A Day With Sister

Kesmi

*Seemingly sore from nose to tail, Kenjin dragged his haunted mind back to the world of the waking. THe dreams were becoming less frequent, it made him happy to a point. Shaking his head, the teen pullde himself upon his hooves and looked around. White wings outstretched at his sides he wondered how high he could get today. Looking up at teh oh so cheery sky, he snorted folding his wings back to his sides. Bright blue eyes diverting themselves to the open plain, wondering where his winged sister was and wondered if she's learnt to fly yet...*

Nova looked over and saw her brother. He had such beautiful wings she then looked down at her own wings. She ran over to him excited to see a family member it had been so long since she had seen him or her parents the only horses she had really gotten close to were Havasu and Snake.

*Wings shifting at his sides. Kenjin looked over at the teen that darted his way. Smiling the best he could, Kenjin took a step toward Nova.* "Hello sister." He greeted bowing his head a little. "How have you been since we last seen each other?" *He looked at the wings upon her ankles and smiled lightly.* "I see we share the same gift. Have you learned to fly yet?" he asked tilting his head to the side...

She smiled at her brother and nuzzled him. "Hello dearest brother. I'm great and you?" She then looked down at her wings. "Sadly no I haven't really learned how to use them have you?"

Kesmi

*Kenjin shook his head as he nuzzled against her as well.* "No I haven't, I've kinda wondered away from Mother. She was always looking at me as if she was afraid of something. Or someone." He looked to teh withered grass about his hooves in sadness.* "I have a sinking feeling that it's me because what I..." *He turned his head away not knowing how to explain it.*

Nova nodded at her brother. "Yes I saw a little bit of some fight you were having with sis." She smiled at him. "I have also sort of wandered away from everyone." She sighed. "Maybe we can create our own little herd or something." She wanted to be closer to her brother because she loved him so much.

*Kenjin looked at his sister tilting his head to the side.* "You want to be around me? Even for what I do?" he asked not completely believing her, because of what his other sister, Kaylin, had told him. But he was nothing like their mother.*

Who? What? Where?

"......."
"............."

*Azure eyes slowly opened as a golden colored stallion woke within a strange land. Everything was quiet, a heavy fog lay upon the land like a blanket. Dew glittered upon the blades of fadding green grass as the morning sun worked to burn through the fog. Longer legs then he remembered were folded under his bukly body. His aqua colored mane slid back across his long neck, making teh skin twitch a little in the odd feel. Swinging his head easily from side to side the stallion looked about the plain, wondering....

"..... Who am I? ..."
".... Where am I? ...."

Many questions dog piled themselves upon his mind as he slowly stood, the fog whisping about his body. Small snake like streamers slithered past his legs, making hims shiver all over. Again swinging his head around he looked as far as he could..

"What strange lands..."
"But... Where... What is this place..."

One hoof before the other, the golden stallion stepped off into the fog. A strange dragonfly like marking upon his flank, Setting off that he wasn't normal, wasn't from this lands. He was from a place where creatures called, My Little Ponies... But... Where was here? And where was home?*

Plans of Flight?

*Head bobbing a little, young Artemis tried to keep her eyes within the shadows of the waving branchs above. Her dark eyes watching those out in teh sunlight, though she wondered why her parents and brother sleapt through teh day... Shaking her head she closed her eyes to the light as it made her eyes sting like a thousand bee stings.*

Kreis raised his head, squinting as the sunlight seemed to flood over him. "Artemis... why are you up so early?" he asked, yawning and standing to stretch. He saw both of his parents were still asleep, and knew he should be too. Looking back to his sister still on the ground he tilted his head to the side at her.

*Turning her head back and stepped over to her brother so that he didn't have to strain to see her.* "I don't know Brother, I just feel like I should be awake, not sleeping." She muttered as to not wake their parents. "It's just a feeling, like sleeping during the day isn't.... Normal." *Shaking her head, Artemis turned her head away from her brother to look back out upon the gleaming plain where life seemed to be flowing freely. Where as at night... Everyone was asleep and she had no one, but her brother to play with.*

Kreis looked down at his father and then back to his sister as if she were insane. "You do realise that dad has wings, and mom doesn't right? One of them must be abnormal." he told her, a small smile on his face. He walked to the river they were sleeping by, the one he had known since birth. "We should run away." he decided, looking down the river where he was sure greater things than this would lie.

*Looking shocked at what her brother had just said she shook her head.* "Run away? Why?" She asked not hearing the part about their father having wings, it didn't seem to phase her much. "Why would I want to run away from my parents?" she asked her voice raising a little higher then she would want. "Don't you like it here brother?"

Mika Koda

Kreis looked at his hooves, sorry to bring his sister into his plan. "I like it here, but somehow I feel this isn't my place. Have you noticed the only other horses here have wings, and every one of them is mean? We don't belong here Tae." he told her, using the nickname he had dubbed her with the night they were born. He looked down the river and sighed slightly. "Even if I wanted to go, I would not leave this place without you. I will always be here to protect you sister."

