The Captain's Song from HMS Pinafore...but wasn't there something about "Bother it"? Anyhow.
"So you let a man just walk right over you Who said dignified is what you are? Such a wonderful lot of terrible things did happen Now you're the one to to tell me 'Sorry'".

Did I kill the game? If so, sorry, it was "Barbara Song" from "The Threepenny Opera". If not, then sorry for bumping.

well, there was no quote left after that, so I guess I will put one.
"In her eyes, in her voice, in the heat that filled the air, part of him still lingered there. I know what pain her life today must be, but if it all comes down to her or me. I won't wait, I swear I'll fight."

Oh my GOD I love that song. "Now That I've Seen Her" from Miss Saigon. Anyhow.
Mine. And if it sucks again, kick me. "My life is s***ty and my kid seems like an idiot to me I mean...that's sick... I mean he's great! It's me who is the matter talking madder than the maddest hatter If I repeat one more word, I swear I'll lose my brain What else should I explain? Oh yes, it's true, I can cry on cue But so can you."

That's "I'm Breaking Down" from March of the Falsettos.
Next up: "But there were other days when he was really even worse."

That's from Titanic the musical....no clue to the name of the song though.
"Spit ball me Lord over the home plate of Life. I want to strike out with the Devil, not strike out with my wife."
Hm, not sure if this is 100% correct...so here's another song from the musical...
"Jubilation"

I'll just post my new lyric anywho. If I'm wrong, just ignore me.
'I get no kick from a plane. Flying high in the sky with some guy is my idea of nothing to do'.

'I get no kick from a plane. Flying high in the sky with some guy is my idea of nothing to do'. Nope, here's a hint...it's based on the book of the same name. The music was written by Harry Chapin and here're some other quotes... "Y'all wanna hear the flip side?" "Hey y'all look! No skees" as in water skees...is that how it's spelled? "...and....how bout some Grits?" another song...Goin' to Atlanta

I'm guessing that the song is "Spitball" from Cotton Patch Gospel
"You are good to me I know the sound of touch me I think I hear the sound of wrap your arms around me Ah... Tell me things Ah..."

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that's "Rose Stopnick Can Cook," from Caroline, or Change.
Next up: "You think by now I’d learn, play with fire you get burned. But fire can be oh so warm, and that’s why I returned."

Isn't it "To Keep My Love Alive", from A Conneticut Yankee Revival
"Why be a leaf, if you can be the tree Why be a raindrop, when you can be the sea? For the leaf may fall, but the tree remains And the rain may fall, but the sea remains. Better to be the tree and the sea, see?"
