Sachiko felt relief wash over her as Ariko slipped behind her, and she placed her hands over his as he rested them atop her shoulders. She hadn't realized just how tense she was until he'd approached her.
When her violet eyes had locked with Reiku's, she quickly dropped her gaze to the floor at the look of embarassment upon his pale countennance. He looked so uncomfortable.... was it because she was there? It was only because she was so worried about him...
Her gaze suddenly rose once more as Ariko began making explanations to Reiku. A hand went unconsciously to her own bruised neck, and she tried not to dwell on on the memory of Reiku's hands wrapped around her throat. She forced her lips into a smile.
"It's ok, Reiku-san, really.... I'm fine, you barely touched me..." She gave Ariko a nudge. there was no sense in making the other boy feel any worse about something he couldn't help.
Reiku, already pale on a regular basis, lost even more color as he learned of the attack that he had apparently launched. His eyes grew wide, though he looked at nothing. So it was happening again... the blackouts, the accusations.... why couldn't he remember? He could enver remember.
"Gomen nasai, minna... really... i'm... " He gave a shuddery sigh, not wishing to cry anymore. Not in front of anyone.

Mike however found that he did not wish to stop and he did not care if they saw him crying. He didn't care. All he knew was that he had almost lost his greatest friend he had ever had. His grip of sanity in this hell-hole of a school. "Don't ever leave me again. Please! Tell me when you're uncomefortable and I'll stop it! Just please don't ever leave me again!"
The bouts of sobs kept interjecting, but it did not deter the boy. Emotion was welling up from the spring inside him and he did not care to stop it.

"Onegai... don't cry, My-kun... Especially not for me. I don't deserve it.... I warned you..." There was a catch in Rei's voice and he took a breath to regain his compsure. After clearing his throat, he tried again.
"I told you before I was messed up... that I... I hurt people... I don't know why you want to be with me. I thought I was getting better...It seemed like I was... but..." He couldn't help it. He began sobbing himself. He buried his face in Michael's neck.
"I'm not! I'm not getting any better at all! Gomen, My-kun..."

Michael clutched him close. "Dai... Daijyoubu yo... It'll all get better. I don't care if you're different. We... We just both have to get through it. We'll pull through this togehter."
He shook his head softly. "You are my ray of happiness and sunshine. I don't know where I'd be without you. This aweful place would have swallowed me up without you!"

Reiku had no idea how to respond to that. he wanted to be optimistic, but given his present predicament, he was not exactly feeling like a ray of sunshine. He sighed heavily, but remained silent. He took Michael's hand in his own, unable t meet his gaze.
Sachiko blushed, looking down intently at her shoes. SHe felt like she was intruding upon a private scene, and had Ariko not been beside her, she'd have taken the first moment's distraction to slip from the room.
As it were, she rose from the seat, grabbed Ariko by the hand, and towed him into his restroom. She closed the door behind them before offering her boyfriend a smile.
"Intense, ne?"

Ariko rolled his eyes at the mushiness taking place on his bed, wishing the two of them would give the theatrics a rest. He was just about to say something when it seemed that Sachiko was reading his mind, standing and towing him into the bathroom.
When she closed the door and smiled, his heart melted and his own lips formed a smile themselves. "Hai hai,....arigatoo for the relief. I think I might want to change my sheets though,....again." He chuckled slightly before his gaze fell upon the violet orbs staring back at him, locking every muscle in his body in hypnosis as he fell victim to the beauty that was Sachiko.

"Be nice, they're in love."
Sachiko smiled warmly as she leaned backward against the door. She twirled a bit of hair around her index finger, her head tilted thoughfully to the side. Her violet eyes seemed to light up when she smiled.
"I think it's sweet, ne? I'd think yo'd be happier for Inoue-san finding someone who cares so much. He's always been so standoffish, ne? And..." Sachiko's amethyst irises drted from side to side as though seeking out eavesdroppers before she murmured conspiritorially.
"...And ... I don't know if you know this but there's been a rumor going around that he's like secretly in love with you. I mean, you're the only person consistently seen with him." Sachiko blushed, more than a bit embarassed for not only sharing the rumor, but having believed in it at least somewhat.

"Hai,....it's sweet. It's just I feel funny watching two guys like that is all. And I guess it's good that he's not quite so timid anymore, but I'd think it would be better to give him a little space and talk about what happened." Ariko shrugged before he continued, truly worried about his friends mental well-being. "Obviously stressing him out is a trigger, he's always been weird about people being too close."
When she spoke of a rumor about him and Reiku, Ariko's eyes went wide with shock before his jaw dropped. "L-l-l-love,....R-r-r-r-reiku? IIE!!" His stammering led into the shriekish denial with a flood of blush flowing into his cheeks. He had never thought Reiku liked him that way, instantly trying to think of an instance where that would have been obvious. "We were always together, but I hang out with Chojin too. I can't help that a majority of my friends are gay."

