So, my little bro's starting band this year. I tried to get him to play some brass instrument, but he picked the Alto instead. confused I'm gonna get him to switch to the Tenor, though, eventually. ^^;;

I started off playing trombone in 6th and the beginning of 7th grade, but then our director wanted more lower brass instruments and I wanted something low-low because I could play low notes easily. My director put me into the tuba section and I dominated! domokun I am the first and only girl tuba in my school \m/

wOOt! You go girl! I'm also the only girl tuba...as well as the only tuba in high school lol...actually...the only other tuba in our band program is in middle school...which makes...two of us! wOOt!..Yeah....I need a life lol...
Anyone else noticed how much air you have to pump to be a sousa player? Or even a tuba player at that...talk about hyperventalating lol

I know! When I was first learning how to play it (which was only for a half our after school like... twice then after that I was on my own) after we were done I was so light-headed! @_@ But I can wail on that thing just as good as any other guys in my section.. I can play as loud and as low as Hungry (that's his nickname... it fits him so well) who is like... 300 pounds x_x;; so... girl tubas OWN! xd

IM BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THATS RIGHT IM DONe CRYING ^___^ i will ways miss her but wat the hell can we do since we cant wat we want w/ OUR money. I got my morals up learning a new candance that only me since im the only baritoen will do. i spin my baritone all the way around and im so happy i can do it ^___^ than we had our hometown fair that we always march in. one of my firends was sick and still marching which made me sad ;_; reminds hte time i did seomthing stupid like that and passed out sweatdrop o well lets see i worked at the soda booth to get more money and yeah me and my firends go to round table every home game. my section leader normally drives us or my other friends that can drive. our section has our own closeest biggrin so we saving tickets for a gum ball machine and a some kewl lights ^___^ laters ill be back!!!

Y'know how I was talking about PYSO, the orchestra I tried out for? Well, I made it, and I even beat two other older trombonists. @_@; I'm still second chair, but STILL. gonk *feels special* It's not as hard as I thought it would be, eitehr. <33

I play trombone, and bassoon (bassoon in concert band) I've played trombone for 6 years and can play until I pass out what a feat... my section sucks in band. theres 2 tubas, 2 baritones, 4 tenors and me... So I get to kill myself every competition trying to play the high parts....

When my little sister was going to join band, she decided to go into orchestra. It was the second year my school district had it.. Now instead of some sweaky woodwind or blatty brass intrument I hear her dying animal she calls a viola. x_x;;

i hate high notes too!>< i had to play like everything up a octive since the french horns couldnt play s*** o well. i play super low parts now since i play tuba parts o.O o well thxs for pplz that actually noticed that iw as gone ^___^ and hello some pplz i think are new welcome welcome

Low notes are a sinch... so are like middle notes.. I can get kinda high.. I can play a high D comfortably. High E is okay.. anything higher than that is kinda iffy but not bad. We never really go above high F, really.

Yeah. The highest I'm really comfortable with is a high D. E flat is all right, too, but it's all downhill from there. >>;
We once had a high A in a "Hello Dolly" piece last year. @_@; Luckily, the second trombonist plays uber-high notes well. ^^"

we lost yet another football game wow this is like crazy compared to last year where we won by double the points but this year half the team was suspended for like robbery and beating up another kid.
i came up with a new cadence where i spin my baritoen around and half spin it than spin it around again its awsome i messed up alot on our march back but ehh watever still looks kewl im glad im the only one so i can do watever i want xp
