Kazuma nodded as he pulled Keiran close once more, resting his chin atop the boy's head.
"I thought as much...It's a shame really, cuz it's perfect for you, really. But I can't use it....I refuse to do anything that even remotely mimicks him. I'd sooner cut my own tongue out." His hand moved from the boy's shoulder to travel soothingly up and down his spine.
"I hope you know that you are safe with me, Kei-chan. I mean it, I'll protect you with everything I have, anyway I can."

Keiran leaned closer to Kazz, the chin ontop his head only made him feel that much safer. He snuggled closer to the warmth of the others body. He knew it wouldn't last. He knew that the words Kazz was saying was only in the heat of the moment. Tomorrow it would all go back to the awkward phase, and he probably would want nothing to do with him.
"I'm sure you will Kazu-chan" he murmured softly, his eyes dropping. His voice sounded sincere, it almost felt sincere coming out, but inside he knew, inside he knew the truth, it wouldn't last, Keiran just took it as a fact, and he would live through it, just like he lived through everyone else.

"You're still sleepy...I shouldn't have woke you. Curse of a singer, I guess, sometimes I'm a bit louder than I need to be. And it's late, you should get back to bed. " Reluctantly< Kazuma withdrew his arms from around Keiran and helped the boy off the floor as he climbed off himself.
He led the boy back over to his bed, holding back the blanket for him climb in. "Hop in Kei-chan so you can get your beauty rest. A face as cute as yours shouldn't be marred by dark circles under your eyes from lack of sleep."

The boy felt the warmth leave his body and Kazu pulled back. He was stood up and pulled back to his bed...his bed looked so...uncomfortable compared to Kazz. He looked at the bed then towards Kazu but couldn't quite look him in the eye. He looked down to the ground
"Kazu-chan....will you...uh...could you...stay...with me?" he asked softly his small arms hugging his lithe form.
He didn't want anything sexual, and he was pretty sure Kazz knew that. He just wanted him to stay and to comfort him, just lay with him and keep him warm so he could sleep better.

Kazz grinned broadly, nodding to Keiran.
"Hai, Kei-chan. Anything you want, ne?" The teen slipped off is shoes and climbed into the bed himself. He held open his arms, waiting for the younger boy to climb into them.
"Hop in," he repeated.

Keiran was slightly surprised the boy jumped into his bed so fast and without even a second thought.
Seeing Kazu open his arms to him, waiting for him to slide into the embrace almost made him want to believe that it would always be like this. It looked so warm...so inviting...so safe and loving...
He smiled softly and slid into the bed. He hadn't actually slept with anyone before...except michale after michale had used him for the night and went to sleep. Keirian never actually slept those nights though...he would stay awake and think about everything.
"thank you Kazu" he murmured as he slid under the blankets and lay close to him, his head resting on the pillow. He was facing Kazz, and he could smell the other boy, his scent was even more inviting than his heat. He didn't want to go to close to him though, it just didn't seem right. He wanted to sstay awake and see what KAzz looked like asleep but he just couldn't find the will to. He was so sleepy and he found himself falling into a deep sleep.

Kazz watched as Keiran faded right before his eyes, his face slowly going slack. It wasn't long before he could hear the boy's sof, deep breathing. Keiran's breath brushed against his chest and Kazz smiled. He was just so adorable. He pulled the sleeping boy closer still, pressing a getle kiss againstt his forehead.
"Arigato, Kei-chan," he murmered softly into sleep deafened ears. Closing his eyes, he followed Keiran's lead and was slumbering himself within moments.

Halfway through the night Keiran had awaken from a bad dream. He always had them, tonights was less stressful than usualand he was betting it was because someone was protecting him even in his sleep. His lashes fluttered open and he saw Kazu's face a few inches up and away from his own. He looked so peaceful laying there, his face slack like Keiran's nickname. His hand raise and his thumb brushed against his cheek. He lifted up and kissed Kazu on the corner of his mouth, jus aside his cheek
"Arigato Kazu-chan...even if you will leave me...Arigato for now..." he lay back down and snuggled closer into Kazu's embrace, Kazz's arms tightened around him protectivly and it sent a silent thrill through his body before he fell asleep against him.

Kazz yawned without opening his eyes, his internal alarm rousing him. He was, for the most part, an early riser, and he felt a bit sluggish. Like he had slept in. He wondered why, then wondered at the heavy weight in his arms, far too heavy to be a pillow. He opened his eyes to a sea of touseled blond hair, and as his memory of the previous night returned he breathed deep. Keiran's hair smelled nice, Kazz liked it. He pressed a kiss within the golden locks.
"Kei-chan? Are you still sleeping," he asked softly.

Keiran groaned softly as a voice stirred in his subconcious. It was trying to rouse him but he didn't want to get up. He buried his face against whatever it was he was clutching too, it was infact Kazz's chest. His arm tightened around his waist and he let himself stay enveloped in the warmth, trying to submerge himself back into the blissfull dreams he had been having

Kazz chuckled. So he'd gotten him a sleepyhead, did he. Funny how things worked out. It wasn't uncommon for Kazuma to wake up with the birds, for he was quite the fan of sunrises.
"Kei-chan, you are just so cute," Kazz murmered, nuzzling the boy's ear. But then he remembered where they were. He gave the boy within his arms a gentle shake. "Kei-chan you don't have any early classes do you? I'd hate for you to be late your fist day of class, I don't want a teacher making an example of you..." Kazuma frowned. He had vowed to protect Keiran, ad he would. Even if he had to soehow find a way to put the blame for the boy's tardiness for himself. Nothing he could think of would cast his reputation in a favorable light, and he cringed remembering the chem teacher's suspicions the day before. Well, if that's what it took to protect Keiran then so be it. Who cared about reputtions, anyway? He gave Keiran another shake, a little firmer but always gentle.
"Kei-chan?"

Keiran's face instinctvly nuzzled Kazz's neck as the boy nuzzle his ear. He didn't want to be pulled from the sheltered depths of his sleep!
The shaking didn't stop and he froaned groaning reluctantly as his eyes fluttered open again. Seeing another boy he frowned at the sleep induced haze until it cleared away and he saw him...who was...Kazz...what was he...the memories flooded back to him and he pulled back at finding himself so close to the other boy.
"Wh-what?" he asked disoriented

Kazz's eyebrows rose in surprise as Keiran suddenly pulled away from him, breaking the circe of his arms. He sat up a little, propping his elbow on the bed and his head on his fist, and he grinned at Keiran.
"I asked if you had any early classes. I just wanted to make sure, ne? First impression and all that."

Keiran didn't know exactly what the boy was saying until his mind registered finally. It seemed a lightswitch had been flipped in his head and he shifted over the side of the bed and the top half of his body disapeared over the edge and the rustling of clothes and the jingle of a belt could be heard.
"Uh...it says i have...I don't have class until third period. It says H-E....and then lunch and C-M and B-D"

"Oh..that good. That means..." Kazz reached forward, pulling Keiran back into his arms. He laid back agaist the pillows, so that the boy was on top of him. Then he proceeded to squeeze and cuddle him like he was the best teddy bear ever. "...that there's no need to rush, ne?" He then began to pepper the boy's face with kisses.