*Artemis tilted her head as she looekd at her white adn grey brother. Soon looking down at her dark blue legs. An ears twitched off to one side. She seemed to be thinking about what her brother had said.* "Just because they have wings, doesn't mean that they are /all/ mean. But it seems that we do share one feeling. The feeling of not belonging, but...." *She looked at their still sleeping parents.* "What will they think if we suddenly vanish without saying a word?" *Artemis seemed scared that they'd be punished in bad ways for running off.*

Kreis shifted slightly, feeling the earth move with him, it seemed. "I doubt they will notice, or even care. Besides. No harm will come to you Tae. I won't let it." he told her, believing that even at this age he could take care of her easily. "But if you want to go... we need to leave soon. Or wait until morning. You know that as soon as the sun begins to set, mom will wake, and when the moon rules in it's stead, dad will wake as well."

*Artemis watched her brother before stepping over toward him. She didn't want to let him go off on his own.* "We'll look after each other. As siblings sohould." She said as her dark eyes seem to light up just a bit. "I just hope we don't get into trouble, I'd hate to see momma and pappa mad at us."

Beaming at his sister, Kreis was happy that they would finially be able to leave this horrid place. "Let's get going." he whispered, running down the river. Being watchful of anything that would alert their parents, he made his way quickly but steadily down the river. Unbeknown to him, soon he would come upon a place that was also the place where his mother had first crossed over the mountains where she had given birth to the pair.

*Taking one last glance back toward their parents, Artemis dashed after her brother. Watching his white coat bound before her. She was quick to catch up, her own dark coat making it easy for her to blend into the darkness of teh forest.* "Where should we go Brother?" she asked as she followed him. *Really she was wiling to follow him anywhere he wanted to go.*

"Lets just run and see what there is, and where we can get. Maybe we can get to the other side of the forest, or those mountains." he said nodding first to his right, then to the mountains on the left. "What do you think?" he asked looking over at her, as he realised he didn't really have a plan.

*Looking from one side of teh path to the other she didn't know which way to go. Closing her eyes for a moment she opened them again and looked toward teh mountains.* "That way, over the mountains. It seems the most adventurous. Don't you think so?" she asked coming up to his side looking at the mountains.

Kreis nodded, turning away from the forest as soon as he saw a pass where they could cross over. Rearching the bottom of the slope, he slowed to catch his breath knowing he would need it for the climb. It was not as tall as the peaks and would be much easier if they tried to go over a section that was not so low, but it would still be difficult, especially at such a young age.

*Artemis followed her brother, every once and a while she looked back toward where they had come from. Wondering. Wondering what their parents were doing if they found them gone. Slowing just behind her brother, Artemis looked up at eh mountains.* "So you think we can make it before thy wake?" she asked panting as she watched hr brother with dark colored eyes.*

Mika Koda

Kreis looked back only a few feet up at his sister, tired already from the run. "Yes, we will make it." he said jumping back down and nudging her from behind. "We'll make it even if I have to help you the whole way. I can't stay here anymore, Tae." he said keeping her moving when she seemed to slow.

*Smiling back at her brother, Artemis nodded as she headed up the mountain side.* "If you say we can brother, then I know we can." *Giggling she bound a head of him as i it were a game of some sort.* "Can't get me dearst Brother." She giggled from higher up.

The bond Strengthens.

Aylin ran around feeling a wee bit bored. She loved running feeling the wind in her mane and the pounding of her hooves on the ground beneith her. She felt almost like she was flying. She would kick up her back legs happily.

*A black adn blue stallion stood still, silent, eyes closed and head raised toward the sky. The wind blew through his coal black mane and tail as he just stood still. His ears remained forward, listening to everything about him, the chirping of bird and the flapping of their wings. All around him he could hear voice, not understand them, but he could hear them. Some distant, some near. Others... A mere whisper upon the winds that carried them to and fro. The pounding of hooves came to his ears as the ground beneath his hoves seemed to shake as if a herd were passing upon both sides of him. The stallion deemed Midnight seemed to be at peace with something, perhapd himself? Or the world around him? Who knew, he surely didn't at teh least.*

Aylin ran over to Midnight slowing her gaint as she reached him. Happily she whinnied a hello to the gorgeous stallion. Once she reached him she nuzzled him with her soft velvety muzzle. "How are you today?" She smiled and looked into his eyes.

*A single dark blue ear turned toward the voice, Midnight didn't seem to budge for a moment before his head slowly lowered itself from his skyward stare, his eyes slowly opening, pupils adjustng to the light as they went.* "Good day to you." He said softly as he soon nuzzled against her. "I am doing alright, was just trying to find calm in all that's been happening around here. How are you?" he asked as he nuzzled his head against her neck lovingly, pulling his body close to hers.

She couldn't keep herself from smiling. "I'm good." She could feel her heart racing she thought that he could hear it beating fast and hard like drums. She took a deep breath to try to calm her racing heart but when she looked at him it only raced faster. She knew the pounding in her heart was love.

