Renji chuckled, waving off the boy's thanks.
"Iie, desu ne. You'd have found it eventually. I didn't do anything special." He looped his fingers through the belt loops of his pine green slacks.
"So, you said you're new. I suppose I'd have ran across you eventually, being my next door neighbor and all. Lucky for you that you came today, with classes cancelled. The generator wet wonky or something. So where are you off to now, uh, Marcus-san?"

"I was asleep..."Marcus said and started combing his hands through his hair to get it to lay down. "But since I am up. I wasn't realy going anywhere." He still looked disheveled from sleep but at least his hair was down. "What about you...." He screwed up his eyes in through. "...Renji-san?"

"Me?" Renji gave a slight shrug. "Well I told some friends I was going to find someone, but I think I'm going to school store. I gotta make a coupe purchases. Peace offerings, if you will. Seems I've been doing that a lot the past couple days. I'm gonna mess around and be screwed until next month if I do't get a grip." He laughed, rocking back on his heels.

"Oh, ummm..if you wont mind." Marcus said smiling. "I am kinda awake now." He scratched the back of his head sheepishly. "I know this might sound silly..." He said quietly. "but how do you buy things with no money?" He asked glancing up at Renji.

Renji chuckled, slipping an arm around the shoulders of the much smaller boy.
"It's not a stupid question at all, Marcus-san. Don't be bashful, you can ask me anything you want. You know your student ID? Well, they have credits on them that you can use to make purchases in the student store. That's how you buy crap for your room, extra uniforms, class supplies, all that jazz. Like, you know the room doesn't have a radio or a TV, but you can get a stereo in the store.
"When you first get here, you have 10,000 credits. You can earn more by getting good graes, doing extra credit, taking more than the minimum four classes, joining clubs, getting a student-job, crap like that.
"Anyway, every couple of weeks, the credits you've earned get added to your ID. Everything is hella expensive, though. It took me months to get that stereo in my room, and most everything in the store is "Midori-Approved" so that it can't be used to cause a ruckus by us delinquents, ne?"
Renji paused in his informative spiel to look at the small boy at his side once more.
"Oi, you're a little one, ne? How old are you anyway. If I had to gues I'd say 13 since that's the minimum, but you look 12. "

Marcus laughted a little and shook his head. "Everyone guesses that I am acuatly 15, heve been for about 5 months." He said nodding glancing about. "So..ummm..what else do that have at the store?" Marcus asked quietly. "Are there any plushies and such?" He made his hand roll in the air for effect.

"Yeah there's some. Though I really don't think you should be wasting your first batch of credits on plushies. The cheapest one is like 2000 credits, and you sill need class supplies and whatnot." Renji twisted his lips thoughtfully as he made his way to the exit, arm still slung over Marcus' shoulder.
"Tell you what...How bout I get you one. My treat....a 'hi neighbor' gift, if you will. Just a little welcome present to let you know, despite the fact that it's basically a pretty a** prison, at times it's not so unbearable, ne?"
"15? riiiiiight, like I believe you're only a year younger than me." Renji replied, going back to the boy's earlier statement. "Nice try, kid. You're funny."

"Realy?!" Marcus said surprised smiling. "Domo arigato gozaimasu, Renji-san!" He said a little loudly with a bob of his head. He gave him a quick hug then resituated himself under the boys arm. "Hey! I am too 15!" He pushed Renji frowning. "I am just short..."

Angel coudln't even see where he was going. The last thing he remembered was pushing out of the dorm.
He had promise. He had said he was fine. He hadn't.....he was just....but he had been so nice...he'd been...he was....he had bee michale...the old michale....was that all he truley was? Was it the drugs that made him nice?
He was trembling as he ran, and he bumped into a few people accidentally and he heard a few angry shouts. He just couldn't deal with them at the moment. He had to get away he had to get-
That was when he ran smack into someone, arms instantly steadied him but he broke down anyway. He hadn't a clue as to why he broke down then, something about the way the person felt, or maybe it was just the most convieneint, but he broke down and clung to the shirt of the stranger, burying his face into the others stomach

Michael walked deliberately down the hallway. His attitude and face was sour. He could hear his shoes clanging against the floor and the echo ricocheing down the walls. He didn't know where he was going and he really didn't care. He just didn't want to cry. He can't cry. He didn't know the whole story, so he shouldn't... "Goddammit!!!" He slammed his fist against the wall, falling to his knees, beggining to sob helplessly. "Damn damn damn DAMNIT!!!" He didn't know what to do, and he didn't know if anyone else was there. he didn't care.

Kazz shook his head, head still reeling as he entered the hallway. Really, the teachers may monitor the students, but who the hell monitors the teachers. Some of them needed collars of their own.
He gasped in surprise as a small body collided with him, knocking him backward a step or two. before he could een ask if he was alright, the kid broke down, clutching at Kazz's shirt. Wait, he knew that blonde head... He looked down passed the touseled blonde locks to the neck beneath, finding the tell tale bruises that lined the pale flesh. His arms tightly closed around the hysterical boy.
"Kei-chan, what's the matter? What happened? Are you all right?"

Keiran could feel the arms encircle him and his hands gripped the cloth of Kazz's shirt even more tightly. He didn't know who it was he had collided with until he heard the voice. His head shot up crystal eyes wide and still full of overpouring tears.
"Kazu" he pushed back his hands flat against his chest "I-I'm sorry...I..." he couldn't think of a way out of this. He was crying...but...Kazu didn't like Michale how could he understand about it?
His head shook as the tears ran. It was a silent move that meant he couldn't talk about what was wrong, at least not yet. He needed a shoulder, he needed just to be held and know that there was something and someone he could trust. He could trust Kazz. That is what Kazz had said. Michale had said it too....but Kazz hadn't done anything.
"M-Michale..he...stopped....but then...and he...i thought...the cigarettes....sleeping...i was.....cold...drawer....he didn't....but he said...but it was there...he can't...he'll get sick....i don't....i don't want him...I don't want him hurt!" his words were through sobs and hiccups, and through the wet cloth of Kazz's that he had buried his face in.

Kazz looked around, frowning. Grabbing Keiran firmly round the shoulders. he steered the boy towards his room. the hallway was not the best place for all this. he looked towards the other boy who had appeared up the hall, but couldn't be distracted just now. He sighed, slidng his codekey.

Keiri just continued to sob. He couldn't think, couldn't speak, heck he could barely breath. He felt Kazz's warm hands grip his shoulders and he was suddenly being pushed to a room. He buried his flushed face in his hands and he heard a door open. He didn't even look to where they were going, he trusted Kazz....the only thing was....after all Angel had done, after the amounts of times he had caused fights and gone to Michale....what reason did Kazz have to comfort Keiri?

Reiku stumbled again as he came into the hallway, and this time he did fall. he winced as his knees collided hard with the tiled floor, but he didn't linger over the pain. he climbed to his feet, shoving back the spky bergundy hair that screened his chocolate brown eyes.
"Michael-san!"
He hadn't gotten far.The boy was on his knees sobbing, and Reiku felt horrible. beyond horrible. this was his faukt. Trying to spare the boy pain, he had inflicted far more. He dropped to his knees beside Michael, placing a tentative hand on his shoulder.
"My-kun?"
