Mayu accepted the clothes hanger happily. She tried to get the hanger's hook onto the knob, but found it was too... short? No, that couldn't be. Maybe it was her that was too short to reach the knob.
"Short.." Mayu muttered, frowning.
Kimiko was halfway through her fifth room when she heard Huni scream from downstairs. "COMING!" she replied, dropping everything and dashing back downstairs. Finding the room that Huni was in, she poked her head through the door. "Yes?"
The sheets on the bed were all frumpled, there was a colorful umbrella discarded on the floor, and there was a cardboard box thoughtfully pushed up to the closet door. She walked briskly over to the closet door and held her ear up to it, and lo and behold -- the sound of two little girls!
"Mayu and Paestri are in the closet," Kimiko said, frowning. It was quite obvious already, but she had to state it anyway.

"I figured as much, just thought it would be best we find them at the same time." Huni nodded, "Do you want to do the honors? Or shall I?"
Paestri tapped her chin thoughtfully before piling the shoeboxes on top of each other near the door. "Mebbe leach now?"

"We pull at the same time?" Kimiko shrugged, though she didn't really care. She was just happy to find the kids.
"Okey, I try." Mayu crawled to the top of the pile, wielding her plastic coat hanger in the right hand. Hooking the hanger to the doorknob, she gave a thumbs up and counted down. "Won, doo, tree..."
"One, two, three.. pull!"

At Mayu's count she pushed at the door, and upon finding it swung open tumbled out of the closet still dressed in the pink fluffy robe. She gave a soft oof as she fell onto the carpetted floor. Her icing pink eyes were greeted by the sight of shoes. Four pairs of shoes. No, wait, just two pairs, her double vision had cleared up.
With a twist and a yank, Huni pulled open the door together with Kimi.
"Are you two okay?" Huni asked, kneeling down to pick up her little girl.

Mayu toppled off the tall stack of shoeboxes as the door was yanked open, dropping the clothes hanger and falling onto the carpet. She sniffled, looking up at Kimiko and Huni. That had.. hurt!
Kimiko scooped Mayu off of the carpeted floor, giving her a little kiss on the forehead.
"Why did you two run away like that? You two had us all worried!" The black-haired girl frowned, though gave a small smile to show that she wasn't angry. She was way more glad that they had found the toddlers.

"I tin' so..." Paestri began, rubbing her eyes. "We no lun away, we wen' splolin'!" she declared proudly, "Mayu so smal'!" she adds in praise.
"Pae thinks Mayu is smart," Huni explains, it wasn't easy understanding the pink-haired Legend's words if you were unfamiliar with her lisp. "But you still should have told us where you were going! It was very scary not knowing where you two were."

Mayu rubbed her eyes as well, then nodded in agreement. "Fun!" she stated, as she couldn't think of anything else to say that hadn't already been said.
"Ah," Kimiko nodded in understanding, giving a small smile to Paestri. "Thank you! And yes, exactly what Huni said!"
She wagged her finger at Mayu and Paestri scoldingly, though couldn't help but laugh. She felt too silly to be acting in such a serious manner.

Like Kimi, Huni couldn't find it in herself to be angry at the two toddlers. After all, they were just playing in the HQ and they didn't intend to get locked in the closet.
"Next time you two go 'splolin' be sure to tell us. So we can prepare something to eat when you get back. Do you two want to catch a bite to eat?" Huni offered, "I know this little cafe, my treat."
"Ya!! Nummy!!" Paestri cheered, "Mayu go der?" she asked her new friend.

Kimiko smiled. "A cafe sounds nice. Let me pay for something, at least?" She flashed a pair of puppy eyes, hating to have others take the full bill for her.
"Yay!" Mayu threw her arms out happily. Cafes were so fun, and they had those yummy cakes too!

"Oh no, wouldn't think of it. Not after all the trouble Paestri made you go through." Huni insisted as she began to get herself and the dark skinned Legend ready to leave.
"Yaaaaaay!!!" Paestri cheered in delight. She couldn't wait to show Mayu what orders were the good ones. She hopes Mayu liked sweets.

Kimiko sighed, most people would gladly take on the offer of having one less thing to pay for.
"Well, if you insist." She followed suit, taking a moment to pick up the umbrella that had been a key instrument in getting the door open for little Mayu and Paestri. "They have good taste," she commented, looking over the colorful fabric.
Mayu clapped and giggled, she loved sitting outside beneath the large shades and ordering from the menus. It made her feel.. fancy, as one would say it.

"Hmm?" Huni began and glanced back to see the umbrella. "Yes, they do. Right this way..." Huni grinned as she opened the door of the HQ. She led them all to the cafe, it wasn't that far a walk but it would certainly encourage one's appetite.
Paestri clung to her mama and squealed in delight when the familiar sight of the cafe came into view. "Der! Der!" she pointed, just to make sure Huni saw it.

Kimi slipped the umbrella into the holder on her way out, hoping its owner wouldn't mind it being used by two babies for a short period of time.
Mayu clapped happily as she saw the cafe with its distinctive umbrella-tables, as all cafes had out front. She was already planning out what she wanted to order, and was wondering if they would have the items of which she thought on the menu.

A young man with a goatee waved to them while he bussed a table.
"Hiya Miss Huni, how many for today?"
"For four, Josh. And have two of the seats be high chairs." She instructed to the youth. "I'm a regular here." she explained to Kimi.
"Jooooooo!!!" Paestri greeted brightly, recognizing him from all those times she had eaten here.

Kimi nodded, looking around the cafe with interest. She would have to mark the spot in her mind so that she could return at a later date, with the whole family.
"Joo?" Mayu echoed, looking over at the man. Ah, that guy with the silly goatee was Joo! She waved with her free arm, other wrapped around Kimiko's neck in fear of falling.