*Midnight smiled at Aylin before looking away toward the far horizon. Strange shadows danced upon the ground, lengthening with the setting sun that was drawing it's close upon the day. Ears as forward as they could go, Midnight soon looked back to Aylin.* "A beautiful sunset, don't you think?" he asked as he could hear her heart racing, it seemed to keep pace with his own.

She smiled at Midnight and looked at the sunset. "Yes it is very gorgeous." She layed her head on his shoulder watching the sunset and how beautiful it was. She could hear his heart racing as fast as her own was. She finally bursted out with the words. "I love you more than any horse in the world." She smiled and nuzzled him happily.

Kesmi

*Shock dashed across his face when his ears catch the quick words of the mare beside him. Slowly his mind came around to the meaning, his head sinking fast he nuzzled against Aylin, not wanting to leave her side again, not wanting to ever leave her sights either. He looked within her eyes as he returned her own words.* "And I love you more then any mare alive within this plain." He whispered horsey kissing her cheek.

Smiling Aylin leaned into the stallion and gave him a peck on the cheek. Slowly her cheeks turned a little red. She smiled happy to hear him say those words to her. She then nuzzled him also not ever wanting to leave his side ever again.

Sunset Chatter...

Kesmi

*A white stallion stood upon a small hill that over looked part of the plain. The rest lay at his back, like the shadow of the moon itself. His dark green eyes staring into the distance at the far horizon. Wondering what was there. Shaking his head, his grey mane tossing over his milk white neck. Looking around, one could notice a black patch over his right eye and two small red spots under his left eye. About his hooves teh grass was tall and healthy compared to the rest of teh fall faded grass.*

"Kenjin?Nova?"She looked around.She looked for them.She missed them alot.

Kesmi

*White ears turned toward teh voice on a younger. Turning his head a little he looked out across the plain wondering where it had come from. Stepping away from where he had been standing. The grass remaining health compared to the rest. Each step he took seemed to strengthen the grass that was dying. Ears turning his green eyes soon lay upon teh young teen mare. Tilring his head he watched her. Wondering what she was doing all the way out here.*

Kaylin jumped and looked at the stallion.She looked at him."Hello?"

*Not saying a thing at teh moment, Lucifer watched the young teen with kind eyes.* "Evening Young one. How are you this fine evening?" he asked stepping a bit closer. The grass about his hooves perking up. He could sense something about this young mare, but what was it? Oh how he hated it when things like this happened...*

"I'm great you?And i'm Kaylin you?"

"My name's Lucifer. Medicine horse of the cimarron herd. As for how I'm doing. Alright I suppose. Feeling chained to teh plain like a work horse to a pole." He sighed lowering his head a little to get a better look at teh one before him. "I have a feeling that you are more then what you seem." he said turning his head to one side a little. "That horn upon your head might beable to do more then just show its beauty." *Shaking his head he raised his head up again.* "Don't mind my rambling." He said as a red washed over his face a little at teh embarrassment.

"Yeah.Thanks.I'm different and your a cool person.And you like my horn."She blushed alot.Her white coat turned beat red.

Kesmi

*Lucifer looked back toward Kaylin and tilted his head to one side.* "Now don't get me worng, it is a wonderful stallion catcher if you ask me, but you still have some growin up before you catch me. But yes, I do like your horn. It's differnt and unique, don't let anyone else tell you different. If they do, I'll set them straight about it." He said with a smile as he looked down at the grass that was growing greener about his hooves.* "But there is something more different about you then just your appearance. Something that lays beneath teh skin. You wouldn't happen to be Kisha's Daughter would you? She's a Medicine mare of teh native herd I've been told."

"Yep.Kisha is my mother,and Seabiscuit is my father.I love my parents alot."She looked at him.

*Lucifer nodded his head as he stepped off to the side a little to walk around Kaylin, soon standing before her again.* "that's what I thought, you have a bit of your mother within you. But I trust that you have siblings. Because as earth balances air, someone my balance you if not two.." *He seemed to be rambling again. A brow arched a little as he stood still, his tail swishing behind him, seating at the flies gently to knock them back. There seemed to be no mean bone within this stallion's body.* "If you wonder why I ask, it's because I have one that balances my power. A brother that is of Necromancy, Tor. My beloved Brother."

She watched him walk around her and said."Yeah i do.I have one brother and a sister.I love my family."She looked at the sky and then back to him.

Kesmi

"It is good that you love your family. Keep them close. For soon one can tell which power you have. Be it Healer or Necromancy, or a little bit of both. I know not if what it is with triplets." He said watching Kaylin, soon looking out toward teh horizon where the sun slowly sank. "Keep you family close, for there will be times that you will have to depend on them more then ever." He muttered, eyes all glazed over before snapping back to reality it seemed.

"Yeah.What's wrong?"She wondered what was wrong with Him.

"Hmm?" *Lucifer looked toward Kaylin, his dark green eyes had a somewhat dreamy look about them. Shaking his head he looking back out at teh horizon.* "Nothing, Just wondering what lay past that horizon. But it's a foolish dream." He chuckled turning his back upon the sinking sun to look back toward his herd lands.* "The sun sets and sleep calls like teh moon calls the waters toward it."

