In the original Teen Titans comics (not the cartoon show), Trigon came down to earth and raped an Earth woman named Arilla (not sure if I'm spelling that right...) in some kind of creepy ritual... Arilla was taken to a sanctuary called Azarath, where she gave birth to Raven. That's why Raven's half demon.

I thought they said that in the cartoon as well? Well. I know they didn't say 'rape' because, even thought you can say a bunch of other non-sense on TV, kids still aren't allowed to hear the word rape yet. But I'm sure one day kid's cartoons will be filled with all that good stuff.

In the cartoon they mentioned that Arilla was Raven's mother and that Raven was raised in Azarath (and of course the mentioned that Trigon was Raven's father) but they never put two-and-two together... they just kind of left Raven's conception to the imagination... XD;;

Oh... Okay. I'm not a big Teen Titan's fan. I followed it for a while but then it just kinda got funky. I stopped somwhere around Terra's death/hybernation/whatever you'd call it...
Wait, sometime after Robin went nutso and saw that badguy EVERYWHERE. *nods*

What's the bad guy's name again? Slate or something? Robin was obsessed... -.-; ...it was creepy.

It's Slade in the cartoon and Deathstroke in the comics. Ugh, I *hated* Terra in both the cartoon and comics... such a little b***h, breaking Beastboy's heart like that... She's the only Titan I absolutely don't like... I'm not horribly fond of Robin and Starfire, but I still at least like them... But when Terra "died," that was at the end of the second season. There's five seasons all together, and I think the episode where Robin went crazy was some time in either the third or fourth season... I think the third. Anyway, the TV show leaves much to be desired, but it did get me into the franchise at least, and the Teen Titans comic still remains the only American comic I've been able to get really into... much better than the cartoon too. XP

I was fascinated by Terra - not sure if I liked or hated her. Probably a bit of both. =3
I really liked Raven and Beast Boy the best. Cyborg bugged me and everybody else was pretty alright. I think it's a cute show, I just only watch it once in awhile.

I watched a few seconds of the 'Titans go to Japan' or whatever movie this morning. Some missile kid whacks starfire and screams "KONNICHIWA!" ...Made me laugh. Then I changed the channel and watched Gravitation. =^^= Megamix talk totally made me crave Gravitation. XP Seguchi heart I luff him.
But I think Robin was my favorite for a while... Then when he kept going on about Slade it was retarded, so he retired and I liked beastboy. I was never bothered with Cyborg, or the other two girls... Terra was neat, but I didn't really like her as much as everyone else around me did. *shrugs*
I liked the little wormy thing. What was it called again?

@Akila: My favorite has always been Raven. ^^ Second favorite is BeastBoy. I like Cyborg a lot too, and find Robin and Starfire okay. Hate Terra.
@Marik: The Teen Titans movie was pretty bad... at least their Japanese was pretty accurate. I was interested in the parts where they spoke Japanese without subtitles, because then I got to try and translate. ^^ There was this part where BeastBoy was fighting a sexy neko chick, and as they were fighting, she kept saying how much she loved him and stuff. BeastBoy said, "Agh! How am I supposed to come up with a comeback if I don't even know what you're saying?!" Then she said, "Close your eyes. This will hurt." in a really affectionate voice, and BeastBoy was just like, "WTF?" XD;;
*kills Seguchi*
Oh, and the wormy thing's name is Silky...

...Seguchi pissed the HELL out of me for a while, but then.. somehow, someway he managed to nest himself in my heart and I grew attached to him. (sounds like a parasite, ne? XD) So I luff him.... Please don't kill my baby.

Hrm... Ryuichi is the one on my nerves right now, cause he's being confusing. XD And... less Ryuichi...ish... Ryuichi is supposed to be stupid-like, funny, and random with a skitso after-effect triggered by music. Um... He's just being a b***h in EX. WHAT WAS WITH THAT KISS!?!? *Freaks* Anyways... *sighs*

Eh... I've been watching/reading gravitation again recently, and he doesn't piss me off anymore. I just squeal when I see him. And ... also when Ryuichi starts blabbing... and when Shuichi pops up... and when Yuki... oh what the hell, I squeal when all of the sexy guy characters pops up, but K-san's and Seguchi's are usually the loudest and involve hand flapping spasms. And Ryuichi only get's squeals when he makes cute faces or when I'm watching it in Japanese, because I'm not fond of his english voice. I heart Yamaguchi Kappei... who's like, really freaking old now. So is Ryutarou Okiayu... (K-san).
But he's got a nice singing voice.

While I do like Gravitation, it just never really interested me as much as other anime and manga. I never even finished the manga series because I just lost interest... guess I didn't care for the direction it was going in. *shrug*
