Vegetarian joke:
If Vegetarians eat vegetables, what do humanitarians eat?! eek

About the calcium that i lose from not drinking milk, you can buy calcium fortified orange juice, which I do, It's designed specifically for people who dont' drink milk, so you don't miss out on any nutrients.

A vegetarian diet would be so refreshing, seeing as my dad makes too many meals with an overabundance of red meat. I just don't like the texture, or how the oils feel in my mouth.
And I would love to drink skim milk, since I can't have any in the house. I know I hate diet food, but I'm fat enough as it is. And I don't want to take calcium pills. Not to mention I'm only 4'11, and drinking all that milk in high school did nothing for me!!! DDDDDDDDDDX
But low-fat dairy products tend to have a high amount of lactose, higher than their high-fat dairy cousins. Maybe I should start drinking soy. I tried soy, but it was kind of sugary... Darn, I would love to drink orange juice again, if only I didn't have to deal with people drinking from the carton. xp

Ballerina Galoshes (ugh I hate people that drink out of the carton it's so inconsiderate and gross) Yeah, tell me about it. xp I'm lucky enough to open a fresh, new carton just so I can drink something that doesn't have someone's saliva in it. But yeah, too much meat makes my stomach foul. I rarely eat red meat unless I'm seriously craving it, after a lack of real nutrients. I hate how restaurants plump your portions. Look, I'm fat, and I say this. I would like to finish a meal rather than get so full that I can't walk, only after eating only half of it. Some people's stomachs can carry a lot, mine can't, so I try to eat small and drink lots of water. I try to watch what I eat because I think I have a stomach problem, but I don't really want to diet either, because I've been dieting nearly my whole life. But sometimes I overeat because I'm feeling low, or if I'm missing some nutrients, which is what usually happens when people diet.

I suggest that EVERYONE should take a multi vitamin the quality of food has gone down so most people dont get the proper nutrition anyhow I take mine everyday ^^

I wish I could still take the chewable ones. I'm not really for the genetic mutation of foods, but I wish they'd hurry up and make some fertilizer to improve the nutritional value of produce. Because then it would be just like Harvest Moon. ^^ I wonder if I'm the only person in the world who is allergic to walnuts and pecans, but not almonds or peanuts. My dad says I'm not allergic to anything, but what the hell does he know? My stomach isn't that bad, just reacts funny sometimes to some foods, even very healthy ones like whole grain bread. But that can be a predictor of a more serious disease like diabetes. Speaking of which, I have heard that some sugar-free products have added sodium, which can dehydrate you if you consume too much of it.

Trust me a multi vitamin is the easiest route to go not the best... but the easiest it's very common in women (especially after a pregnancy and during the later years of life) to develope a minor intolerance for different types of animal proteins which can cause an unsettled stomach or even worse nausea also an overabundance of yeast can cause an ill feeling as well so next time you feel sick maybe try cutting back on breads and other types of things like that Im a total nut junkie I love pecans that sucks major but Im allergic to coco so no chocolate for me

I can do fine with crackers, though. My stomach is strange. The TV and magazines are all like "RAWR YOU NEED WHOLE GRAINS!", but some people are gluten-intolerant or allergic to wheat. And I tried the low-carb thing, only with light meat, but the body needs some starches to absorb the oils and acids from meats and fruits and medication. I don't trust diet food anyway; most of it is overprocessed and it doesn't taste very good. Lucky for me I don't plan on getting pregnant, at least anytime soon (I'm still in school, getting a degree). I'll have to forsake most of my favorite foods, and I'll even find some of them distasteful. And then the baby will not like the foods that I won't like if I get pregnant, and it'll like the weird stuff I was craving. O__o Wait, is that really true?!

No "deck of cards" steaks for them. And beef jerky comes from Native Americans, and I'm sure, other early cultures as well. So, ways of preserving meat were known. I would imagine that burying it in the snow or stashing it in an igloo was another method, as well as drying fish, practiced by most "primitive" cultures living near lakes and the oceans. Of course, none of them had a dietary plan in mind. Just an empty belly.

So, they got lots of illnesses and died. mrgreen Plus, I don't think the hunterers/gatherers cared much for vegetation, so that didn't ward off illness much. P.S. Cats don't have lips so of course they don't care. XP

A delicious alternitive I like rather than going to starbucks for frappicinos is Caffe D'Amore Frappe-Freeze. It has 0 fat and trans fat and 14g of sugar a serving.. all you use is ice, water and milk. it tastes great and gets you that coffee fix you desire.

I am new here, but I have noticed good veggie and carb food here. I am sooo jealous. See my problem is the opposite of most people. I have P.C.O.S. and am worst than most cases. My problem is carbs good and bad are just bad for me. I eat like 3 cups of salad a day cause its low carbs. The rest is seafood and chicken and turkey cause its low on cholesterol compared to red meats. It bites cause I love my pastas and rices and starches. crying I can't even have a soda pop. Lol I have to drink diet rootbeer or diet sprite cause it has no carbs no sugar no calories (they fail to meantion bad or no taste) lol It is really hard cause I still cook my family's meals and they always have tons of carbs . Be nice to see some no or very little carb recipies. thx 4laugh