Another new family

Kesmi

*Her belly swollen with foal, Gabriel lay upon her side panting as they had started to come. Closing her brown eyes she pushed. Leags shifting to give wayto a small filly with the same marking upon her flank as her mother, but woth the mane of her father. Shifting again she had a little harder trouble giving birth to the second filly. Blue dashed the white, copying Namid's markings. This foal seemed to refuse to come, pushing as she may, Gabriel had to stop a couple times before giving birth to the second filly. Panting she thought it was over. Lifting her head she smiled upon her daughters. Her stomach bunched up a bit telling her that one last foal was to come. Laying her head back upon the ground she Cried out as a young colt slide from the warmth and out into the new world. Laying still, her sides heaving as she listened to the bays of her children behind her. But Gabriel herself was really tired, her stomach felt as if in knots. She would have to rest... For now...*

Catastrofic Nightmares

Kesmi

*Limbs shaking like a newborn, his head sagging low in what could have been in only submission to a feeling that was not of his own. Eyes closed vision passed over his closed eyes, screams of panic crossed his ears, making them pin back against his skull. Wings drawn tightly to his sides, young Kenjin quivered all over as if something were hitting him. The round beneath his hooves withered black and was soon sneaking out like lightening across the clouds above in a stormy night. What was happening? Why was he having these visions, these night mare? And what? ... A strange red filly dashed acrossed his closed eyelids... Who was that? Many thoughts clouded his mind as soon the young creamy teen collapsed to teh ground, his body shaking all over. No matter what he did, he couldn't drag his mind out of teh visions. It was like a really bad nightmare.*

A post of many.

Kesmi

*Shadow wind stood grazing upon the open plains within the Cimarron herd's lands. His black tail twitching behind him. His eyes closed for the moment, his mind on his beloved and sons. Wondering if they all were alright. He couldn't help, but worry about his son Tor... But then again as a father he didn't favor one or teh other. He loved both his sons equally as he loved his beloved.*

Lucifer, the complete opposite in colors then his father stood not too far away from his father. Dark green eyes always staring at teh horizon, he wondered what was out there. Shaking his head, silver/grey mane tossing about his neck he too lowered his head to graze. Once and a while looking back at his father, wondering also what he thought of all this... Family business.*

*Somewhere between the native lands adn the river band lands two mares grazed side by side. The looked somewhat simaliar, but not completely. D-Fly was enjoying her daughter and Grandaughter's company after being away so long. D couldn't help, but wonder where Ret had run off to. A sigh escaped the old feeling mare as she looked lovingly upon her Daughter. Upon her flank a overly large Dragonfly rested, he too felt older then he should have been.*

*Gabriel smiled at her mother as she turned her head to her own daughter. She smiled at young Nadine who was busy chasing poor wings about the small area Gabriel had said they could play. She wished not to see her new born hurt already...*

*A grin upon her face, young Nadine chased the palegreen dragonfly about. Her ears forward, blue face shinning with much life. It seemed that nothing could dampen her spirits. Well not in this early a life anyways.*

*With the wind caressing her wings, Kisha flew higher into the sky. Her mind upon other things, she wished not to think of the pain that her son was going through. Even it was the thing she thought of every waking moment. Hovering for the moment she looked down to the ground, watching everyone below her. Soon pulling her wings in she dropped to ward the ground wher her son was resting fitfully.*

*Legs pulled close to his body, Kenjin Jr. lay shaking upon the ground. The grass about hinm black and dead. After a moment when his mother landed beside him, the shaking eased off, but horrific dreams still haunted his sleep. wings opening a little it was as if he were fighting for his life...*

*Kishan stood not to far from her angelic sister and her son. The fiery mare snorted as leathery wings ruffled upon her sides. Tail swishing behind her, she turned to walk away. Greatly sickened by her nephew and her own sister as well..*

*The sun graced stallion stood watching the great orb above with unblinking eyes. The wind billowed through his mane and tail making them look like teh burning gases of teh sun itself. Azure eyes soon shifted their gaze toward the open plain inwhich he roamed with his nightly sister. He wondered where she could be.*

*The night gilded mare trotted a fair distance to find her brother. Just as the earth adn air were different, so weren't teh sun and the moon. Moon's power was halved when her brother's orb was within the sky. Her energy not as much as it could be at night. She just had to find her brother, where ever he may have been.*

*Standing upon the thresh hold of his herd lands, Kovu looked about the fading grass that matched that of his own home. The Lion like stallion looked about for his sister. Why was it that it was always teh female that ran from the pride? Shaking his head he turned back and headed further into his Pride lands.*

*Laying within her secret spot, Vitani dreampt of home, her brother, but not of returning. She had made a new life with teh one she shared the grove with. With her Metsuki, she hoped he wouldn't change in the least.*

*As the seasoned changed, the grass slowly faded, the air cooler telling that it was his brother's time of rule. The wintery stallion emerged from his summer home deep within a mountain cave. The ground around him glittered with small slow melting flakes of snow. For soon, very soon he would blanket the ground with it completely.*

*Just as she was named, Viper snuck around the fading grass like a snake looking for prey. She was just looking for someone to play with. Ears open to the sounds of her dreaded nemisis she stalked around. There had to be someone around to play with. Even for a full grown mare. a little foalish play never hurt anyone... Not yet anyways....

