I like Ford. He is just so funny.. His clothes in the TV series are odd, too. Well, I like all the characters. But Ford the most. My friend told me I should marry him.. ^^;

ninja Your friend is indeed most wise. 3nodding TenshiDarkAngel My favorite character is Ford. Come on, how can you -not- love him. "I'd trust this man with my life" "How long will that be?" "Eleven minutes" Actually it's "Myself I'd trust him to the end of the Earth." "And how far's that?" "In about eleven minutes."

That's what I get for doing it from my head after having not read the book in over a year ^^" I started it again this afternoon

Mmm... Marvin is indeed the best... or Ed the computer.
Whats the name of that little bat-thing who was killed by Arthur each of his previous lives? Oh God, it's been a while. Yeah, that was a pretty spiffy character too. 3nodding

Well, there's... Ford Prefect Zaphod Beeblebrox The Rain God Wonk the Sane Marvin the Paranoid Android (people have officially nicknamed me Marvin xd ) Agrajag Prak Arthur Dent Fly-thing working at Hitchhiker office (ya know, the one who says "Yes, he is in his office, but he is on an intergalactic cruise.") Mr. Prosser Zem 'B' Ark Disaster Area
I love them all...and that's all I can think of off the top of my head! I could never choose a favorite, but I know I don't really like Fenchurch, she's not different enough. Nor do I especially like Zarniwoop...but most other characters were amazing.

angilwingz I dislike Eddie, the shipboard computer. C'mon, you know when Eddie was trying to make tea was really funny. Oh, yes, and how Zaphod Beeblebrox the 4th (his grandfather) approved of it.

I like Arthur because he is the only main character I have seen in any book that is totally normal. All other books the main character has some stupid special power, but Arthur represents a much more dull side of humanity. But Marvin is also cool. And Slartibartfast. Fjords!
... And Zarquon!... And that immortal dude that insults everyone, alphabetically. Forgot his name.

Hmmm, Marvin for sure. His depressing and "I hate the world"ish comments, just make me laugh so much.
Also, Zaphod. He's awesome. Just because.
For secondary characters, I'd have to saaay (This is only on the first 2 books, I'm only starting the 3rd) the sperm whale and the bowl of petunias, Eddie (I LOVE the tea thing. Shutting down the whole ship to make a cup of tea. hilairous stuff) and the Guide itself.
