"A few," Aiko said in a grunt as she demon lept onto the dragon and set Ortensia down next to Corli, then held a hand down for Paine to scramble up with.
Ortensia blinked, then shied away from Corli.
Shippou lept up in a similar fashion.
Chii shadow melded and slid up Dav's side.
Julia, however, held her hands up to Lyra.
"Up!"
"... I hate being so small," Ed grumbled, only to be consoled by his brother.
"Even I'm too small to get up on that very... very big dragon."
Nigel waited behind to make sure everyone had gotten up.

Lyra blinked down at the little skunk anthro before smiling a little. As if she might break, he lifted her gently and placed her on the back of the dragon, behind her 'siblings.'
"There you go, sweetheart," he said softly. Once she was situated, he turned back to the two little cats still down on the ground. They reminded him of Blank, oddly enough.
"You guys need a hand?" He said, swishing his tail lightly. Please, don't chew on my ears! I need what's left!

Julia giggled as Lyra lifted her up, and if skunks could, she blushed.
Al bowed and said 'hai!' as Ed hung his head and looked sheepishly up at Lyra.
Lucas flittered up to Julia and landed on her.
"Cookie?"
"Cookie!" Julia repeated and clapped her hands joyfully on Dav's back.
Pity Aiko's entire family was afraid of the big dragon...

Reaching down to scoop up the pair, Lyra laid his ears back slightly. They were just as cute, and he smiled ad their comradship. Had to be brothers.
Carefully, he reached up, up, up, sending Paine a questioning look before slowly sliding the pair into her lap.
" 'Scuse me," he said.

"Can't... resist..." Ed squirmed and managed to n** the tip of Lyra's ear before being deposited into Paine's lap.

Lyra's eye twitched just a little as he felt those needle like teeth just barely grab his ear. Gah. Kittens. He wondered for the millionth time why he liked them so much.
"Are we ready?" He turned to Nigel, who was obviously waiting for all of the younger ones to...well, board.

Ed curled into Paine's lap and purred as she wrapped her arms around the kittens to keep them secure.
Nigel scrambled ontop of Dav and sat in the back... and groaned as Aiko put her hand to her mouth, mimicing an announcer's voice.
"Please keep all hands and feet to yourself during the flight, and stay seated until the dragon has come to a full and complete stop. Thank you for flying dragon air, and have a safe trip!" She giggled to herself. Ahh, priceless! She was amused.

With that, Dav took a little running start and took off with a few beats of his powerful wings. He grinned a little, feeling quite priveledged to carry such wonderful younglings.

Lyra sighed and took off his shirt so he wouldnt' rip it when his wings came out. Dear merciful heaven, it was going to be cold by the time he got back to the island. With a pop! they sprouted from his back and he took off, behind Dav.

Aiko laughed as her entire family giggled/laughed as they took off. The feeling flying like this could never, ever be duplicated.
Unless...
Aiko couldn't help but watch Lyra take off his shirt, resisting the urge to coo like a little child. It was hard keeping yourself in check while in front of your family!
Ortensia, who had gotten over her initial shyness of Corli and sat in Aiko's lap, turned around and looked up at her guardian. The two blinked at each other for a moment before the smaller lifted a hand to poke underneith Aiko's nose, bringing it back to reveal blood on it.
"Ack!" Aiko squeeked as she dug around in her jacket pockets. Surely she had some tissue somewhere...
And she sat with a plugged nose the rest of the way back to the island.

From inside, Jayde's sensitive ears could pick up the flapping of large wings. Not that it took sensitive ears to hear Dav flying--it was almost like a crack of lightening through the cold air. Leaving her guests for a moment, she stepped outside to see them approach.
Aiko must be getting the sniffles, she thought, she's already having to get tissue! But instead of commenting, she waves and welcomed them back.

The bloody tissue, by this time, was through of its usefulness.
"Ah, we're almost there!" Aiko held Ortensia and Corli closer as their decent started.
"It's pretty..." she heard Paine mutter. Perhaps this was an understatement as the entire island seemed to sparkle like gems.
"Pretty, pretty!" Julia cooed and clapped her little hands together.

Keeping in mind his precious cargo, Dav carefully landed in the powdery snow, which had gotten just a little bit thinner with the ice demon's abscense.
Not much thinner. But a little bit.
"Thank you for riding Dragon Air," he said, mimicking Aiko. Jayde, from the balcony, nearly fell laughing so hard. She was sure she'd missed something, but that was funny hearing Dav talk like he was a fire-breathing plane. An interesting concept.

Before the little ones could start sliding off of their own occord, Lyra hopped off the side of the dragon and looked up at all of them.
"Aiko, you wanna hand them down to me?" Smooth, Lyra thought to himself. Ah, well, who had designated him boarding coordinator anyway?

In response to Lyra's question, Dav moved to settle down on the ground so he was low enough for her to do so.
Blinking at all the kiddies, Jayde promptly returned to the house to fetch more hot cocoa and cookies.