*Blue peppered silver wings domed a stalky dark blue stallion. He lays asleep, sleeping the day away with the family he loved dear, even for a demonic, he could't help, but care. Evil as he was bred to be, that trat never completely too hold upon his mind. Though the phases of teh moon still grabbed hold upon his evilness to drive him into a blood thirsty rage. One he hoped his family would never see.*

*Laying beside her father, A young blue and black teen watched those within the sunlight. She wondered why she was different, why her father never let her out into the sun. Was it because it would burn her? She didn't understand, she watched the others play freely, wondering why they weren't burnt as her father had said would happen to her if caught out in the light. Shaking a little, young Artemis looked away, closing her eyes she let the oblivion of sleep take hold again.*

*A dark blue rune stallion stood grazing under a tall tree, his mind wondering where his beloved Aylin was. He missed her dearly, head raising at almost every movement, to only be discouraged. Sighing he grazed again, ears back not wanting to listen to the world about him anymore.*

*Calm, tranquil, a couple of the things, that a golden stallion was thinking as he lay within a small streamm, feeling the cool waters carress his back as it diverted around him. Laying his head upon the bank, Brooke, sighed, trying to heep his Chi balenced. Not wanting it to wobble again like a top losing it's momentum.*

[[ *Pants* I believe that is all 18 horses. ]]

A new friend?

The young cheetah mare walked through the last of the trees back out into the far borders of the Cimmeron herd. After her sister having turned to the foul mood of this season, Safari descided to leave Albany to her anger and brooding. Looking around this part of the plains she felt the peace that seemed to have been absent in the other part of the Cimmeron Herd as of late. When the golden eyes landed on the face of a stallion in the stream a few yards off, the mare thought to go around not wanting to desturbe one with such a peaceful look upon him.

*An ear perked up at the sound of something that wasn't teh gurgling of the stream. An azure eye opened slowly. Head turning to the side a little, the golden stallion glanced around at his surroundings. His other eye opened, his et tail twitched within it's watery bed. Lifting his head off the ground, Brooke looked toward a strange looking mare that had stumbled across his resting place. Not saying a word yet, he merely watched her, wondering what she was doing...*

Safari bowed her head in away that slightly said, 'excuse me and greeting'. When she saw the quizical look in the stallion's azure eyes, though taken back for a moment in the richness of them, she spoke gently. "Sorry to intrude this place while you rested, I just needed some peace and quiet. So I came to remember hearing about this area being the perfect place to get just that."

*Brooke watched the mare still as she spoke, his eyes closing for the moment before opening again, he did seem to be at peace.* "This place is a good place to have some quiet. I come here often when the daily stress beomes a wieght upon one's shoulders. Out of all the liveliness of teh open plain, this is one place of balance." He said calmly, almost as if it weren't he that were speaking, but the stream itself as it bubbled around hom. *Pulling himself from the water to let it flow more freely, he shook hte water from his side adnf back. His tail hung dripping behind him. One white hoof after teh other he stepped upon the banks and looked at teh mare.* "I'm not one to say you should leave like a self absorbed stallion. This is a place for everyone to come and be at peace with one's self." He said lowering his head in a sort of bow.

She gave a weak smile and bowed her head in thanks, as she replied in the friendly voice she had had since being a foal, "Thank you, kind Sir." Safari was proud of her speaking abilities around such a strong stallion. She had never seen anyone or talked to one like him. Not even Esperanza has such a smooth or liquid like voice. the mare thought not showing her awe or speaking in such away. After a few minutes she spoke again in her normal tone, "Not many stallions, or mares for that matter, are like you..." she didn't know the stallion's name so how could she really finish that complement.

*Brooke noded his head before turning his gaze toward the sky. A calm sigh escaped his nose as he watched the clouds over head as they drifted lazily by.* "Everything has a balance, Though some seem to disreguard it as a hinderance of ones life and stability. But lose that balance as if the sky had lost it's balance with the earth, the clouds wouldn't be where they are. If The balance of light were to venish then no one would be able to sleep." He chuckled looking back at teh Mare. "I'm one of balance, Karma and chi. For to walk a true straight line, one must know their balance Spiritually and physically. Safari looked at Brooke for a moment, "You speak as if you should be an Angelic horse. Your not from around this area are you?" She asked, then shaking her head and rolling her eyes to herself, "Sorry, I'm Safari of the Cimmeron. It's an honor to met you Brooke. I'm glad that not all good horses have to be angelic, for I have seen a couple horses that act more demonic then even the demons do." Safari felt like she was rambling about non-sense so she shut her mouth for a minute.

