i have two.
the first is "fingering." (get your minds out of the gutter!) it's a yarn weight, and i both see and write it a lot, being a fanatical knitter.
the second is "leprechaun." since my username on many websites is "ladyleprechaun" and i log into all of them at the same time, i usually end up deleting and retyping becuase it looks weird after you type it a coulple times in a row.

I hate spelling "necessary". Even "embarrassed". For the longest time, I spelled it without the extra 'r'. And I agree with misspelled - - my friend made fun of me for the longest time because I misspelled misspelled. Weird stuff.

I used to spell "loud" as "load". I still have difficult times sometimes when typing up a paper with receive or the i before e except after c. Also february I used to spell it "febuary" and I knew something seemed weird about it. Because thats how I usually pronounce it.

"Leprechaun" is one I can't get myself around either. "Pseudo" as well.

I used to misspell psychology all the time as "phycology" or "phsycology." sweatdrop ...and it still looks strange to me.
Also, every now and then, I'll say a word, think, say it again, and suddenly get this overwhelming feeling of what a weird SOUND! At that point, I'm saying it over and over again as many different ways as possible. rofl

XSudden Conchience... Conschience.. Consciense. Conscience... I don't know if that's even spelled right. xd It always just looks wrong to me, wether it's right or not. I remember that one because my friend and I used to prononce it "con science" and when you think about it, your gut feeling is often against logoic so the entemology helps to make spelling a breeze. Hope that helps.
