Anna simply spread her left wing(as it was the side they were on) and sighed. She didn't want to have to do this... Using the forbidden alchemy. She'd probably get totally wasted and stay bed-ridden work months... But her message would pass.
"Ed... Are you blind or unintelligent? I just don't want you to get killed... and don't try to use that alchemy on me; it won't work. I have my ways, quite lie the 'father' of the homunculi... I've learned that trick, too. Though it's forbidden, I couldn't care less if it means getting my message through. Unless you're too angry to hear it.
If you leave this place, you WILL get killed. I know this and affirm it surely."

Ed, noticing her game, transmuted his arm to a blade and held it up for a second then moved it so it rested against his neck. "You wouldn't let me kill myself now would you?"
Al's eyes got wide for the fact that his brother had completely lost it. "Ed, you idiot!!! Don't you dare!" He reached out to grab Ed's arm but he dodged the attampt.
"So what's it gonna be? Let me go free or watch me kill myself." He knew the answer and was waiting patiently.

Good, his reaction would give her time. Forbidden alchemy.. her eye. She was gonna use it wether it killed her or got her half dead.
Anna just briefly closed her eyes to reopen them so an odd, blue-ish glow. Ed's arm, much against his own will, back off from his neck as if a powerful hand brough it back.
"Forbidden or not, if it keeps you from killing yourself in an act of ignorance or menace, it's worth my life..." Anna said, before kneeling down.
Her wing, tough, stayed up firmly.
"I'll die for you if it means keeping you alive..."

Ed glared at her. "That's what i mean! You're risking your life for me and i don't even like you!" He yelled at the top of his lungs.

Anna fell to the ground again.. Too bad from Alphonse's clothes.. o_o
She was gasping for air; she had gone too far... Hadn't she? But this time, she really hope her message was as clear as water.
"Let me die.. If you hate me that..."
No strength to finish her sentence. She had taken up all the energy she could. Anna... Ed's resistance was surprising. He'D do well, later on. she was hoping to be there to see it... But now, her hope was running thin. Not much time left; she had to make it...

Al ran over to her. "What should we do brother?! She looks like she's about to die!" He lifted her frail body.
Ed looked at her then back towards the town. "We're too far to get anywhere quickly." He leaned back and sighed. "She does this for someone who doesn't even like her. I'd hate to see what she does for someone who loves her..." He looked at her.

Voices wer evague around her.. At this point, she didn't even know wether she as hallucinating for comfort or had a crowd around her. She just knew that she'd die, or fall in a coma. The next worse thing, really.
In a haze of blue light, Anna saw, at a distance, a figure. Mind you, she was dreaming this; if it can be called dreaming.
"Lia...! Please, you have to--"
"Why did you do it...?! YOu know I don't approve, even for him."
"I had to, Lia! He was going to die if I just stood there..."
"Then he would'Ve learned from his mistakes!"
"NO!"
Sweat beaded on the unconscous girl as a roiling fight raged inside her head. No one knew if she would wake up... Let alone survive...

Al placed a wet towel on her head. They had managed to get her back to the Rockbell's and were now taking care of her. Ed sat in the other room while Al became her personal nurse.

"Anna, you have to wake up."
"I can't! If I do, I'll have even more chances of dying! And besides.. It'll hurt like hell!"
"And so pain actually affects you now?"
"No, but..."
"Then wake up. I'll lend you the strength you need to stand and walk, but the pain, you'll have to face on your own, little sister."
"But..."
"Alphonse is taking too much care of you for me to let you die like this, Anna."
"Al...? I thought... Ed didn't leave me?"
"No. Al begged hi to take you back to the house which they managed to do. They're taking care of you while we speak."
"But, how much time..."
"About an hour. YOu should wake up. You're ready."
"How do you want me to face Ed now?"
"Just wake up!!"
Those last few words resonated in Anna's mind as she opened her eyes and searched the room feverishly. In a spur of motion, the just sat up and clung to Al as if her life depended on it. Thank god he was there, or else...
"Thank you so much... I wouldn'T even be alive if not for yo--..."
the pain. Lia said that it was going to be an ordeal ofit's own. Anna never thought it'd be THIS painful!!!
"Um... A-Al...? Can you, uh, just, put your hand on my back... And... Let me donw?"

Al, a bit stunned, nodded and set her down. "Are you alright Anna? You were really hurt. You kept calling out the name Lia..." He looked at her sadly. "Is that the name of your sister?"

"Uh..? I did, didn't I... Yeah, she's my sister.. I... Ugh... It's a bit complicated... It even took the both of us a few years to get the concept... But... It's all things I learned... When I gave up my hands and leg..."
Anna quickly turned her head to avoid any suspecting gazes. She hated questions. Even more questions from people who knew what they were talkign about...

"Oh, i see." He sat down on a chair across the room and sighed. "You want me to get you anything to eat or drink?" He offered politely.
Ed knew she was awake but didn't feel like going in since it would end up being a lecture from him to her.

"Something to eat? Hm... No, but I'd appreciate someone else's presence... And it's not for a petty, selfish reason. Lia wants to see who he is even though she has a few years back..."
Anna sighed as she tried her best not to let the pain affect her, though tears rolled down from her eyes occasionnaly.
Lia... Had this talent she developped over the years. With a certain for of alchemy, she could use her soul and mind to travel, leaving her body behind. Though she kept a small link to the body so she could easily come back. When she could, she'd sneak up in people's bodies and see through their eyes... Which was what she was doing with Anna.

"You mean Ed? I on't know if I could pry him in here..." He glanced towards the door and sighed heavilly. "I'll give it a try though..." He walked out the door. "Hey Ed, Anna wants to see you."
"I think I'll pass Al." He leaned back on the couch and closed his eyes.
"She said her sister wants to see you." Al sat next to him.
"What do you mean her sister wants to see me? We're the only other people here!" Ed leaned forward a tad confused.

Anna, decieved that Edward wouldn't come in, forced herself to sit up, though the pain it caused was as well transmitted to Lia.
'DON'T STRAIN YOURSELF LIKE THAT YOU CLUTZ!'
'Oh, and you're the one to be talking?'
'We'Re not talking about me, here! Anna, you know what happens when you put--'
'I know, Lia. Don't have to say it every time something happends!'
'Just be careful... It's a pain that I feel too, you know'
'I'll try...'
Anna strain fiercly against the agony of having every muscle in her body ache, but it was something that she could cope with after all these years. She simply took a deep breath.... Well, as deep as an artificial lung could breath, and exhaled. With a little push, Anna mangaed to see through the door.
"Ed, just come in... You'll understand better if I don't have to agonise so much!"