*Brooke let out a hardy laugh that seemed to break the quiet of the small area. Soon he was silent again watching Safari.* "you are right that I am not from around here. Infact I don't remember where I came from really. I fell asleep in some strange land it seems to wake in an even stranger land. I haven't met anyone besides you and another mare that was like a stone skipped across a pond." *He shook his mind, clearing it of the thought of Bela, she was only a memory now. Something he wouldn't dwell upon at this moment.* "It is a pleasure to meet you, Safari of the Cimarron herd." He says smilng at her, his azure eyes watching her.

"Well atleast I know a foreigner when I see one." she said in a joking manner, "Sorry to hear about you seemingly bouncing around. I hope you are going to be around for a while, this whole area could use some balance dramaticly." Safari grimaced at the mention of Bela. The memory of the frantic mare filled her mind. And she ran from him why? He seems kind enough and balanced like no one I've ever met, that includes myself. She thought only momentarly. "Some mares are like that." She finally spoke and then looking into his eyes she smiled, "I don't know many stallions besides those that I favor like brothers." She thought for a moment. Come to think of it I haven't seen Shadow in a while or Spirit.

*Brooke shook his head, his tealish mane sweeping across his golden neck gently as he sighed a little looking away, a white hoof digging into teh rocky mud that lay under his hooves.* "I to hope that I don't get pulled away from this plain. I wish not to wake to find that I have two heads." He joked looking at himself to make sure that it wasn't true. *Brooke looked at Safari as she said that most mares could be like Bela and a slight disgusted look flashed over his face, but soon fanished as his calm, trainquil look came over him again. His Lavender/teal tail twitching a little to merely brush the flies away. Ones that were relentless even within teh cooling weather.* "I hope to one day find someone to share the balance with, but for now it seems that one like me has to wander the path alone, as many before me have. I'm sure we both wander the paths alone, searching for one that shares a connection like the moon and son who share the skies whether it day or night." He said going back into the balance of things.

She softly smiled at his joke, "I always heard two heads are better then one though." she couldn't help but add in the little comment onto it. Safari had thought of taking a quick step back when the flash of disgust had suddenly sprang to Brooke's face, but she didn't with the instantanious repremanding of his calm features. "That is true, I hope you find someone that you can share your tranquil balance with and be happy. The sun likes to share the day with the clouds, as the moon likes to share the night with stars, it isn't just the moon and sun sharing the sky above us as you pointed out a few moments ago."

*Looked back toward teh sky as it it were the only thing that ever made him happy. It seemed near impossible to him to find someone who was balanced, if not that, but someone who wouldn't skip off to another at a moment's notice after laying right to his face.* "That is true about teh sky, but the moon and sun balance out the day and night. What do you look for in a friend? If I may be so bold as to ask?" he said looking toward Safari again, his half dried tail swishing in the air behind him, swatting at more relentless flies.*

She nodded knowing when it came to balance of things she couldn't win this agrueement with Brooke, maybe her sister but not him. Smiling warmly Safari answered his questions, "Yes you may be so bold. Somethings I guess I look for in friends I would say.." she thought for a second, "They have to be kind most of the time to others, they can't hate everything they see in sight, respect, loyalty, honesty, and love for themselves. If someone doesn't care about themselves how are they going to care about their friends. If I may ask, How about yourself? What type of things are appreciated in friends for you?"

*Brooke stared at Safari as she spoke, before he closed his eyes in thought, what would he consider in a friend? He wouldn't know, he'd never really had one before. Not that he could remember anyways. His head lowering a little as if his karma had just dropped a couple bars he shook his head slowly.* "I don't know. I've... Never really had any friends. Only myself. I'm sure I used to have friends, but... I just can't remember any of them." His voice was sad in tone, as if almost hollow to a point of not really being there at all. Just a whisper upon the wind.

Safari's expression sadden alittle. "I'm sorry to hear you don't remember any of your friends. I know you must have had alot of them with your personality. Atleast now you have one around here." She gave him a weak but serious smile, "I'm your friend as long as you would like me to be. Even if you don't want me as a friend I'll consider you as one."

*Eyes looking toward Safari, Brooke seemed almost completely lost in thought. His mind turning over teh many things that could happen within the next few moments or later on. Shaking them away he let out a calming breath as he aswered her.* "Being friends with someone like you, would be a joyous thing to a balanced one like me. I feel that you are, if not comepletly I'm not too certain, are more balanced then most I watch day upon day. Let us hope that, someday the plain will balance itself out and become more peaceful as it tries to be."

Snow looked at Shadow, and her body strained.
"Boys, we have a slight dilema. This is overcomeable, but you must stick together. We all must. Family is important with what im about to tell you." She took a deep breath, keeping her head high.
Tor looked at Lucifer, and his eyes grew dark with worry. He was scared, and did he have reason to be? Yes. He believed so. He looked towards his father for some help or hint. His father gave none, his gaze transfixed on Snow. He looked at Snow at last, his eyes sorrowful.

*Lucifer stood close to his brother, feeling the coldness of the Necronacer within him. Unafraid he nuzzled against his brother trying to not make him worry so much.* "We'll get through this brother. I know we can." He said trying to make things a little less tense. "We all can."

