Lol, we discussed it yesterday in English. Let's put it this way. Mexico owed England and France a bunch of money. But France decided that they wanted the Mexican land instead. But Mexico didn't like that. So they came over (Abe Lincoln was our president at the time) But we couldn't help them cuz we were in the civil war. So the French started marching to a city, Mexico was outnumbered but defeated them. BUT the French sent reinforcements, our civil war was over so we helped them out and they won on May 5th (Cinco: fifth de: of Mayo: May). Now you can go tell everyone at school and look smart. xd