Sachiko clapped both hands over her mouth in an effort to suppress the unbidden giggle fit that burst from between her heart-shaped lips. Amethyst eyes sparkled with amusement, and her cheeks visibly pinkened.
"Oh, Ariko-kun, you should see your face, ne? Don't worry, no one thought the feelings were mutual... an unrequited love sort of thing."
She lowered her hand from her mouth, placing them across her green swathed hips.
"You mean you never even suspected it? Wow, you're kinda clueless, ne? Well, I suppose it doesn't matter... it's only a rumor. No one knows for sure but Inoue-san."

Mike semi-noticed, but he did not take much stock in the other couple heading for the bathroom. It was more private that way. He began to smile, calming down from the fear, and feeling the happiness truly well up within him.
"Reiku-san," his hand moved to the boy's chin and moved their eyes to meet one another, "Nothing that is not you will ever make me leave you. Only a lover can break the bond of love, yo. I'm here. I'm here for everything you need, and if you ever feel uncomfortable, just tell me, and we'll do something about it. I love, Inoue Reiku-san. I love you with all my heart and soul. Nothing can stop that."
Michael moved in, closing his eyes as he prepared to meet Reiku's lips in passionate lock of love.

Reiku blinked, slightly taken aback by his boyfirend's words. It seemed lik he'd waited forever to hear such a thing directed towards him... Now that it was truly happening, a slight fount of terror began to well within the slightly delicately built teenager. As Michael turned his chin so that their eyes met, his cheeks bloomed crimson.
"My-kun, I... I..." He still couldn't say it. He wanted to, he truly truly did, but he could not force out the words. Instead he leaned forward, so that their lips did meet.
After a moment or two, he finally pulled away, a slight smile on his lips, the blush not even close to fading. He uttered a nervous giggle, looking at Michael through the screen of his bangs. it was then that he noticed the two of them were alone.
"oi, where did Ariko and Shinohara go? They didn't leave did they.... I mean this is Ariko's room. "

Ariko pouted as Sachiko, for lack of a better word, called him dense for not knowing about the supposed crush Reiku had on him. "How was I supposed to know? It's not like I was trying to snag a guy or anything." He shrugged before shaking off the question and sucking his lip back in.
Now that the subject was out of the way, he wondered what was going on in his room. He was still contemplating changing his sheets just in case, but he'd better do it when he was alone. Sachiko had already told him to be nice when he mentioned it before. "Maybe it's best if no one knows but him, I wouldn't want him to get all weird around me just because he had some crush on me."

Within that passion, that lock between their two souls, Mike found infinate joy and infinate light. This meaning, this feeling was something that he had longed for and needed for such a long time and now he found it.
After it, he could only smile, the biggest, goofiest, most optomistic smile he had ever given. He smiled so much that his cheeks began to hurt, but he didn't care if his face was stuck this way for eternity. He was joyous.
As Reiku posed the question, his smile lessened some, but his eyes never lost joy. "Oh, they're probably in the bathroom, having their own little romance scene while they give us some privacy," he said this statement with intentional volume, enough for Ariko and Sachiko to hear.

Sachiko couldn't help but to giggle at Ariko's pouting face. He was so adorable. As he sucked in the poked out lip, she reached up, running a hand through his platinum locks. It was surprisingly soft to the touch. She smiled up at him.
"It doesn't matter anyway, ne? The only crush you need to worry about is me. I have a huge crush on you, after all."
Her dark brows lifted in surprise as Michael's voice filtered through the door. She giggled again.
"Is he serious? You got a nice bathroom and all, Ariko-kun, but it's not exactly a starlit picnic. How romantic does he think we can be in here? Boy, guys are weird, ne?"
Reiku tilted his head curiously.
"The bathroom? Why.... nevermind... maybe it's better not to ask, ne?"
Reiku gave a soft chuckle, raking a hand through his touseled hair. He groaned a bit at the action. Damn but his body ached somethng terrible. He must have really gotten somebody mad... or rather, he had. Why couldn't he just go away.
He looked to Michael once more and smiled. he couldn't help it with such a big grin on the other kid's face; it was contagious. He reached up and gave Michael's hair a playful tug.
"What are you so happy about?"

Ariko sneered at the door as Micheals voice filtered into the bathroom, seething that the boy made it sound like they were too involved to take notice of them leaving. "What the hell's his problem? It's not like we're in my room or anything." He knew his statement probably sounded absurd considering what he said, but he wasn't wrong about being in his room after all.
His anger was replaced quickly however as Sachiko ran her fingers through his hair and smiled at him. It made him feel better to know she had a crush on him, but when she made mention of the bathroom not being romantic, he just had to prove her wrong. "I don't know,....I always try to make the best out of any given situation."
Without a moments hesitation, Ariko leaned foreward and kissed Sachiko. Slipping his tongue pass her lips as his hands pulled her closer to him, he toyed with her silky mane as his tongue lashed against hers.