*Shadow stood beside Snow, his head raised up, watching his sons, hoping for the best... For their sake, for all their sakes. Shaking his head a little he looked at Snow nuzzling against her lovingly. He didn't wish to scare his sons with what Snow was going to say, but the truth had to come out.* "Listen to you mother well my sons' and don't freak out with what she says. Trust is also something we all must have."

Snow took a deep breath, giving a loving nudge to Shadow, before stepping away. She needed to be strong, and leaning on him would prove quite the weakness to her. The brown of her eyes came to Tor, and she gave a smile. A sad condescending smile she'd always been so good at.
"Boys.. As you well know, I am a medicine horse of the Native tribe. Well. For all good, there is a bad. TO balance so one force wont outweigh the other. Well, when a medicine horse gives birth, she has the balance. My mother had myself, and Fox." She wasnt going to explain Fox right now. They didnt need to know she'd been murdered.
"Lucifer, you have the gift of healing.. My Tor, you have the gift of Necromancy."

Tor looked at his mother, his eyes wide in disbelieve, and he shook his head. He reared into the air. Him?! That was the reason everyone feared him?? That was the reason he was so hated? There he goes. He was cursed. It offered an explanation of everything, but it didnt make him feel any better. He looked to his father.

*Shaking his head, Lucifer looked at his mother. Then toward their father. Backing away a bit he looked at Tor as he reared up.* "Calm Brother." He said trying to ease his brother's sudden scare. *Calm? What was he saying? He wasn't calm either, even if it didn't show upon his face. His dark green eyes watching their parents before looking at Tor, Stepping a little closer to his brother.* "So this explains the strange happenings. Why I've seen natives following me, or rather the healthy spots within this season of fading." He said calmly, too calmly for the situation.

*Shadow looked away for a moment before looking at his sones, toward Tor.* "I'm sorry my son. but as Snow has said, it's the balance. As is everything. Fear it you may, but...." He didn't know exactly what to say. "But we can still be a family, This doesn't break the love we all share. Tor, Lucifer, you two have bonded far better then most siblings Ive seen. Together you two are stong." *Boy he was rambling, what was he saying? He only hoped it woud help.*

Snow looked at Tor, her eyes fixed upon him. She was scared. But she had to keep him safe. She had to. His life depended on it, just as much as the sanity she held did. She gazed into the angry orbs he called eyes, and challenged the look he held with one of love.
"Please my son.."

Tor felt hate almost instantly. They had kept this from him, made him believe he was someone to be feared and loathed just for the hell of it. He shook hia head violently.
"You tell me to be calm, that we should be a family, but I see fellow 'family' who did not bother to tell me that I was a bringer of death. Tht did not tell me that I will die for this.."

"Brother please, I didn't know what I was either. I thought they were hunting me for some reason. I didn't know," Lucifer said looking at his brother with fear that he may turn upon him. "I'm as shocked as you are, please brother." *Ears laying back, the white stallion soon turned hoof and fled away from them, all of them, his eyes closed as he fled. Silver gray tail low as he went, his mane billowing out behind like a flag of defeat. He didn't know what else to do, but flee away from everything.*

"Lucifer!" Shadow shouted watching his son flee away from them. *Turning to the angered Tor he stepped toward him. His face showing hardly anything, but concern. Looking at Snow he felt out of place, but didn't let it show. Shaking his head he looked at Tor.* "You shouldn't hate us for this. We feared for your lives, for all our lives. From what I've herd that you aren't teh only one with this, 'curse' as you may call it. I hear that Kisha had a son with the same trait and worse." He said the last part looking at Snow. "I do hope we that we can move past this and not split teh family as it seems that your brother has already fled."

What kind of surprises lay within a cloud?

Nova ran down a hill by Snake her wings spread as far as she could get them. She was still learning how to fly. Now she could stay up a little while before falling to the ground. Flying around Snake she whistled happily. "Look! I'm flying!" she flapped her wings and continued to fly. For once she was flying almost as long as her mother could before landing next to Snake.

*Wings spread to their full girth, Kenjin seemed to glide across teh air, the wind carressing his wings as it did his sister's. Flapping them a little he tried to remain within the air before crash landing near Nova and Snake, plus the strange mare near by. Sitting up, he shook the dried grass from his golden mane before realizing where he was. Bright blue eyes looked upon the older Mare adn stallion before he heffered himself to his ooves to walk over to Nova and nuzzle against her.* "Hello dearest Sister." He said with a smile, one that seemed unbecoming of him as of late.

Nova watched her brother crash next to her. Smiling at her brother she said "Hello dearest brother." She nuzzled him happily. "How are you today?" Everytime she saw her brother suddenly she became happy as could be. Not knowing if it was because of his smile or his beautiful blue eyes or what she just kept smiling.

