! She grinned back at the other two, "Come come!"

Osha said yes, and so Gavin would climb the stairs. He stood up, just as wobbly as his new friend, and toddled toward the stairs. With great effort he pulled himself up the first two steps, next to Hakee. He held out his hand toward Osha,

"Help? Need?" he asked. He figured this would be a dual-effort, since neither of them really wanted to go up there in the first place. But the women had won them over again. Ina cheered and called them up higher. Dang, there were a lot of steps to go...

Hell hath no fury like a case of stairs.

Osha drug himself to Gavin's hand, and made an effort to grab it- as well as pull himself up the first obstacle. He figured, since Fluffy pulled him up first, he should pull Gavin up the next stair, and so on.

The toddler blearily looked up at how much further they had to go through a streak of fuschia. He squinted, not wanting to believe just how far it really was.

With a soft grunt and a tap to Ina's shoulder (how the hell did she do this so easily?) Osha managed to pull himself to the top of the next stair, panting a little. He eagerly held out a little hand to Gavin, to help him up as well.

It was like some strange nightmare. The walls bent, they cackled with red, angrily mocking the fact that there were about... a bajillion more to go.
Good god, if Osha didn't know any better, he would think that HakEEE was sprinkling some sort of evil fairy dust that was making this so much harder.

... the first thing that would be done when he grew up, would be installing an elevator. Or one of those handicap ramps, at least.

Haki stared. She giggled, sitting down because there was something incredibly fascinating about watching Osha tackle the obstacle. Curious and just a little bit sadistic, (what would happen if she made him climb to the top?) she giggled. Ina was lucky. And with that thought, she nodded.

"One mo'!" she said, nodding. One counted as the closest number she could get to zero, and zero was a good thing when it came to tasks. See? This was funner than she had expected!

Something about travelling entertainment that took her mind off the boring.

"Osha so gooood~~" she crooned, clapping her hands. Hey. If it worked with Marc (silly man) maybe it would work with everyone else as well!

Ina cocked her head to one side and stared, watching the boys struggle with the steps. Why was it so hard for them? She didn't get it! She had tons of stares at home(because apprently Mommy liked to run up and down stairs or something) so she had lads of pratice. Didn't they have stairs are home too? Because the only way to be able to explore the house completely was to conquer the stairs~! At least, in her home. She didn't figure it was different anywhere else.

She she scrambled up a couple more stairs, scraping her knee slightly on the corner of one, but she didn't seem to notice. Sure, she couldn't hop up all the stairs(she was suprised she jumped the first one) but they weren't so bad~! "Climb, climb, climb...." She hummed as she went, wagging her tail too.

Gavin gladly took Osha's hand for the next stair. Climbing down stairs was no problem for him. Going up stairs was like scaling Everest. After that last one was conquered, he got to the next one and held out a helping hand for Osha. And so the cycle would continue until this mountain of stairs was over.

Ina was humming something. Was it singing time? He was a bit tired for singing, but humming worked for him. As he helped Osha out he started humming his own tune, though it was a little strained as he used all of his strength to help his friend. Hakee was busy clapping her hands at Osha.

Was he to receive no praise for his hard work? Gavin was doing half the job here! Not that he was complaining, but he wanted to know his work was appreciated.

"Gavin no do good too?" he asked.

And so the cycle did continue, until they were relatively at the top.

For some reason, nearing the last of the stairs, Osha suddenly felt a burst of energy- maybe it was the not-quite-so-evil-anymore girls cheering him on (hey, HakEEE was relatively sympathetic, so it seemed, and then the humming!), or maybe it was the fact that he was so relieved to be at the top. Whatever the case, the boy flopped over on the top of wherever they were going and drug Gavin along with him.

"done... now... ?" he panted, too lazy to look around, "Yes...? Yes... ??"

Man, it felt good to conquer a mountain. Except it kind of made you tired, and-

if the others didn't go anywhere now, then it would be considered nap time.

