Izayoi Kyoya Well I wasn't arguing against it really, I was just making a point so it would be easier to assess where Burori's power is. And about the SSJ Burori destroying a galaxy... Remember the device on his head that restricted his ascension into LSJ? I'm certain he had it then as he only lost it when fighting Kakarotto and crew... and we know that galaxy wasn't destroyed afterward. But IIRC, Goku was able to teleport to the South Quadrant and sense that Broly had been there recently. The place was torn apart, but not completely nuked. When King Kai said that a mysterious Saiyan had "torn apart" the South Quadrant, he meant that Broly went on a rampage and blasted everything in sight, but didn't completely vaporize it.

What are you talking about? Look at the beginning of the movie and you'll see a GALAXY disintergrating. It's literally collasping within a few seconds. I don't know where exactly they were at when Kakarotto teleported, but it wasn't the place Burori destroyed. You do know that saying a galaxy is destroyed MEANS it is DESTROYED. Planets, stars, moons, systems.... all of that... gone! There couldn't be any place for them to hang out and have a spot of tea.
Oh and once again, i'm going by subbed, not dubbed. Kai clearly said that the whatever galaxy was destroyed. He said nothing of "torn apart" in my subbed video.

Word.
Brolli was shot into the sun with a Triple Kamehameha.
The Blast didn't destroy the sun.
The Sun and Blast busted open his poor green heart.
Brolli blacking out a galaxy with his own power is just silly.

The Japanese also have varying definitions of "Dying" "Death" and "Dead."
I'm sure "Destroyed" may have a double meaning.
And the vaporizing galaxy was simply a way to dramatize Brolli decimating all life in that Galaxy.

Therefore I will not take serious the translation funimation did on the anime. They have it as "torn apart", my subbed has it as destroyed. Knowing funimation's track record, I'll take the latter as the actual scenario for the South Galaxy (especially when you ACTUALLY see the galaxy being destroyed)

Just like you actually see Goku following Brolli's ki to that destroyed galaxy and landing on a planet that was ravaged.
Toriyama is a funny guy.

You do know that was still the current galaxy (read: North Galaxy) that they were in?

Even the narrator's words, "The South Galaxy has just been destroyed . . . by a Super Saiyan" came to mind.

It always seemed to me that he did that by individually targeting a bunch of ki blasts and firing them all at once to take out each star, planet, etc. with one shot each.

@SMV: No problems. That can happen to the best of us.
@Das: The issue with that analogy is that that method wouldn't leave him enough time to destroy the galaxy as fast as they demonstrated the galaxy being destroyed in the beginning of that movie.
Edit: But believe me, I do believe it was more than one blast. I just don't believe that it was done individually.
Editx2: I take that back. I've never known anyone in the DBU to have the firepower to do their ultimate destruction in more than one blast. Frieza death ball planet destroyer, Cell (hyperbole) kameha solar system destroyer.. so why not Burori with whatever being a galaxy destroyer. No DBU character has yet to use multiple ki blast to do their upper most destruction, so it shouldn't be no different here.

SMV keeps saying that Cell's Kameha blast would have destroyed the solar system.

He was referring to the Kamehameha he fired, as he said it while charging the beam.
