Should it be a flat curvy-thingeh? EDIT: Meaning, a chibi from a side view, and a 3/4 view biggrin

(Chibis are so unrealistic, nothing about them is set in stone..) It depends on how realistic or how deformed you want the chibi to look. :3 The important part is to make sure the eyes/mouth/etc are on the same level as they are on the front view.. you know, so that if you had a front and side pic side by side, the eyes on one wouldn't be way higher up than on the other.

>_> Sorry. When it come to drawing stuff like that I go all perfectionest and/or freak out about not know how to do it.
See, I want to draw a valentines pic for one of my guilds, all in chibi form But you know, I dont want them all in the same pose, or facing the same direction, and stuff Then it'd b a baaaad pocture.

Hmm.. perfectionist, huh? I'm sort of a perfectionist too, but I've found that it's better to only get picky about the details at the end. :3 When you're starting a drawing though, it usually works a lot better to just sketch loosely and randomly and try a lot of things, because you have a much better chance of coming up with something that looks good. Then you can fix it until it's perfect. ^^

oXAyameXo xD How do you do Chibis kissing, though? o3o Uuh.. just draw their round little faces smooshed together? http://img.sheezyart.com/art/medium/92/928005.jpg http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/13473001/ That's how I always see it. :3 Just think very abstract when you're drawing anything chibi... It just has to sort of look like what it is, you don't have to actually draw out all the details and create all the form. :3 (This is what's great about chibi, because when you're having trouble drawing one area, you can just be sort of vague and simple in that place.)

aska_zuchiha Here's a chibi I made.I don't know if there's something wrong about it... sweatdrop No, it looks alright to me! X3 Very cute! Hmm.. I might make the shape of the legs different though. Keeping both of the lines mostly straight would be fine, and if you do curve a line inwards on a limb like that, the other should probably curve outwards... otherwise it sort of looks floppy and loose, you know? Like there's nothing inside. :3

Synssia I followed your guide and I came up with this: Can you point out what I can work on? Thanks. Awwwwww, it turned out really cute! I love her arms and legs, and her little kitty. ;3; Hmm.. somehow she looks a little like a child, rather than a pure chibi, (maybe because the shape of her body is very gentle, no sharp curves or anything) so maybe the bottom of her face could be more rounded, which would fit that kid-chibi look. :3 Also, the top/back of her head could be bigger. Lots of cute fluffy hair is good. mrgreen But she's totally adorable already. heart
