The poison from beyond the stars is a type of radioactive [or so i assume] light that is being emmited from the sky that will noly leave once the stars are right...
galdon, let me.
The only use you could contrive from that/those book(s) would be the sigils, and they are poorly copied, and inaccurately used, and/or described in their use(s).
Several things there are losely based on things you could come across in our world, with alot of equipment. Even then, I severely doubt you would be able to find what there might be, as the book(s) is/are wrong, or horribly inaccurate on many points.
I'll tell you, its best as a good read. You can get plenty of semi-decent ideas, only if you are creative, and fairly knowledgable to start with, in which case(s) the book would be most likely unnecisary.
Cthulu's been bastardised, and is not going to be doing anything for a long time. The piper, and narenthrope (sp?), are just bs ripped off and based on other things, which you could attibute to them when something happens, but
they themselves are just fiction. If you're talking to Cthulu, I think, either the thing is lying, has the same name, or Cthulu is not the actual name of Cthulu, in which case it would still not be him that you are talking to.
Dagoth, well, yeah, Cthulu thing, with the fact hes just an extreme exaggeration.
The rest, are most likely either exaggerations, or fake things based on others. I'm not saying there aren't things that are/would be like them, I'm just saying those specifically are not real.
Sorry to be a d**k about that, but its pretty much the content of the book I'm shutting down, not you.Ideas could be contrived, thats about it. The journeying to the other worlds, I'm not going to deny much about it, but I think few people are capable of the level it would need to go to worlds that have 'those' effects on you when you are not really there.
