Ukrainian food is awsome heart I love Canadian cuisine, simply because we don't really have anything of our own. Other than KD, we just have a mix of all sorts of ethnic foods, and that's awsome. I love seafood as well though, since I grew up catching and eating alot of fish and crab. Halibut is my favorite white fish, but I probably like salmon just as much. I even have a seafood eating song, but that's kind of weird I guess.

...my blog is prettymuch just a list of things that I've recently eaten and my thoughts on them, so I know I could probably go on for a while. Instead, I'll stop here. 3nodding sweatdrop hehe.

We sort of have Canadian cuisine; it just depends on the region. For example Poutine! gonk
West Coast cooking is more a conglomeration of world cuisine and unique recipes that are health conscious and tends to feature a lot of salmon.

Halibut is the only fish I will eat... sometimes I will eat pollock cakes, though.
Try and pass cod off on me in my fish and chips and I'll throw it back at you! scream
whee

I guess I'll have to check out the prices on K vs. S dvds... I think it would be the first season, I didn't even know it was over yet. I am so behind *sigh*

Is that just a west coast thing, really? I've allways had the impression that was part of Canada's whole "multiculturalism" thing. I definitely need to travel more.

Oh yeah, we're all about health consciousness in Eastern Canada.

I never knew there was so much to being from Canada o.O whoda thunk it? lol cool My Grandma makes awesome Polish food so i too have love for most Slavic dishes, though theres some that i wouldnt touch with a ten foot pole. i mean they make dishes out of parts of a pig that even the pig dont want back! xd 3nodding heart

Hahahha! xd

Ah! It's only the French/Quebecois who make things complicated. Everyone else are like the Americans. "African-Canadian"/"African-American", "Chinese-Canadian"/"Chinese-American", etc... or just plain ol'Canadian.
The Quebecois are our verison of Confederates xd Only ours hasn't started a civil war yet. East vs West like South vs North. rolleyes

Canada's cool. I went there once when i was a kid, to see Niagra (sp?) Falls. I thought it was so cool how everything was in french and english. xd 3nodding I'd be hard to imagine Canada in Civil war... it'd be crazy.

>> Conservatives decide not to lower the Canadian flag to half-mast every time a Canadian soldier is killed <<

IMHO, it is the government that decides that we go to war, and send our people out ... they will sail the flag at half mass when a senator dies, or when a former MP dies... but not the men they sent out in harms way? I mean, it's not as if we lose people every day, and we are a small nation... is it so hard to honour those who lost their lives in the Canadian Army, by lowering the flag for a day?

The conservative gov't blows goats. I have proof.

I'm not big on war, but damn, the people who do go deserve some respect. The rich politicans don't sacrifice their lives for the wars that they chose to get involved in. They better be recognizing the soliders in another way then if not by lower the flag. xp

Hey Isabelle,

I just watched the Kenny Vs. Spenny that they were betting on who could sell the most bibles.... Kenny is so EVIL! (And I don't think it was just the devil costume and the black pantyhose sans pants that did it)

I laughed so hard I wet myself a little redface

I know! He is like the Canadian incarnate of the devil. xd I saw an episode where they had to see who was the better dad, and Kenny basically killed his kid (one of them baby dolls) 7 times over. Of course, Spenny on the other hand, was pretty sweet. XD Then Kenny switched the babies overnight and won. xp

I think that might be 'Centigrade' you're thinking of (which is the same thing, just it's old name used from the 1750 til 1950...) Celsuis is actually named after Anders Celsius
Centigrade means "consisting of or divided into 100 degrees".. so you're right 3nodding
