((The main problem with the training arena is that it's incredibly hard to match up opponents fairly. Stats alone aren't enough to judge by when someone can have a few very powerful items. Deejarne and Yudou outstrip a normal Dream even if it's a Celestial or Poison more often then not. Not to mention special dreams with upped stats are wild cards in the equation. No matter how I've tried to make it fair, all i end up with is incredibly complex. I'm pretty sure folks don't want something that is so complex that it takes 5 min to make certain that what they are doing is allowed. Unfortunatly all I can do is encourage people to pick sparring partners before they enter the waiting list. Prizes are awarded whether the dream wins or loses just so that the effort of entering is not wasted. 2 Stat points will be awarded to the winner and 1 stat point to the loser. Deejarne that fight in the arena will gain a Combat Point to add to leveling their Deejarne's special skill. I'm going to be enacting the rule that it takes 2 stat points to up Luck by 1 point, 1 stat point is equal to 5 health points, and Attack and Defense are equal 1 to 1. I'm also working on refineing combat fighting rules, which I hope will be finished tonight before this battle gets much further. sweatdrop *Lightly smacks FC with a paper fan cause now he HAS to get it done and stop dwadling over how to word it all pretty like* xd ))

May nodded and agreed not to hold back before eading back to her side. She took a few deep breaths before slowly beginning to sway almost. It was like she was starting to hear the rhythm of the battle beginning and she couldn't help but start to move to it.

((This would kind of be like her activating her combat dancer skills. I didn't know how else to phrase it. sweatdrop I don't think that effects the stats right? It gives up the chances of not getting hit if I remember....also, I think the fact that Llyod has weapons and spells evens it out a bit more considering that May doesn't have anything. The inventory should also be counted when pairing up I think. Personally, I see nothing worng with this pairing. May has higher stats but Llyod looks like he has more tricks up his sleeve while May has a minor one.))

Order of the turns:

May: 95
Loyd 60

And May gets to go first, but since she already used an attack, it is time to roll up that too.

May uses Combat Dancer.

Combat Dancer adds on a 15% chance of May avoiding an attack sent by Loyd.

It is now Loyds turn to attack.

Lloyd blinked and tilted his head at Maylera. He didn't hear any music, so why was she... dancing? Oh well. At his turn, he took out both of his swords and held them firmly in his paws. His Exsphere shone brightly around him, making him stronger as he ran forward, then he leapt into the air and brought his swords down, attacking with both the Exsphere Combat power and his swords' power.

Exsphere adds +5 to defence.

May rolls a 34 (need <15 to dodge attack) Attack was successfull

21 is greater than Mays defence of 15

21-15 =6

6 damage to helth is delt to May leaving her with 39 health

May glances up as she is hit but quickly regains her rythm. She then turns and attacks Lloyd in a single fluid and graceful motion.

Lloyd reeled back from the attack, cursing as he gripped his swords, feeling stronger with their strength adding to his. He charged at Maylera again, attacking her while his Exsphere glowed once more.

(Don't the swords add +5 to his attack?)

Loyd uses his attack and Exsphere (you dont need to do this each round...becuase you already have the guidance ^^; wink

1d6 (6) + (Combat Guidance) 1 + (Sword )5 + 12 = 24

May rolls a 78, she does not dodge the attack.

24 is greater than the defence of 15

24-15 = 9

9 Damage is delt to May leaving her with 30 health

May is knocked backwards from the attack but she regains her footing and countinues to sway to the beat of the battle. She lunges gracefully once again for Llyod and hits him with a second attack.
