Eh, enough of the character bashing, people! Geez, so what if Aerith has a flower? Flowers are pretty, dammit! That's why we like them 3nodding As for Tifa's "endowments," it really depends. Personally, I blame Tetsuya Nomura and the rest of the FF7 staff for designing her that way, but instead of a bikini, I'd prefer to see her in a one piece. Same with Aerith, except Aerith's could have flower prints on it 3nodding . Yuffie is a tad underdeveloped, but still has some sort of cuteness to her that people seem to adore. Elena, being professional, would probably chose something classy... I think I'd vote for Elena.

That's a good idea.
Modesty looks great on girls (this might sound weird COMING from one) sweatdrop . And I could imagine Elena in a nice navy blue one piece with maybe a white neck design or something.
And no skimpy one pieces either.
As for the guys...*still wants to see Cid in his wetsuit*...heh...heh heh...but I don't think Barret would work...or Vincent.
Okay Cloud and Cid in wetsuits. Blonde guys always look good in them (nothing against non-blondes...you look good too...I'm just pointing out Barret and Vincent for this part) sweatdrop ...and I think Vincent's a tad skinny to pull it off...and Barret a bit too muscular. Cloud and Cid are the perfect proportion for something like that. 3nodding sweatdrop heart

Not to be mean or anything, but could people please SPELL AERITH'S NAME RIGHT? scream It's not Aries, that's a god of war. Nor is it Aeries, Areis, or whatever. It's just so frustrating, because that is one of the things the game spells right. Fanfiction is bad enough when they do this.... stressed
Also, with regards to what was said earlier: I would prefer a NORMAL one-piece swimsuit for the ladies, if they had to wear one. Those skimpy ones are trash and just scream the words "FAN SERVICE!" Tifa could even wear one of those wet suits that Taylor_Highwind really wants to see Cid in. 3nodding Aerith could go in a cute pearly pink one piece swimsuit that could have some sort of flower print on it (nothing too extravagant, though), and Yuffie could wear a those swim suits that involve a crop top of some sort with swimming shorts. Elena would look good in a solid colored one piece, like the one Taylor_Highwind suggested.
As for Cid, he would look absoFUGGINlutely gorgeous in a wet suit, especially if he just came back from a short swim. whee All the women on the beach would drop dead from his hotness... Barret MUST wear the sailor suit he got in the game, since, after all, he'd look like a teddy bear wearing a marshmallow, which is exactly what we want 3nodding Cloud would look great in either swimming trunks or a wet suit, but come on... Vincent, in a speedo? I doubt someone who's from a generation roughly 30 YEARS AGO would wear something like that... He'd be mortified, humiliated, and would transform into Chaos or something and kill the beach goers for fear that they might speak of this particular faux pas. He would probably be the type to wear something to hide his body, like maybe a shirt (t-shirt, probably) and shorts/swimming trunks. That, or he'd wear what he usually wears...with a bit of sunscreen spread over his nose. xd

While we're at it, let's throw in the rest of the Turks, Rufus, and-- hell, why not?-- Hojo! hehe it confused me, the first time in costa de sol when you see hojo - no matter how hot it may be he still manages to bask in the sun with his lab coat on xd

Oh my freakin' God... how many of you fantasize about Tifa in a bikini (or less, for that matter)? Just because she's got breasts the size of a melon doesn't mean that you can treat her like some sex icon. Tifa COULD wear a bikini, along with the other girls, but it wouldn't look that good, mostly because she'd be dead from drowning in fanboy's saliva from their constant drooling.

Vincent in a speedo...BARF ME OUT! GAG ME WITH A SPOON! (yes I did rip that from the 80's song "Valley Girl") That's like...50 YEAR OLD IN A THONG UGH NOT COOL!!!
Especially in that pale complexion...okay let's review:
Cid=30. 30-40 year olds can get away with...maybe a speedo, definitely a wetsuit..if they're in good shape. And of course, anyone younger than that most likely has a chance (like Cloud).
Vincent=Well we ALL know he's around 50...even though the booklet says he's 28 rolleyes (yeah right...)...yuckie. Okay, 50 year olds in good shape might be able to get away with it...someone who's 50 but doesn't LOOK 50...but Vincent's all skinny and pale...no muscle...yuck...I'd keel over and die if I saw THAT on a beach.

Cloud could get away with probably anything. But I'd rather not see ANY of these guys in speedos, so I won't suggest that.
And Barret...um...too buff for a wetsuit...too BIG for a speedo...too silly in a sailor suit...maybe just...one of those body board shirts and shorts or something?
