I really didn't like it in Volume 1 of FY, when Tama(or Taka now, w/e) completely turned down poor Miaka, but I really hated it when she thought she'd been raped, and she ran away from Tamahome/Taka, and then thought about staying w/ Amboshi and his family, I nearly cried! I kept like screaming in my head, "No Miaka! You weren't raped, but even the Tamahome still loves you go back to him!!!" I really hated that, and I a bout died waiting to get the next volume. It sucked! Now I'm waiting for vol. 15 to come out...

emerald_blue The worst moment is definetly when Mayura puts the mudoru curse brand on Kyou. Alice's expression...it made me cry.... yep that was so heartbreaking

Everything was covered in pink, you somehow saw LESS of them then you did vs when they were in their clothes, and Miaka went on and on and on- (*ten minutes later*) and on about how this didn't have anything to do with sex.

lol...I agree. The anime was a little more childish than the manga. Now that I think more, I understand what you mean when you say it's like if Disney did porn xp The pink throws the "intimate" part off...I still think it's a semi-sweet way to show "that" subject to the younger audiences though

I saw that episode with him and his little sisters *cringe* the four of us had no idea what was going on until they flashed to the morning after. But my least favorite scene would be in FYGK when you meet Taikiko's love interest first, because that made me think that it was going to be pure FY over again with the names changed.

In ceres, when toya forgets aya and "remembers" miori.... I was like, "oh christ. This is cheesy."
Oh, and i was just a tinsy bit miffed about her comming on to Yuhi just because she felt sorry for herself. My friends and i read that at the same time and screamed, "SLUT!!!". but she's not, really.... sometimes....
I hated the ending for imadoki; i mean, it was cute, but i wanted it to keep going! they were so cute together!!!

In, I believe, the last volume of the original Fushigi Yuugi manga and the final OVA2 episode when Miaka <<chooses Taka over the man whom she believes to be her beloved (er... ex-beloved?) Tamahome. Ignoring the fact that he wasn't exactly Tamahome, she still believed him to be so it severely rubbed me the wrong way when she started getting all weepy and sobby about how she'd taken forever to call Taka by his own name and not "Tamahome" and that she loved Taka now. Seriously, I felt infinitely horrible in Tamahome's place. Sukunami Taka is the reason I can tolerate Tama and Miaka as a rabu-rabu couple and not hate myself for it.>>
I still get snippy when I think about it.

Yeh, OVA2 Tamahome was << a fake (sorta... it's kinda sketch since evil!Tama and Taka end up merging into one being in the end so that Taka can regain the memories of Tamahome that had been inserted into Yousei) but Miaka believed him to be the real Tama whom she fell in love with.>>

To the Tama/Taka discussion:
I never really understood that. <<Tamahome was supposedly the real one because he was made from the memory spheres. When Tama accidentally killed Miaka Tenkou even said something like, "He must feel awful after killing his own true love," and he wasn't talking about Taka. But then Tama did attack Miaka with those wire things that went through her skin and I would never believe in Tamahome ever hurting Miaka purposely (not counting the diedu). >>

Well, that guy wasn't exactly Tamahome. It was one of Tenkou's men with all his memories and feeling. But the real Tama is a bit different..
