Nah, you don't "have" to have a halo to become a mod. I know plenty of people who are mods/have been mods who don't have halo's as well as people who have more than one who are not mod's. It would be quie a silly rule, especially if someone took a few years off of gaia and came back with like 5 halo's in their inventory mad D

Mind you, many of them have had sucessful threads or have contributed alot to Gaia. I think that that's they key. Also, I believe they do have some say in the referral of others to become mod's.

@Shadow- Yeah, I was really lucky lol. Things were alot different then though. If it happened today, I doubt I would get it back. I usuially only let a few of my friends borrow my stuff....and well my sister, but she just takes it all and doesn't other to return it mad D

Nakago is correct. Maybe the Mod's who nominate Helpers who are promoted to Mods later think if you have a Halo you should know a lot about the forums and what not.

The only thing Halo symoblizes is the lack of your outgoing (reffers to people who joined after 2004).

Yeah Ry. Dragon... has nt many pixels to his name... but hes a good member and friend. (Also cos he spends all is moneh on art) cos he has no faith in questing.... sweatdrop

You give them a deposit of gold or item to borrow there item

Say like you wanna borrow a coco

Then you pay them say like 20k

Then you try it on for abit

Then you trade it back to the person and the person gives you the 20k back.

They do that so IF you d take it

They still have somehting.

@[DJ] = Totally right. Everyone borrows NIRI's stuffs. xD I'd let him borrow something of mine but he has everything I have in my inventory. xP

If it's possible, I'd like to borrow some winged anklets until I can get mine.

I was lended penguins before. But only for half-an-hour. ;o I felt like keeping them.