Haki snickered. "Gavin good toooo." she said, nodding her head. She wanted to tuck everyone into her bed and put them to sleep! Like the way she did with her dolls in their doll house.

Hmmm. Personal dolls her size and her intelligence level. That sounded like fun.

Distracted about her goal, she stared at her door, and nodded.

See? She knew how to do this. It was still just slightly open from the last time, so she had no trouble shoving it open with a mighty heave.

"Tsoklate!" she announced.

Oh wait. Not yet, right?

At the top Ina giggled, "Yay~! We did it~! YAY!" She twirled around slightly. smiling wide. "Gavin and Osha good!" She chirped in agreement with Haki, looking around at where they were. Hm...so this was what was a the top of the steps. A big door. Haki's door? Was the 'colate in there?

She suddenly felt her tummy gurgle and looked at Haki with a frown, "'colate now? Now?" She was huuuuungry. All this bouncing around took energy from somewhere after all. She needed more food so she could bounce around more. Or something like that.

With one final heave, Gavin used Osha's help to make up the last step. He collapsed on his bottom, panting and proud that they'd made it. Were they done yet? He didn't really want to go anywhere anymore. Looking at Osha, he nodded.

"Done...yes."

How could tsoklate be worth all of this? An involuntary nap time was creeping up on him. The girls still seemed fairly energized, seeing as Hakee could push open a mighty door. He yawned.

"Make them bring tsoklate out?" he asked his fellow man with a look saying, They seem to want to do all the work...let them?

"We wait here?"

Osha looked at Gavin a moment, blinking as a strand of orange swirled through his eyes. Not having to do anything?
Dude, this guy was a genius.

"Yes!" a happy grin spread across the toddlers face, and he looked to the two girls, "Get tsoklate!"

He and Gavin could occupy themselves if they girls wanted to go in and get the food to bring it back to them. After all, men don't do that kind of thing!

Get? Vaguely feeling as if she was being sent to fetch something, (wasn't that something people like Ina were supposed to do instead?) Haki's brows furrowed into a look of concentration.

Well. She HAD wanted to come up here, and it had been fun, seeing the way the two boys had made such an effort of climbing a few stairs. "Now." she answered agreeably, and nodded at Ina.

"Go in?" she asked. She could bring the chocolate. She knew where Marc hid the good stuff-- you would think a grown man would put it somewhere high up, away from greedy hands. But he kept it in the low cupboard, behind the dish washing powder.

She knew this because she'd already eaten half the supply.

Stepping inside the house, she turned to look back at Ina. "'na?"

Ina frowned, looking extremely put out. They weren't all going in there? No way! The boys had to come too if they wanted any! Her nose wrinkled and her tail stiffened slightly and she looked extremely grumpy. It was no fun when all the boys wanted to do was sit!

She sent a glare at the boys before toddling over after Haki. Once inside she whispered to the other girl, "They no get some, cause they stay outside!" That would serve them right for not coming...or something. It'd leave more for them anyway.

Rocking back and forth on his bum, Gavin felt quite smug seeing the girls running in to fetch them tsoklate. He was even gladder (which was totally a word in his mind) that Osha was waiting with him. The girls whispered something to each other, but he chose to ignore that.

He looked toward Osha. It had been his idea to get the girls to go inside, so now it was Osha's turn to be a genius.

"What we do now?"

Osha looked like a sudden weight was lifted off his shoulders when the girls left. For some reason, he felt comfortable just around Gavin when they were alone- like two of the guys! Plus, he was going to be waited on. That was always a bonus.

"Play..." he thought for a moment, gaining a slight pout of intelligence, "Clap! We play clap! Yes?"

The toddler held out his two hands, in gesture to play the clapping games that school girls did. If Gavin wanted to, he'd teach him his l337 clapping skills- after all, him and his mom did this often. He was a pro.
