What you like to play: Metal, but I can adapt any style Songs you can play: If I listed them all, this would take up more of your time, so let's just leave it to way too many! Been to any concerts: I've been going to concerts since I was a baby so I'll just name the best concerts I've been to: Iron Maiden, Ozzy Osbourne, Cannibal Corpse, White Zombie, Devildriver, Fear Factory, Joe Satriani, MAB clinic, Dragonforce, Slayer, Megadeth, Metallica, Divine Heresy, 3 Inches of Blood, Pantera, Down, Ministry, Dream Theater, etc.... When you started icon_wink.gif : 8 1/2 years ago Bio: I was drawn to music naturally, my parents put me on it when I was young, took me to concerts and that started it. I started off on piano like alot kids, I practiced it for 4 years and decided it wasn't for me. My initial intention was to go to guitar right away but my friends had a band going and they needed bass so I took bass and played it for 2 years, then our drummer quit so I took that part on for about a year. I was back and forth through it all before taking on the guitar. That's when I found my true passion. 8 1/2 years later I'm still addicted and my bands have really done well. I still practice those scales and I refresh my memory every once and awhile and I'll practice my chords and sweeps and just keep practicing my theory.

Eric Johnson, Alexi Laiho, Alexander Kuoppala, Steve Vai, Herman Li, Sam Tottman, John 5, Synyster Gates What you like to play: Anything that catches my attention. No style in patricular at the moment, though I'm trying my best to learn Satriani's style. I guess if you want to catagorize me at the moment Metal would be the closest.Songs you can play: Crowd Chant(Joe Satriani) Cliffs of Dover(Eric Johnson) Hate Me, Kissing the Shadows(Children of Bodom) Sugarfoot Rag, Damaged(John 5) Days of the Phoenix(AFI), and quite a few more I learned a portion of. I have a problem sticking to a song long enough to learn the whole thing. If it's a guitar battle or something of the sort I'll usually learn both parts, however if it's a guitar vs. other instrument(Such as in Children of Bodom's Kissing the shadows) I'll sometimes just stop learning the song when it gets to that part Been to Any Concerts: NopeWhen You Started : 2 years ago in March Bio: I'm Cameron Means. I started playing 2 years ago in March when my older brother gave me his old guitar as a birthday present(March 17th). He doesn't play any guitar anymore, but my first guitar was a cheap Silvertone electric guitar that looked like a Les Paul but was very, very far from the qualities of a typical les paul...it sucked, that's all there is to it. At first I had no clue how to play a guitar, but we all start there, right? I first started fingering the frets a bit, and my brother showed me some exersizes on how to build up finger strength and accuracy. I got used to it, and I went on to learn my first song(Not all the way through) called God Called in Sick Today, by AFI. I learned a portion of that song then moved on to another song, that I learned every part except the barre chords for, as I wasn't advanced that far yet, another AFI song called Days of the Phoenix. In the first 6 months of my playing I would learn a few video game songs, such as the theme for Super Mario Bros., Final Fantasy9, Star Ocean2, the boss theme for Final Fantasy7, and the heavy-metal song played in Final Fantasy10(Forgot what it was called) I did really well in playing those songs and progressed steadily. However at this point I had known absalutally nothing about scales or chords... When my junior year of highschool came up I had signed up for a guitar class, where my teacher, Mr. Maldanado(Not that his name's important at all) tought me(And the class) how to play! He first tought us some pentatonic scales and chords; barre chords, etc.. At the end of the year I learned a whole lot and was much better at this point than I ever thought was possible in such a short time. Now, playing for only 2 years I'm doing sweeps, chords, scales, etc. To put this into perspective in the simplest terms: People are startled when I tell them I've only played for 2 years. They tell me I play as if I had 3 or 4 years experience under my belt. Of course that's due solely to the help I've received from many friends who have tought me much and helped me learn. I'm always looking for ways to improve and will take all the help I can get, as well as try to pass on as much of what I know to you all as well. Thanks a lot and I'll definitally enjoy my stay here.Edit: Oh yeah, I can also play some Dethklok songs, such as the Duncan Hills Coffee Jingle, Detheme, Go Into the Water and part of Awaken Mustakrakish

Been to any concerts: My first show was in Florida when I was sixteen, I went to see Simple Plan. I still maintain that was the best night of my life. I think my next show after that was Next Big Thing 6, where I saw The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Kill Hannah, Angels and Airwaves, Three Days Grace and My Chemical Romance. Then I saw Papa Roach with a friend of my mom's, then I went to a show with Kill Hannah and The Pink Spiders. I then saw Less Than Jake with my sister (her first concert), and later I saw My Chemical Romance for Grad Bash. I went to see Paramore for my eighteenth birthday, and as a going-away present from my friend Liz, she took me with her to the Honda Civic Tour last year, with Cobra Starship, The Academy Is..., +44 and Fall Out Boy. I moved out to California, and after winning a pair of tickets, I went with my friend Adam to see Simple Plan perform on Jimmy Kimmel in LA. My most recent show was Taste Of Chaos last month, where I saw Atreyu, Bullet For My Valentine and Avenged Sevenfold. When You Started: Mid-October 2007....guess that would make it about seven months now. Bio: I'm a born and bred military brat. I was born in Japan and lived there until I was six, then we moved to Germany. When I was ten, we moved to Maryland, and then to Florida when I was fourteen. I had expressed some artistic tendency when I was twelve, but it was during my high school years in Florida that I started to explore music. I'd heard Addicted by Simple Plan on the radio and I was instantly in love. My interest in the band, and others like them, grew quickly. I bought Simple Plan's DVD, and while watching them have the time of their lives and doing what they loved, I decided that's what I wanted. I informed my parents that I wanted to take music lessons, and I started off on drums. It was fun to hit things for awhile, but something just wasn't clicking. I started guitar lessons as well, but the same thing. Then, shortly before my high school graduation (and my family's impending move to California) I asked my guitar teacher Marty if I could try playing a bass guitar for a couple lessons. Once I'd balanced the bulky instrument on my lap, I began to play and everything came to me so much easier than it ever had. I now live in California, where I hope to form my own band. I already have a guitarist, my boyfriend Adam smile
