Kumo simply nodded silently at this, but his eyes widened as he heard the breathing stop. "She's...Gone," he said softly to himself as he took took her pulse, yet felt nothing. Just a cold, empty feeling. He wiped his face as several tears dripped down. He hadnt even known the woman a whole day, yet he already felt her as a friend. He sighed as he turned to face Shadow, then back at the girl. "We'll take the bodies back to Konoha," he added faintly to himself as he set a hand on the dog, who even then seemed to stop moving.
Kumo turned to face down the path, sensing movement as he clutched a kunai in his hand, yet his group lessened as he saw who was coming. Matsuri.

Yari had began running toward the area toward where he had orginaly felt dEx's presence and then discovered he was to late and saw his teammate now died with kumo Yari looked at kumo and said " Im sorry for this " Yari then walked away saying he will hunt the other's down.

Matsuris eyes went wide when she reached the spot were the bat told her to go, seeing Dex lying dead."Wh-what..." She studdered while stopping in her tracks now wishing that her eyes were telling her lies or something.
She then had her bangs cover her eyes as she walked tords Kumo," Who did this?" She asked while glancing tords Shadow thinking' Dex is too stronge to be killed by most shinobi's and the wound looks like a bullet hole however there's something differnt about it,..' She thne glanced over her shoulder to watch Yari walk away. "..."

Before Yari left he told Matsuri " I will kill these people " Yari looked at the body and saw the mark and headed toward the new village since Yari hadn't seen any weapon's of the sort in the other village's.

"Alright," She muttered when hearing Yari nopt sure if he could hear her however she dint care right now. She then looked up tords Kumo with a small sigh." We have to make sure that we her body back to leaf so that they can watch it and clean it up." Pause while looking back tords tords the sky. "We also have to presurve the body..We cant have Dex and Shadow come back with a zombi like body." She said with a small smile.

Kumo glanced at Matsuri and nodded then. "Leave that to me..." he said faintly, before creating a few handseals, then setting a hand on the body, then another, and another. A thin webbing began to form from his finger tips as he wrapped the webbing around te dead bodies until they were a pair of white cocoons. "The webs should be enough to keep the bodies preserved for a while," he said faintly as he looked down at them. "Now we just have to take them back," he added as he lifted dEx's body up, then motioned over to Shadow's. "Help me to the docks," he said softly towards Matsuri before turning and making his way down the path.

Matsuri watched the web appeare around the two bodies and nodded her head when hearing him. 'Nidaime hokage better have her come back before the web stops to work,..'Thinking this to her self while picking up Shadow. She dint know why she din't tell kumo about how some people come back and some dont because she did not want to bring up any hope that could brake.
"Okay," She said whiel walking after him.

"When I first came for this mission, no one told me people would die. I thought it would be a simple mission. Retrieve or kill the missing nin...It wasnt supposed to be like this, was it?" Kumo asked faintly, as he turned, glancing back at Matsuri as he tied his headband back on with a free hand.

"In almost every mission that conserns a missing ninja there will be death, either the one your hunting or you."She said while looking back tords him. " Even people who have nothing to do with it,...It may sound pathitic however us ninja's are tools." She said with no expression thinking abotu something that one told her along time ago.

"And like tools many of us are thrown away once we become broken," Kumo replied in a rather icy tone as he sighed faintly. "Perhaps you could've said that before we even started this mission," he added softly, shaking his head as he continued along the path.

" Sometimes the truth isn't needed, false hope is." She said while looking back ahead tords him then looked back tords the village having her eyes narrow,'Theres something odd about thsi village..The shadows...' Shook her head and looked up tords the docks.

"If I have your permission...I'd like to abandon this mission for a while after we return the bodies," Kumo said after several moments of silence. "I dont think Im ready for any of this yet...And at the rate your going, I doubt you'll ever have time to train me...So perhaps I should take my leave for a while," he added before pausing, watching Matsuri. "Something wrong?"

Matsuri blinked abit when hearing him. "If you do need to." She said with a small nod of her head." However I do wish that you try to get use to it before something dose happen...Ill send one of my bats or Takamaru to you if such an event happens before you are ready," She said with a small pause while looking back tords the shadows.
"Its nothing..." Saying this as she continued to walk tords the docks.

Matsuri gave another yawn as she walked threw the gates of Night village, having this place make her even more tied then she was earlier. The child then looked around with slight narrowed eyes, mostly leeping her eyes on the shadows having a feeling that she was not alone (well besides the bat).
"Watching and waiting,.." She muttered under her breath while starring at what seemed nothing. However when eharing a small noise the child ended up throwing three kunai's tords the direction.
The bat on her shoulder did not seem to care, either way this was a troublemsome situation and he hated every moment of it."...." (1-10)
