That does not sound corny, Vaughn. It would be nice to find what you and Jess have. It would be even nicer to believe that it will go on beyond this life and that it went on before. The Krishna religion believes that you stay in contact with a person until you are finished, so perhaps you and Jess have alway been together. Maybe you have no reason to be finished with each other. They also believe that you reach a different plain with each life time (not always higher by the way) so maybe you and Jess have reached the plain where you have finished everything and are just hanging around for kicks. Anyway you both belong together.

And yes, I do agree with what people said about bonds being built over time.... But I do also believe that sometimes two people were meant to be together in that way. Donno. lol.
And thanks fot the interesting info Tazzy... I'm now just questioning what I believe with all that sorta stuff ad confusing myself. i think I'll put the mental debate on hold.

I have not found mine yet, but do believe in them... I have some questions, how do you know when you have found them?? I've never found anyone that i would suspect has come close, but maybe its my fault, i dont like getting to close to people, well i do but if they don't interest or show interest i remain my distance its really strange to describe. And I've had strange dreams of this guy and certain feelings, strong feelings and intuitions that they live in a different country, but then again i could be wrong... I live in australia and even though i love my country it feels like its not my home or where i belong... its strange and you probably all think im crazy! but your thoughts would be most appreciated.. heart gah confused myself now...

I've always thought that you can create one, and that there are lots of them out there but you have to make them. Does that make sense?

I think that the concept of soulmates is a beautiful one, although, I'm not too sure that I believe in them. That might have something to do with the fact that I'm not too lucky in love. When someone does end up returning the feelings I harbor for them, something goes wrong. But that's probably just life. xD

I don't think love has much to do with "soulmates"... I also don't think you can make a valid judgement on it untill you've known someone for at least 10-15 years... everybody thinks their "love will last forever" when the chemicals are still running, and everybody's good friends until problems arise...

That's why I would want to date a person for years before ever getting married. That and I want to finish college and get settled into a new job before I do that. I don't get why people are always in such a rush to get married. I don't even know if I want to get married... at least not how most people get married in America, where you have to have a paper signed and everything. I just don't see why anyone would need a piece of paper to love eachother and to be with eachother. Besides that, weddings are a waste of money. I'd rather put that money into savings for any children I may have.
Like, I thought my boyfriend was my soulmate for a year before I even actually met him. And then when I met him, I knew that he was. Whether or not he actually is my soulmate, only time will tell. But I know I'm meant to be with him at least for the time being. And neither of us want to get married until we're done with college and settled in as I previously said. So by then we will have been together for about 10 years if not more.

The word soulmate is used only in terms of love in most peoples ideas, I believe but to me soulmate could be anyone, a pet, family member, a lover(of course), or a bestfriend... I also believe that people need to know themselfs before fully finding thier soulmates.... Because without knowing your own feelings there is no telling who is or would be someones soulmate.. That prolly makes no sence and sorry for the complete randomness... sweatdrop sweatdrop

I haven't found mine yet, but I believe in them. Not romantically though. I think you can be spiritually connected in terms other than a romantic relationship.