*A small laugh escaped his throat as he stepped closer to his sister. His blue eyes looking into her's.* "I'm doing fine today, trying to work on my landings," he chuckled shaking a little to get the grass off his coat and out of his wings. "As you can see, I'm no good at them. Mother makes it look easy." *His creamy colored head looked toward the older mare as he tilted his head to one side, his white eings folding to his sides, hoping to hide the white and black flakes upon his back.* "Who's she?" he asked Nova, his voice no louder then a whisper for only she to hear.

Nova rolled her eyes at Snake. "You better be." Then she turned to her brother. "I find the landing's to be the easiest part." Nodding her head she smiled at her brother. She took a step towards her brother and whispered softly back to him, "That's Bela, she used to like Snake, but now they are only know as "brother and "sister". We are true brother and sister, unlike them."

*Kenjin nodded his head as he watched the adults before looking back at the sky, ignoring the blakening grass beneath his hooves.* "Lets fly sister, lets play a game in the sky." He said spreading his wings as far as they would go, revealing teh glossy white feathers that seemed to stand out upon his creamy sides. His eyes glittering for the moment. "We can play tag in teh sky, if you are up to it."

Nova spread her wings around her ankles as far as she could get them to go. "Lets!" Running down the hill she became air borne and flew around her brother. "Come on dearest brother. Are we going?" She flew a few circles around him. Now being able to fly was easy to her, and she could go on for a very long time.

*Chuckling, Kenjin merely leapt into the air, wings spreading he pulled his legs in close as he dove a little to catch an updraft. Soon soaring over Nova. Hos wings flapping once and a while to keep him aloft.* "Who should be it dearst sister?" He asked grinning as he swooped down aiming to tap her with his nose.* "How about you?" he laughed soon shooting higher.*

Nova looked up to her brother then shot up after him. "Oh no you don't!" She chased after him feeling great, and being able to play tag in the clouds was one of the greatest things. Tapping her brother she flew in the opposite direction heading for the forest hoping to lose him through the tough opsticles.

*Looping back to head after Nova he went low, zigzagging through the tree tops after his sister. Legs tucked in close to his belly he smiled as he drew closer.* "You can't lose me that easily." He laughed, soon choking upon a bug that went down her throat.* "Eww, bug." He choked loosing his momentum and narrowly dodges a tree that got in his way.

Nova smiled down at the mare. "I'm fine Bela." Looking up for her brother she did not see him. where'd he go? She searched until she felt Snake nudge her.

*Kenjin came around from flying within a cloud that was over head and shot down toward Nova to tap her with his nose.* "You're it." He shouted looping back to the clouds again, hidding amongst teh fluffiness.*

Nova still looked up into the air looking for her brother, not even noticing that the group had moved. She sniffed trying to smell him.

*Kenjin's head poped out of a cloud as he watched his sister, tilting his head to teh side a little he wondered what she was doing. Slowly emerging from the cloud he approached her.* "Something wrong sister?" he asked watching her, wings working to keep him from falling to the ground that lay far below.*

Nova smiled when she saw her brother she then leapt back into the air and tapped him on his rump and yelled at him happily, "Your it brother!" she then flew back over towards Snake and them but making sure her brother could not find her.

*Blinking, taken back by his sister a little, Kenjin soon swooped down toward Snake and Bela. Remaining high over head he looked for Nova. Sweeping this way and that he looked, not really minding the adults as they were kinda in his way. Smiling he soon dove to tag his sister before kicking iff to head back to teh sky above.* "Race ya to teh clouds sister." He shouted over his shoulder.

Nova raced off after her brother and passed him up a little. "Come on is that all you got brother?" She was almost to the cloud.

*Wings beating with all their might, Kenjin pulled up to his sister's side, neck and neck it seemed as teh clouds drew ever closer. Smiling to her, he thrusts his leags out as if racing upon teh wind and higher, hooves digging into teh air as if it were teh ground below.* "Meet you inside." He laughed as he went higher, wings outstretched at his sides

Nova thrust her legs out like her brother. They were neck and neck. All of a sudden all Nova could see was white fluff. Nothing else they were inside the clouds and she suddenly felt different.

*The cloud seemed to consume him like a giant moster of an old tale told to foals at bed time. The cold dampness of teh could coated his coat as he felt strange, he didn't know if his sister felt teh same way, but it was as if his wings were growing. Teh bones felt as if they were stretching, every fiber stretched to their limit and further.... What was happening.* "Sister?" Kenjin called out within teh cloud as soon his head broke through the other side of the fluffy object.

Nova felt her small wings growing. Yelling for her brother she suddenly felt scared. "Kenjin!" she tried to fly over to him, but she could not see anything until her head poked out on the other side of the clouds.

*As his larger, creamy colored head popped through the surface of teh cloud. Larger, more powerful wings soon broke at his sides, the cloud seperating, leaving trails behind where the tips had come through. One longer limb came through as teh wings pulled the fully grown Kenjin from the cloud to flip over and nearly fall with surprise. Wings out stretched, Kenjin looked himself over, the flakes upon his back had spread further then before, his wings larger then he remember. Looking at teh cloud he wondered what it really was. Because he remembered being but a teen upon entering them. Blue eyes looking around he wondered if his sister had undergone the same changes as he...*
